Over the past week or two, I've noticed that my phone keeps resetting the ringtone to the default. Sometimes it will go several days without issue, but it eventually will reset. Anyone else experiencing this problem, or know of a way to fix it? Thanks in advance.

This is my 2nd HTC diamond , with the first one I had heating problems.
Now with this one the first thing I noticed (only twice) is that it keeps vibrating on incomming sms until I soft reset.. well it only happended twice and looks good now.
But what really annoys me is that on random moments the speakers dont give any sound at all and the device needs a soft reset.. This has happend like 5 times now. Anyone else experiencing this same ussue?
Yes it is known and AFAIK unsolved problem...
I have the same problem. Soft or hard resets don't change anything. The sound of the system disapears randomly and only returns after a soft reset. First I thought it had to do with the scheduled mail check, but I could eliminate that as a reason. I also reinstalled the original ROM, that didn't help either. Hopefully someone has a solution, while my Diamond isn't that much fun when it gives no sounds.
Anyone else have an issue with the volume muting itself sometimes and not allowing it to increase? Happened when I used "volume ace", but I deleted that a while ago and it's still doing it. Have to restart the phone and then it corrects it. Also, sometimes after setting my profile to silent and then back to normal, my ringtone volume is super loud and I have to readjust it.
Also, my Google sync always says it's experiencing problems and will be back later, is that normal?
Use an explorer to see if there are any remains of the app. I have never had this problem.
You needed to reset sound settings before deleting the app. Try reinstalling the app to try and reset it. If not, factory reset.
I reinstalled volume ace and changed a couple settings and uninstalled. Not sure if that'll make a difference, since it happens so randomly, but I guess I'll see.

While scrolling through my Nexus 6 apps, the phone froze and the screen went nuts. I had to turn the phone off and restart it. Samething happened a few hrs later....... Am i the only one experiencing this? Any troubleshooting tips? Thanks in advance.
Never seen that before. Are you on stock?
I was on stock and had it happen one time. A reboot resolved it. I think the SW thought I wanted to add all my apps as shortcuts.
Im also running stock. Havent had an issue until today. First time it happened, i had to reboot. Second time I just locked and unlocked the phone.
about a week ago i started to have an issue were i push my power button to turn the screen but all my icons would be unresponsive until i turn the screen off than on again it would work fine. i called att and was told the software update messed up some setting in my phone and they needed to do a hard reset and it should fix it well that only made it worse. there sending me a new phone but has anyone else had this issue?
I have the exact same issue. Did AT&T send you a new phone? How did you resolve the issue?
Guys there is already another thread that's been going on for some time.
Mods please close this!
@cheetah2k is right.
Just wanted to ask if anyone else has this issue. Whenever I look to connect my Bluetooth headphones to the phone, it causes a freeze problem. This only seems to have happened the last couple of times I've tried it. Also, it only seems to happen when I've already turned on the Bluetooth setting on the headphones before I then search for devices on the phone. It gets stuck in some kind of freeze loop. Only way out is to try to hard reset the app. Initially, I panicked cos I can't pull the battery out.
