Hello,
I've flashed a few phones in my time, but did not know about how toggling "OEM unlock" is absolutely necessary to avoid FRP locks.
I flashed a custom recovery and Stock Lite ROM and after setting it up, encountered the following:
Custom binary blocked by FRP.
SECURE FAIL: KERNEL

To clarify, FRP is locked with an account I control and am happy to use to unlock the tablet.
Booting to recovery does not seem possible, it just displays the previous error when I try.
When I enter download mode, I receive the following:

The strange thing is, I cannot communicate with the tablet via ODIN anymore. I've tried two computers and 3 USB cables, including the exact cable I used to originally flash the device. I tried Samsung USB drivers downloaded directly from developers.samsung.com, and had no luck.
I'm willing to do any reading necessary to try to fix it, but am not sure where to go from here without being able to flash/modify the state of the device.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Try removing your google account then factory reset.. And see if the option becomes available
You first have to unlock frp, then unlock bootloader

Not working
Enable USB Debugging in Developer Options then in your PC open adb and type the command
adb enable oem unlocking
I've faced the same problem. This happens when you don't enable OEM Unlocking before you unlock the phone. You need to recover the phone through erecovery (this will delete all your data) and then turn on OEM unlocking, only after then you should unlock your bootloader. Otherwise this is what happens. Cheers.

how can i flash and unbrick it?
please help...

As far as you described the circumstances, there is no Option to Unbrick it.
But Why?
Except from the Recovery Mode there is the Download Mode to Flash Software/Tools (e.g. Bootloader, Recovery, ROM):
-> One Option ist to access the I9300 via Download Mode and ADB/Odin, but without a working USB-Port... .
-> Another Option is to access via Wireless-ADB (Network-IP-based ADB), but to activate it, you'll have to get into the ROM's Settings (Developers-Options). Therefore you'll need an working ROM, which didn't seem so... .
-> Last possible Solution: Get in touch with Microelectronics and solder a new Micro USB Port to your Phone.
Otherwise you'll now have new opportunities to use your I9300 as:
Decorative Night Light/ Paperweight/ Doorstopper...
(Annotation: The Battery Charging Dock won't help, 'cause it's construed for standalone loading accumulators.)

There was a thread... https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...d-expired-certificate-whats-next-lol.4403393/
In short, Samsung's server https://rmm.samsung.com that does unlocking has expired certificate (four months ago), so now noone can unlock it that way. Only two options are to wait for Samsung to update certificate, or go to some repair service — they might have some app that can unlock RMM (these have rather expensive licenses).

Hello to all the Mi9 Scene!
I bought a cheap bricked Mi 9 yesterday and i need some help unbricking it. The previous owner told me that the phone got bricked (stuck on MIUI logo) after an update. I already tried Mi Flash, with no success because the bootloader is locked and it won't let me flash. I'm also unable to unlock the bootloader because it was not configured on Developer Settings before. I also tried XiaoMiToolV2 and MiFlash Pro recovery metohod with no success.
Can anyone help me trying to bring this device to life? Maybe using EDL metohod will work?
Thanks in advance
use miflash, flash an official rom and choose below in the page lock option
MiFlash doesn't work on locked bootloader. I sold the device today for the same price that i bought. Thanks anyways
Same problem here.
Mi9 blocked on Boot screen with miui logo, android and 3 points...
I guess firmware update crashed

The owner would like to not loose a call recording and photos... I can see the fast boot screen but didn't used it not sure it won't make more problem...
Do you think she can transfert data with fast boot odb?
She just connected the phone to the pc to transfer photos but of course the computer doesn't see the phone...
Can someone help? Is it possible to install firmware update again without loosing data?
Thanks for your future advices (and sorry for my English )
Hi guys,
My pixel 5 died recently while playing a video. It will not turn on, nor make any sound. There is no haptic feedback as well when I start the device. The only time it is detected is when I boot it up in fastboot mode (Press and hold Power and Vol Down). It is detected as Pixel 5 on windows pc. It is detected under fastboot devices but I can't seem to do anything else with it. I am unable to get an adb connection. I don't remember if usb debugging was turned on or not on my device before it died, it most likely was enabled but can't get it connected via adb.
Note: The phone is bootloader locked
My question is can I recover my data from the phone through fastboot only without a working display?
Thanks.
Perhaps you could try booting into twrp and see if you can access the data that way?
Thanks. I did try that but I can't really boot into recovery as the device is bootloader locked.

Oh no. I hope someone can prove me wrong but I believe your only option now is to send it in for a repair.

This. Without bootloader unlock, your chances of dumping partitions are zero.
@nabeeltariq Are you able to access stock recovery? You may be able to sideload an OTA package to get working again.
