In which note 7 rom did it work for you?
Hi folks,
If you guys have rooted your phone, please help to test the following app:
Phone INFO ★Samsung★ : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.phoneinfo
I need to check if the Usage History (Charger Connect counter, S-Pen Detach counter, Headset Connect counter) is available in the Note8.
You can check if they exist in the PERSONAL tab or in the "Refurbishment Check" menu.
Thanks.
Yeah, works for me.
(I've been using your app since my Note 2, thanks)

May I request some more help.
Please show me a screenshot of the tab "CSC CODE" if it is possible.
I want to check if all info are shown with a rooted device.
Thank you.

So the dark screenshot is from the rooted device and the light one is from non-rooted device, right?

Oh, sorry about that, forgot to mention. Light one is from stock firmware & CSC. Dark one is after I installed the tmobile transformation mod. Both are rooted.
I included both cause on stock CSC it didn't show anything for original csc & thought maybe it might tell you something.
Thank you for your info.
I have no idea on tmobile transformation mod as I'm not familiar with it.
It sounds a bit weird.
I will look into it to find the cause of the difference.
Mine doesn't show the usage counters.

Please make sure you have rooted the device.
If it has been rooted, grant a root permission for the Phone INFO app.

I know I'm reviving a dead thread, but do you happen to have that ZIP file? The original link has long been broken but I'm staying optimistic.

You're right. You have to install the mod for that to be in settings. If you want it let me know.

Are you on Android 10? If so, I don't know if it will work but you can give it a shot. It works on Android pie for sure.
Oh yeah another thing. Is your directory setup /system/system on Android 10?

It still is possible with a laptop, provided the bootloader's are the same. This will factory reset your phone though so back it up

Bootloop or will stop on Samsung logo, either way it's a soft brick...
ODIN will fail while flashing leaving you with an unusable phoned until you reflash the correct Android 10 firmware with a compatible bootloader.
Only way you might get around this is by unlocking bootloader and rooting phone but that brings it's own bag of cats to worry about...
