You may have to try restore stock firmware using odin. Did u try this method to get into download mode? Disconnect the USB cable from ur phone but keep the cable plugged into your computer. Then hold down Bixby+Vol Down and then plug the usb cable in.

Its not possible but before install wrong twrp i has selected options "Nand erase" and "Auto Rebooting"

OK...
Not to be a ****, but.....
Welcome to Bricksville, population - you...
IF, and it's a big if, you can get your hands on a download mode dongle it might, not 100% sure, but just might get you into download mode if you haven't deleted the bootloader completely...
You will need a micro-usb to usb c dongle as well...
I haven't tried this on my Note 9 but it might work...
Then you should be able to flash stock rom (make sure it is your stock rom with matching CSC and everything) through ODIN, DON'T tick NAND erase as this might/will delete your IMEI (if you haven't done so already)...
Good luck...

Layer 1 first. Try a different USB port, try a different USB cable.
switched cable switched port
now it "add remove" on normal connect but when in download mode it looks stable
worry that if i start the ODIN it will brick the phone it if"add remove" itself agin
and i was right... add remove again on ID 5 in download mode
the thing i dont get is that in storge mode it works fine... backuped right now 1.4G of data without problem

Solution: Recovering from soft brick

I faced a unique problem today...
1. Got a notification to update Super Su
2. After updating, went to the app and it asked for updating binary...clicked Ok
3. Asked which method to use- Normal or CWM/TWRP...clicked CWM/TWRP
And all hell broke loose...the phone rebooted and kept stuck at Samsung GT-N7000 screen
Tried booting into recovery using the Vol Up+Menu+Power Button but failed to boot into recovery and always booted in the same GT N7000 screen
In short my custom recovery was messed up...
The above may not be a huge problem for people frequenting these forums and having basic google search finesse, but still it took me more than 3 hours to un-brick my phone after trying several combinations and permutations, so to the benefit of other members here's my simple solution:
1. Check if you can get into download mode by using Volume Down+Menu+Power Button
2. If not, your problem might be more serious and you should keep searching for a solution...best of luck!
3. If you can get into download mode, fine ...lets continue...
4. Prepare your PC for flashing a custom recovery via PC Odin:
a. Download PC Odin: I used Odin 3 V 1.85
b. Download a custom recovery: I used Philz 5.03
c. Uninstall Kies and Samsung Drivers from your PC (do it, it worked for me!)
d. Install latest Samsung Drivers afresh
e. Eject and physically remove all USB connected devices from your PC
f. Disable any antivirus software
5. Now get to download mode on your handset- after Volume Down+Menu+Power Button- on the next screen press Vol Up key to enable download mode. Do not connect phone to PC yet.
6. Run Odin as administrator. Let the app window come up on your screen.
7. Connect the original Samsung USB cable to the USB port at the back of your PC- this is to ensure it gets connected to the motherboard USB slot directly- please do this- critically important- at least in my case. For a laptop, I guess any port will do.
8. Connect your phone to the PC using USB cable
9. The ID:COM indicator on the PC ODIN window should turn yellow in a few minutes
10. Do not click on any buttons on ODIN Window- Auto-Reboot and F.Reset Timer should be checked and everything else should be left unchecked.
11. Click on PDA tab on ODIN and browse to the custom recovery tar file, select it- it should now appear under PDA tab.
12. Click on start and let ODIN do its thing...
13. Disconnect the phone after successful reboot.
The above steps helped me recover my soft-bricked phone.
I understand you should follow the steps verbatim to use this method...believe me I have tried several iterations- using front USB port, trying without disconnecting all other devices from USB port, without uninstalling Kies, et al...and failed everytime.
I hope this helps you.

[Q] i8190n USB only charges

Hello!
I did a root with odin on my device many time ago, it was successfull. But after that, when I plug the USB in the computer, it only charges. It wasn't important for me, because my device was rooted.
But nowadays I tried to update to 4.4.2 from 4.1.2, so I thought that if I wipe cache and data the USB will work again... but no, so I thought: "maybe if I unroot...", and now I have a gt-i8190n without root and with an USB that only charges.
I tried to update from SD, but the result is: "signature verification failed".
I can get in download mode, but my computer doesn't recognize the device (tried in other computers, and with other cables).
So, here is my question: Will a JIG USB solve anything?
Thanks

yes, i did it.
How can I disable signature verification? my recovery is a 3e WITHOUT modify. And remember, no root and no USB connection (nobody said was going to be easy).
PD: English isn’t my first language, so please excuse any mistakes, I'm spaniard.

I've tried many files (I can take the microSD and load files in the computer). But when I start the recovery mode and select external storage, it seems to work, until it arrives to that signature message.
Yes, my i8190n is working as good as Spain in the world cup.

I think you need to install the USB drivers for your s3 mini.
If you use TWRP as recovery then boot to recovery > settings > uncheck "Zip signature verification" then you will not again get a failed message.
Do a nandroid backup before you start flashing

The drivers are correctly installed, because the first time I rooted I had no problem, and after it, I have plugged another device (an i8190n, too) and the computer recognizes it without any problem.
I have a 3e recovery, so I can't uncheck "Zip signature verification".
May I start to look for a jig USB?

No wonder why it fails 3e recovery is the stock recovery from s3 mini. You can only flash signed zip from Samsung. You need a custom recovery for flashing custom ROMs if you still have root access then download from play store "ROM Manager" and install CWM recovery or download "[ROOT] Rashr - Flash Tool" for flash CWM or TWRP recovery.

I'm so clever that I unroot the device hoping the USB works :silly:
Can I flash a signed zip from Samsung from the SD and pray for the USB works normally again?

Put the phone in download mode and flash twrp in odin. It's the only way to put a new recovery there without root already.
Otherwise root it, and then flash recovery with rommanager or other similar app.

As I have mentioned before, my device USB only charges, there isn't communication with computer. I know how odin works, but the problem is with the USB.
I'm asking if JIG USB is the only solution, and if it will work.
Thanks for all the answers, but as I had said before... USB only charges :crying:

I'm not sure if it will work, but it's the last thing to try.
I have made an order of the jig USB, and it is supposed to arrive in 20 days (less than 2$ and free shipping). Until then, must wait... I'll will tell you if it works or not.
Thanks!

Even when you put your phone in download mode and then connect the cable?
If so, same thing will probably happen with a USB jig. They are only to force the phone to DL mode. You still have to connect it after that..
How can you tell that it charges in download mode? There is no icons for that.

Yes, when I connect the cable Odin doesn't recognize it, so I supose that only charges (it's true, perhaps it doesn't do it, there isn't any icon). It's supposed when I conncet the phone to the computer, it should pop up the "new storage" (with Odin closed), but it doesn't, only charges.
I want try USB jig, because I have read that it will put the counter to 0 (hoping is this the problem)

Counter is not set to 0 with usb jig on this device. We use triangle away for that.
If you got Kies installed, then uninstall it and install samsung drivers only.
See if there's dust in the phones usb. Take some thin plastic, but be gentle.
Just a few ideas but you've probably tried it all.

It's what I supposed, but it's a way to try if USB connection works (not 100% but if it doesn't work I will know it's a hardware problem)
I've tried uninstall Kies and install samsung drivers, I've cleaned the dust in the usb, but I don't understand what I have to do with the plastic, is the same plastic to keep food fresh? must put it on the usb?
not working yet
my USB JIG has arrived and I have tried it... and still doesn't work. Yes, it starts the download mode, but when I plug the USB to try something, the computer (ODIN) doesn't do anything. I have tried with my wife's phone and it works, it's a i 8190n, too.
I'm not going to try anything more, YOU WIN THIS TIME i8190n!
Hi, I have the same problem with my GT-8190, but it happens after my phone drop onto water..
charging is work, but it say "USB device Not Recognized" when I try to connect with PC..
now i want back to stock rom, but I can't do it if my phone not recognized to PC.
Do you have an idea how to flash official stock rom without PC(Odin)?
Sorry for my English

Having problems installing ROM.

Okay so i did something dumb and I'm wondering if there is a way out. I just got my second Note 5 because I dropped my first one and the screen went black. It was gonna be cheaper and easier to just buy a new device than actually repairing all the damage.
I installed TWRP through Odin. Stupidly, I did a complete wipe, including internal storage, and now I can't get the device to see the USB/OTG. I have a new cable on the way that's going to get here tomorrow. I can't think of what else it could be? Any ideas would be much appreciated. It doesn't have an OS so I'm thinking I may have wasted 250$.
It's not turbo charging either so could It be the charging port that's causing it to not be picking up the OTG?
Does Odin recognize it at least in download mode?
Have you tried mount on as usb in twrp?
press install>select storage then there will be two option
Internal storage and USB storage. Click on USB and the value will change from 0 to the amount of gb your otg have, then you can flash via otg

Step 3 from the other guy's post above you. That's what I was gonna help you with because you wiped the internal storage. Odin will still recognize it but in Download mode and she won't work again unless you flash the stock firmware specifically for your phone from the link above.
Fixed
I reOdined and same problem so I went back and looked at the instructions. I saw that you had to have MM flashed onto the device so I tried that and it worked. I just figured updating the phone would give me enough but it didn't. Thanks for all the help guys!

samsung note 1 N7000 do not boot

Hello,
I have read many posts, very interesting but no solution of my trouble.
My phone does not boot.
I have tried a factory recovery, nothing.
I have installed the USB driver, the ODIN. I tried to communicate through ODIN with different stock ROM, different ODIN versions, USB drivers and computer, nothing.
Maybe the reason is that the settings of the phone is not set to accept downloading through USB port.
What is your opinion?
Thanks
for information the configuration is
phone samsung galaxy N7000GSMH,
windows8,
USB_Drivers_1.5.27.0,
odin V3.09, V3.10, V3.12
ROM N7000XXLRI_
Se
Pleaze, does anyone have an idea?
I read that I should enable the usb debug in my device, but the phone is stuck in the boot....
Please help
Can you enter the recovery mode ?
I have the same sort of issue. My current phone just bricked itself, so I reached into the closet and pulled out my old GT-N7000, only to find it won't boot. Only the initial boot screen is displayed.
Charging mode works, and I can get it into download mode , - but not recovery. Odin recognises the phone, though not consistently. When I try to flash a stock ROM via Odin, with or without repartitioning (PIT file), Odin begins the operation and just stalls indefinitely.
Does this indicate hardware failure?
