Hello everyone,
I have just signed just to share with you my feedback about my new phone : Redmi K20 Pro, and to see if anyone has some solutions for that.
Well first I need to mention that I have been always a Oneplus user , I really enjoyed using OnePlus 5T and also the OnePlus 6T that I lost last month.
So instead of buying the OnePlus 7 pro , I decided to give Redmi k20 pro a try after seeing so many great reviews.
The phone is nice looking (I got the blue one) and also it has 8G RAM and 256G ROM and snapdragon 855.
So after trying the phone for a month now , here is the things that I really hate about this phone and I hope it can be fixed soon:
1- Mobile data:
I don't know how Redmi is doing this but it consumes almost 1Gb of data per day just by checking Instagram and Facebook and WhatsApp from time to time.
I check the data usage everyday and I can see that these apps (Instagram Facebook) consume that 1Gb of data. And I don't even watch videos or anything.
While using OnePlus 6t last month I used to pay a full month for 5Gb mobile data , and I can use it the whole month , and I have been watching YouTube videos and posting instagram stories daily.
But now I have spent 40Gb of mobile data in just 5 days to do what I have been doing with 5Gb of data using OnePlus 6T.
2- Calls always on screen:
This one is really frustrating. I remember with every Android phone I ever owned , when someone calls me and I'm busy I can just click the power button and the screen goes off, but in Redmi k20 Pro , we can't do that , the call will be on the screen until it's done , all you can do is mute the call by pressing the volume button , but still the call will be always poping. Also you can't do anything else even after muting the call , in other phone you can go back to WhatsApp or whatever you were doing even that the call is still ringing silencely.
3- fingerprint always on screen
Even that Redmi gives you the option to show fingerprint while screen is off. When you disable that option , the fingerprint still works on background , when you touch it while the screen is off , it will unlock, and this really consume so much battery, I tried removing the fingerprint option, and I noticed better battery life.
4- Dual GPS
I guess this one too has something to do with the draining of mobile data and battery life. If you decided to change the option to GPS only , it will give you inaccurate locations.
Other than that the phone is really nice for the price.
If you have any solution for any of that , I will really appreciate your reply.
Thank you

You'll find most things are better by flashing a custom ROM. MIUI is really the only problem with the K20 Pro. It will moist likely fix 1, 2 and 3.
Not sure what your issue is with number 4. Using WiFi and mobile data as well as GPS has nothing to do with Dual GPS. More or less all phones have the option to use WiFi and mobile signals for location services. Using only GPS doesn't give inaccurate locations, it just takes longer to obtain an accurate location. GPS is the only way to get accurate locations, but to be quick it needs to know approximately where it is initially, this is where mobile and WiFi data helps.

There are a few custom ROMs around now. Check out here. https://forum.xda-developers.com/k20-pro/development
It's still early days, but they are now good enough for daily use, with some that may be close to becoming good enough to be considered as a stable build.
You will need to manually update the ROM. However some ROMs do give OTA updates, but that only happens once the ROM is stable and becomes an official build of that ROM. The main example of this would be LineageOS.
It depends what you consider for security. Most custom ROMs get updated regularly with the monthly Android security patches. You will still be able to have the phones data encrypted. But you will need to unlock the bootloader, which can be a security risk, if someone physically takes your phone and installs something bad on the phone.

I really appreciate your replies , I just hope it they can fix the 1,2,3 issues or if there is something on the settings that I missed. Since I can't see anyone complaining about those issues yet.
Honestly, just the glass body and the extra weight that comes with it. I am afraid i am gonna break it soon. Everything else is fine.
There are bugs and they will get fixed eventually. Its still not that old, miui team is focusing more on miui 11 so my guess is most fixes will come after that.
I moved from CN to Indian and cant complain much.

Thanks for your feedback. Are you facing the same 1,2,3 issues ? Specially the calls one ? How can I fix that? Sometime someone calls me while doing something really important and it's rude to cut the call and I can't answer the call because I will lose my concentration ?
no 1 sounds very weird , how can oneplus consume less data , no logic and its 40 vs 5 gb of data

I really don't know , it something like this , for example yesterday I just checked those apps using mobile data for like 15min then I moved to wifi connection. (I didn't even watch any video on Instagram and you can see that it did consume a lot of data, may be Redmi download all stories without even checking them , I really don't know , someone need to test this)
i didnt face any of those ! talking about 1 and 2 useing K20 pro chinese flashed to global version
the rest i didnt even care actually, i use the phone with always on screen with fingerprint always on and dual GPS always on, this is why i actually purchased this thing, enjoy it without worrying about battery life
if any, this phone in battery life is next to only mate 20x with its 5000 battery, didnt face the situation when i had to charge it before bed time, and i am a REALLY heavy user

- Power button ends call, you can search within the settings for this or you can find it under Additional settings\Accessibility\Interaction controls
- Data usage, I would highly recommend to setup a data limit within settings to avoid further issue, or just flash a custom rom such as xiaomi.eu.
I don't have any of the issue you mentioned using that rom. Its not hard to do this there a plenty of guides online which are easy to follow. You will lose the OTA with the EU rom but they are releasing updates regularly which can be flashed manually after you downloaded the new release (its also very easy).
I also own a OP7pro and have to say it has its own drawbacks. Apart of the 90hz screen its not better then the k20 pro.
I hope the above helps.

Thanks for your reply.
As for the calls , I don't want to end the call , I just want to let it ring on background. It's not nice to end the call on someone (and even if I do sometime they keep calling again) , I just want to click the home button and go finish my things, while the phone is ringing silenceley (just like in the OnePlus).
As for data usage , I did set the limit , but I always reach it. Just like now , just by typing this reply using my phone and using mobile data , I have consumed more than 100Mb. Please see the screenshot
By the way here is my phone details

Seems like something (one of your app I thing) is in constat sync using your data. You can check in settings\data usage which app using the most of it. I would try a complete factory reset maybe, and add apps back one by one. This may also help you to find what causing your high data usage.
Your firmware doesn't look right though. I believe you said you have a K20 pro (and I'm sure the mi9T pro not been released with 8/256gb version), even your firmware saying your device is a mi 9t pro. I think you just have a fake rom on it from your seller...
When you starting the phone up does it say "unlocked"? If yes then the above is true, then you can just replace the bootloader with TWRP and flash what ever custom rom you want.

You have a fake global ROM. It looks like you've bought a Chinese phone with a 'global' ROM. Unfortunately this 'global' ROM is fake, as at the time of buying there was no official global ROM. You will be better installing an official ROM, or trying a Xiaomi.eu ROM, then seeing if you're still having these problems.

Yes it said unlocked , I got the phone from this website https://tradingshenzhen.com/en/redmi-k20-pro-redmi-k20/1759-redmik20pro-8gb-256gb-chn.html
It did ask me which firmware , and I went with global original unlocked.
Can you please tell me how to install original ROM? or the xiaomi.eu? What the difference ? And are they in English ? I hope there is a tutorial to avoid bricking my phone.

Right you have 3 options now.
1, Is to get adb\fastboot with all the necessary drivers, then flash TWRP, then go to xiaomi. eu (https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/miui-10-0-10-1-10-2-10-3-10-4-stable-release.47170/) to download the stable and flash it via TWRP. You can use the all in one tool from here just search through the thread or google how to flash TWRP and you find your answer.
2, Is to flash the Indian Stable (called raphaelin). You would need the MIFlashTool for that but be care full DO NOT chose "clean and lock" on the bottom right only clean (otherwise you risking to brick your device)
3, Is to flash the Chinese Stable. Again you would need the MIFlashTool and the link for the rom can be found here. Locking the bootloader wouldn't cause bricking as your device is Chinese, however I don't recommend it. Specially if the Global rom come out later on I guess you want to be on that. Using the Chinese firmware will give you English but no other language, and you will see Chinese characters here and there within the UI.
The other advantage for the Chinese and the Indian firmware is that you would have OTA working, on the EU you won't.
Sorry that I didn't really gave you any direct links but I won't do your research. If you want to get any of the above done you would have to do your own research and learn the way doing it. Once you been successful you will be proud of yourself. Most of the guides can be found here, or on google. If you are a visual person just search on youtube (eg. how to use the MI Flash tool)
I hope this helps mate, good luck and all the best

I can confirm that all the problems you are facing are due to the fake rom. If it's a fake rom, you should have an unlocked bootloader. Now first of all, take backup of all your data. Then make sure you remove K20 Pro as your device from your Mi Cloud as it can cause problems later on. Next, download Mi Flash Tool, stock China ROM and xiaomi.eu ROM. Flash the stock ROM using Mi Flash Tools and fastboot. If your bootloader is unlocked, use the option "Clean All" which is present at the bottom of Mi Flash Tool. However if you want to relock your bootloader, use the option "Clean all and lock". But using this option will lead you to unlock it once again and face a waiting period. The choice is your. Once you have done this, flash TWRP and flash the xiaomi.eu ROM. You can find various guides on how should you flash xiaomi.eu on YouTube. Hope this helps

Thank you guys for giving the time to help me here , I really appreciate that , and I hope anyone else who got my same phone will find this thread helpful.
I guess I can flash the phone using TWRP , I have done that before with some Chinese phones. My issue now is deciding which ROM to choose , I don't want the EU as there will be no OTA. Now Chinese ROM has so many Chinese characters , and indian ROM I guess it has some ads if I remember reading it on some threads ? which one you guys do you suggest ? Thanks again

I'm using EU, and I have no issue with it. Everything seems to work what I use, however I'm not using NFC so cannot comment on that. We know OTA doesn't work (not sure if you know what OTA "over the air" is). It could be a bit annoying but as I said you will have regular updates for there, but you need to install them manually. There is an advantage of that as well, some updates could case issues or even crash and with this you can just skip an update and wait for the next one? Every coin has 2 sides .
Cannot comment on the other 2 roms because this one is working for me, so why would I break something if its working fine???
Little addon, my only complain on this device over the OP7pro was the 60hz screen, but there is a mod (easy to flash, no root required only TWRP) where you can overclock your screen to 75hz. There are other rates available. This will give you a very close experience what OP would give. You can find this in Mods.

Update: I see that the Mi Netherlands: Xiaomi Nederland just has announced the Global version today https://www.facebook.com/XiaomiNederland/photos/a.527907551042020/665372840628823/
So I will wait for the Global ROM to be released then flash it on my phone. I hope this is a possible solution.

Hi, after using the Mi 10 Ultra now for some weeks I will share some thoughts.
In short: The hardware (everything from charging to the cameras are simply Amazing) - however, I would not encourage anyone to use it as their "real" phone or phone used for work - at least not if things does not get better with firmware updates.
There are simply to many bugs or limitations that makes it impossible for me to be productive with the phone.
A few examples:
* Google assistant keeps be replaced by Xiaomis own assistant so I have to set it back to my preference several times a day. Not a dealbreaker but very annoying.
* Could not choose my own choice of launcher (Nova) but here I'm a bit grumpy because this turned out to be quite easily solvable (in case it does not give the same annoying behaviour as the assistant-thing)
* Does seem impossible to get RELIABLE notifications to the computer from SMS, Whatsapp etc, no matter what I do with both app specific settings (lik turn of battery optimizations, giving different permissions to the app, allouing autostart etc) AND putting general settings for restriction of mobil OFF, the phone keeps stopping data when display is off
* I have missed an enormeus amount of meetings because somehow the phone does not work with teams and intunes in a good way so all of a sudden I can not log on to intunes or onenote and has to spend 20 minutes on deletion of cach and app data, restarting the phon, sync of principples etc and then it works a few hours again. Completely useless for work. Also here I have gone trough and given permissions for almost everything to see if it helps (and it does not help). To be looked out of online-meetings several times a day because messing with the phone simply just does not work.
* Bluetooth is a trial and error thing when connectring different speakers and handsfrees, tok 3 days until I all of a sudden could pair my WF-1000XM3 with the phone for example. This was however a "one off" and now it works so I can live with that.
The things mentiones above that is connected to work is absolutely no problem on any other phones or tablets I have tried it on (Sony, Samsung, Huawei).
So for now I will put my SIM back in my old phone and use the Mi 10 Ultra as private phone and mainly like a good camera and videoeditor.
I realise it might (with the headline I posted) be posted in the wrong part of the forum.
I guess what I really was hoping for is some input to solutions of the problems I mention because I really WANT to be able to use the phone as my phone.
Install the .EU rom. It solved most of these issues for me:
+ Mi assistent is not in the rom, so Google's assistant will then stick. Overall, all google apps and services work way better when neatly made part of the eco system prior to setup.
+ notifications work out-of-the-box on this rom just about flawlessly. Had problems getting them immediately and on the lockscreen with the original Chinese rom, they work perfect with the EU rom.
+ Teams works fine here, as does contact sync, calander sync, location history etc.
Had no issues with bluetooth in either rom version. Don't use custom launchers, so can't comment on that.
Love this phone!
There's a lot of issues there. Some fixable, but overall it you want a solution... Flash the Xiaomi.eu rom..
Basically I got this phone myself realising it would be a project. Spending around 1k, on a foreign device not guaranteed to work in my country. I knew going in I would almost certainly want to change it from stock. I only mention now because it's possible to do something about it. It's silly to live with so many tiny software problems with such a majestic piece of hardware. To make your phone your daily go-to I think this phone requires a bit of extra work. I consider it a small tax for having the best phone there is.
Nice headphones btw I have the same ones. I cannot cope without them working
One more vote for xiaomi.eu ROM. It is basically the go-to ROM when purchasing a Xiaomi device.
A lot of what OP mentioned is user error combined with the software being a little odd out of the box (but totally fixable). I'm using Lawnchair no problem. Use miui hidden settings to change it.
The notification issue is annoying but all you have to do is open the app settings and mess with the notification settings a little bit. Turn on all the options and set priority to high, you'll never have a problem again.
Google assistant was on my phone and I didn't even install it... In fact I had to go out of the way to tell it to f off.
My bluetooth has worked absolutely fine zero issues. Excellent range and low battery drain.
I love this phone, it can certainly improve in some ways through software updates but the way it is I'm happy with my purchase, even spending $950 for it. Which is the most I've ever spent on a phone by a mile.
Someone's definitely going to reply to me saying "it should just work out of the box". Maybe, but if you want something that "just works" and don't value the extra features buy an iPhone.
I agree.
I don't have any problems at all.
No ads.
Google assistant works perfect, mi assistant I removed through adb
No bluetooth issues aside from the metà data not showing on my car radio.
Pretty happy here.
The thing that could be better would be some notifications icons in the always on display
Can you point me to a guide to remove miui assistant?
My issues are the right swipe notification I would like to be google feed not Chinese.
Swipe up from bottom, same thing, Chinese

Hi, I have actually put all settings to "high", "allowed" or "off" (when it comes to powersaving), but getting notifications or not having apps closed down is still a lottery (although the changes has made the situation a bit better it has not solved the problem).
Has anyone of you that DO NOT have problems tried to use the phone for work with apps like "intunes" and "teams" (because this is the biggest problem to have to reinstall apps like teams, it feels like it must have been to go to war with a "mouth charger" back in the days. Parts of theese problems I have had with Huawei phones also but there it just took some tweaking to get rid of the problems).

This phone is exclusive to the Chinese market and not built with the west in mind at all.
Anyone saying it should just walk out the box, well, unless they're living in China they're being naive and wrong. This is not a device for where we are, it is not supposed to be.
So in that mind I come back to xiaome.eu rom - why would one not take a step to make the phone work better than stock?

Thanks, then I have to go with the EU rom, This thing of spending an hour a day missing meetings and having to reinstall apps, reapprove permissions etc to be able to log in just does not fly.
Guess step one for me then is to unlock the phone.

Absolutely. Unlocking it will threaten to wipe your phone so go through with it as if you're gonna do it.
Because it needs to show you the countdown and then it's a week til you can do anything even if you wanted to

Very.
Hi. I was wondering how did you guys get the google pay to work? When I try to pay, miui card readee is trying to launch. And the assistant, "hey google" doesn't seem to work for me. I am waiting to unlock the bootloader, but made the phone to my liking 80%. Great device but needs some tweaking.

I had this with Nova,I think I ended up.. wait for it.. setting every permission for Nova I could find
The EU ROM uses the same permission style but the reigns are off. I'm glad you know you need to move to that ROM!
Trust me, you don't get these problems with the EU ROM. It's Xiaomi security being a bit too zealous.
They don't officially let you use another launcher. Obviously you get around it by setting it in the launcher you want itself.. but yeah the EU ROM doesn't do this.
Hope someone can help, the phone keeps freezing up during use, don't have many apps open. Seems to take a long time to open certain functions like the camera. Any suggestions please?

Hello! I have the MIUI Global 12.0.3 Stable version "QJOEUMX" and the 12.0.4 version didn't release yet, can I somehow install the version, for example V12.0.4.0.QJOMIXM, or I have to wait for the QJOEUMX to come out? Thank you!

If you already checked for update and didn't get anything, then you can go to web (these are plenty), download the 12.0.4 version and install via the Updater in your phone. I was done the same things.

Hi, like you I am on the globalEU release channel
I strongly recommend against trying to install firmware for the global channel (such as V12.0.4.0.QJOMIXM)
All being well the next release will drop soon, though I'm expecting an Android Q release for this phone shortly (there have been a lot of app updates in the past week)
Hopefully this may help with the freezes you're having
Tell me though, is it the 3gb or the 4gb version you have?
I ask because there was another guy posting who had the 3gb version and was reporting the same problem
MIUI is pretty bloated and needs a lot of spare memory to work well
He uninstalled a lot of MIUI apps and found it helped a lot

No problem - happy to help
The new firmware release may help a little bit I'm not expecting miracles. MIUI is just too big - something like RAM monitor from Google Play will show you how little spare memory there is on your 3gb system
Really, since there's no way of expanding your memory, the best option seems to be to reduce unnecessary processes
You might find this YouTube link helpful for some guidance on removal of unnecessary bloatware https://youtu.be/3qpYkUQwF6E
Here is everything working perfectly.

Do you need help with your MERLIN device ?

Was about to put it as a [Question] but decided to place it as possible troubleshoot and experience for anyone with same problem.
Damn, was not expecting this and out of the blue.
I used my mi11ultra normally today, on Xiaomi.eu 12.5.11.0.
I order from Uber, while i waited, was playing asphalt 9. Then poof, lost my wifi connection. Could use mobile data.
At 30% battery remaining.
Couldn't connect to wifi and decided to reboot my phone.
For a few tries turning on wifi reboots my phone after freezing for a few seconds.
Sometimes it doesnt even turn on(no blue icon)
Turn off phone and let the heat dissipate. it's not hot today, and im using FHD res at 120hz, also haven't been playing for a long time, maybe 30minutes.
Tried restart i wiped daivilk and art cache on twrp.
Tried updating just now to 12.5.12.0 , nothing.
Tried Reset Wifi, bluetooth and mobile, nothing.
It lets me, sometimes, enable wifi, search for networks, connect and the wifi shuts down after about 5 seconds.
Right now as i was writing this and decide charged the phone so i could factory wipe. Im at 60% battery and the issue is gone for now.
I posting BOLD on battery comment because i found it that that was the issue oddly enough.
I'm charging the phone till 100% and will let you know if it happens again. "i hope i don't jinx it."
My greatest fear is that i would have to send it to repairs which takes time.
I Jinxed it . Going to Factory reset.
Watched abit of Netflix and then suddenly it freezed the phone and rebooted automatically.
EDIT: It's a faulty wifi module... Have to send it for repairs

Sounds like it might be a hardware issue if it persists across all ROMs
Do you have a warranty to get a free fix ?

It had warranty, yes, and it was the Wifi module but ultimately i decided to get a refund.
Curiously i read it's a Mi 11 Series issue, if you decide to search in google "mi 11 wifi issue".
So i have to say farewell to Mi 11 Ultra Community.
My decision was done with several annoyances from Xiaomi and not for the hardware itself, all the crazy features and camera are badass.
Lack of optimization,
Missing gestures navigation with different launchers(which other manufactures already fixed long time ago in android 11...)
Generic updates(same changelog for all devices) and lack of transparency.
I still advise my friends and family to get a Xiaomi device for what they get for the price and i keep getting impressed by the hardware in these devices.
Also love the ecosystem and new features being added every MIUI version.
I got a POCO M3 with Android 10 Xiaomi.eu, that works gesture navigation and doesn't need third party apps.
I think it all comes down to software, because in the hardware department there isn't any complain from me.
I might even get a Poco X3 Pro for 170€ for a secondary device and install some AOSP rom there.
This decision might change in the future since Xiaomi said they are implementing a team dedicated for software issues, but not to this device.
Until then goodbye
Just my opinion,
seems like all hardware issues are happening to people who flashed non stock rom's.
Fingerprints before, and now wifi and Bluetooth.
Glad I am with global version and stock rom (tried .eu for a while and found it garbage). fingers crossed to stay happy

The keyboard sometime minimizes/closes itself after clicking on an input window. (only when using gestures for navigation) I haven't noticed this issue with the 13.0.9, but I can't guarantee that it wasn't a problem back then.
Having Network problem.
Coming from xiaomi.eu 12.5.20 - battery life is a lot worse.

Plenty of bugs. Reception is a bit worse, battery life more so. Keyboard doesn't pop up every now and then or decides to minimize while typing, automatic time is completely broken - shows up 07.may.2090. Now time and date are set manually otherwise it doesn't work at all. And i have to do this after every reboot. After the update all the apps have lost their permissions so they have to be granted again. So far i see no major improvements in camera. The rear display is completely forgotten. All in all i have the feeling of a minor A11 udate instead of a A12 experience. It's not a bad phone, but Xiaomi clearly don't have mature enough UI to be in the flagship game. I don't think i'm buying any other Xiaomi phone.

Its so sad to see, all this problems with this awesome phone... Im happy im still on 12.5.20, my idea was to what for a stable, stable version on A12, but ehmm, it don't seems to come.
Atleast my version is rock solid... But after this phone, no more xiaomi phones for me in some years.
It is an awesome phone, i am hoping for aosp rom sooner than later.
Hi 11 Ultra followers,
has anyone already testet the new xiaomi.eu 13.0.12.0 (release date 2022-05-13)?
Is it better than the previous 13 versions?
Still issues or finally "golden"?
Thanks and best regards!
With all the deepest respect, but why is this still called "stable" version???
For me the 12.5.20 is rock stable. Yes im still there, i follow to see when to upgrade, but it seems to take long time, if ever.
so I can not find anything runs everything smoothly
I've had the 11t pro for a little more than 2 months and even though it's not the best device out there, it does a pretty good job for a budge phone with such specs(in my opinion)
a few things I've noticed and not sure if others share the same frustration are:
after upgrading to miui 13.0.4 I noticed in top left corner (mic/cam)icons that show up when I open any app using them...any way to disable them?
when playing a game, I noticed phone sometimes lags so badly(though it's not a demanding game, visual wise) and I can't even have a whatsapp video call while playing without phone going terribly slow until I end the game.
sometimes out of the blue, the phone becomes super laggy even with no apps running, and I can't figure out what is causing it, so I end up restarting it.
if anyone has noticed anything else or has got any tips/tricks please share
p.s: is it doable to flash an eu rom on a device with global rom? I was told difference between both is google pay on european which doesn't exist on global, but I have it on mine.

The mic and camera icons is an Android 12 security feature to let you know when you might be listened to or seen, and I don't think it can be removed.
No idea regarding the game and slow downs. Sometimes with a major version change it is better to factory reset and set up from scratch, so that might help.
Yes you can flash different ROMs from other regions. The IMPORTANT thing is if your device came with a Global ROM and you unlock your bootloader and flash the Europe ROM, then you must not lock the bootloader again, if you do it will brick your device. You can put back the original Global ROM then lock again.
Hope that help.s

After updating from 12.5.21 to 13.0.9 I have experienced lags in various situation as well. After that I unlocked bootloader and flashed xiaomi.eu 13.0.4, but it's not much better. Now I'm thinking about downgrading to xiaomi.eu 12.5.10 or stock 12.5.21, that worked very well.

I know that It was clean installation. On stock with MIUI 13 I had the same problems.
I'm now on version 13.0.9, jumped to this version from 12, clean installation. What I'm finding is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turnoff around 23:30 each night, this seems to be some deliberate power saving function when the phone detects the person is likely asleep, and I can see in my access point log exactly when Wi-Fi disassociates and turns off, only turning on again in the morning when I unlock the phone. This may be related to having DND turned on using the schedule option, this is set from 22:00, but I have this set to still be disturbed by my contacts, so need Wi-Fi to remain connected. This all worked fine on version 12.
I can't see any settings under Wi-Fi or battery management to disable this. Anyone else seeing the same thing or have a solution?

Did some more Googling, found others having the exact same issue, see
https://www.reddit.com/r/miui/comments/tlxjjh
Appears to be a deliberate power saving feature, where the option to disable it, due to a bug or oversight, isn't available.
What is it with Xiaomi and their excessive battery saving modes.
wouldn't you find it under battery settings?
