Samsung Galaxy note 5 SM-N920R6 "Custom binary blocked by FRP lock"

"Custom binary blocked by FRP lock" error message appear on my Galaxy Note 5 SM-N920R6 and I can't fix it. I've tried literally everything, searched the entire internet, but I don't seem to find the right stock firmware for this model nor any other way to unroot it or fix this. Someone please help!

I know this method but my phone won't turn on. It says "Custom binary blocked by FRP lock" on the start up screen and turns back off.

I had to odin back the whole phone to factory rom

Huawei bootloader unlock error

When I try to unlock bootloader for my device p9 I show error remote not completely ???
I have number to activate .

Enable Developer Mode(Go to Settings >About Phone>Press Build Number until a message said the developer mode is activated) then Settings>Developer Mode>Activated OEM Unlock & Activated USB Debugging. Now you should be able to unlock the bootloader.

Come on.
You will not be able to unlock your bootloader once you forgot to enable the OEM.
If your stock recovery is intact you can use the force update "dload"
If it does not work, it is because your stock recovery is corrupted or has been replaced in this case your only option is DC Phoenix.
You need 15 credits if you do not have a Dongle, you will receive a username and password. DC Phoenix allows you to flash the UPDATE.APP even with the bootloader and FRP is locked.
Fastboot mode.

I need help from a big expert because I have a big problem with my P10...
ok for starter I know where is my mistake I forget to enable oem security in dev option
of course it's not my only mistake in twrp I do a advenced wipe and I wipe system sd etc...
So now my phone don't boot, twrp goe's when I flash another updape.zip with extarnal sd card and I can't flash anything with fastboot because frp it's lock...
my previous version it's l09c45b101 and I don't find full update.zip of this version just ota...
Some one can help me please

It's not big problem just boot loader lock and relock again the phone is factory reset. Ok

i had the same problem only option was to use dc phoenix so you have to pay but maybe try red lotus but it think it wont work because you dont have the option to flash stock recovery.but maybe we should give you a twrp backup of system and boot then you could boot again

I paid 15€ on DC Phoenix for flash any update.app but don't boot.
I paid 15€ on DC unlocker for erase frp but don't work.
Unlock and relock don't work
I can't use a backup or twrp because now I have stock recovery.
What can I do ???

HWOTA working and solved your problem.
just yesterday I made mine. the bootloader was open but the frp was closed.
the HWOTA has solved it nicely. now vtr-L29C432B185 firmware is up.
Unfortunately, this disadvantage is the low level format after the bootloader has been re-opened as the firmware closes.

Same problem.. and you can bug it to get locked, but won't help... my problem is that I got EMUI 8 with oreo, but also B172 rom flashed at the same time. So if I unlock it but FRP is lock, the phone won't boot to install because of rom.

I have the same issue, but i can´t turn on my phone to unlock OEM.
What can i do?

Sooo guys, if you have HUAWEI P10 (my phone is VTR-L29), which have FRP LOCK, BOOTLOADER LOECKEd and you HAVE access to ERECOVERY, you can safe you time and money to do this: send me a message, because i can't put outside link.... (you need Frimware Finder, Wifi router, and eRecovery)
I did everything like in this thread after visited phone service, there they told what my phone totaly dad...
Sooo, do it and BE HAPPY.

Did you find any solution?

I have a Huawei P10 plus (VKY-L29). Tried all methods to bypass FRP to no success.
- Talkback (V7.3 - Therefore no luck)
- Emergency dialler (*#*#6130#*#*) not picking up as well as other dial codes in emergency dial
- Erecovery (cannot find any recovery files)
- Fastboot mode (phone restarts to Welcome screen soonest booted)
- Wifi (Connect to first Wifi and then forget this network and connect again to 2nd Wifi entering some manual details on the host/proxy and then connect again to force the phone to come up with the error message in order to access help) no luck
Am I missing something? has anyone had success already regarding the Huawei P10 Plus FRP bypass????

[PROBLEM] Unable to access Mi5 after lockdown

My phone had a global stock rom and yesterday updated it to MIUI 8 Global Stable ROM V8.2.2.0.NAAMIEB via OTA (new device).
Secured it with fingerprint and a long password. (why oh why)
The phone is not in developer mode I can remember because last security check it did automatically disabled it and I didn't enabled it back on.
It has fastboot installed but is not rooted.
The phone is encrypted and after reboot asks first for password to be entered but it doesn't recognize the passw I set (my fault probably although I don't understand how because I first saved it into keepass)
Any hacks/solutions because adb or fastboot doesn't recognize the device without dev options/usb debugging ??

Is the bootloader locked or unlocked?
You can format data in TWRP to decrypt data.

It's locked, I've send xiaomi an unlock request but it's not in developer mode and usb debugging is disabled.
Update: The phone isn't registered or logged into my mi account because I just made it so Unlocking won't work the way I understand.
So current phone status :
Protected by fingerprint and password.
Not in developer, usb debugging mode.
Locked bootloader and not linked before with mi account for unlock tool.
Bluetooth and Nfc disabled (just saying)

Okay but I don't think it looks good

I've tried everything I'm able to do (what I know) but can't get it to work.
Unlock tool says the phone is not linked with an account.
MiFlash says the phone is locked (fastboot)
Adb Sideload has no permission neither because of lock.
My own fault probably but not happy the least I can say brrrr

power+vol.UP holding and then wipe data seems to solve the problem if your phone is in this state. It just wipes all and restarts in initialization mode (first start).
Didn't know this would be that easy, I just didn't want to wipe it before ...

Can't do that without accessing recovery, which I can't since the bootloader is locked. And I can't unlock the bootloader because developer options isn't turned on (no USB debugging or OEM unlocking). I also can't reset it through Mi Cloud because the phone wasn't on a Mi account.
That's one relative who was so excited to get the phone they bypassed me into setting it up properly, and now I'm stuck with a problem I can't solve.

I don't know about the redmi but the mi5 goes into some rescue mode by holding power+vol.UP even with locked bootloader.
You have three options then:
- Reboot
- Wipe all
- Connect with MiAssistant (when you connect then with pc adb says you're in sideload modus but you can't actually push a recovery because of the permissions)
Wipe all recovered the last installed rom into initialization on my mi5.

Unfortunately, the Redmi Pro doesn't go into a rescue mode, so I don't have any of those options.

I have strange problem... I have "Phone unlocked, frp lock". But on my P9 Lite only fastboot mode works.
Rrecovery mode (vol+ i power) or download mode (vol+, vol-, power) are not responding - phone reboots always to Huawei logo.
Any way to fix that?

I have a solution for you both.
I mistakenly followed the instructions above but made the mistake of not skipping everything. I got the message "Data partition corrupted do you want to format the partition" or something similar, DO NOT FORMAT ANYTHING, it should boot up normaly. I'm a bit rusty in my rooting ways u_u
Now, I got exactly the same situation as you both "Relocked" and "FRP Locked". I was able to get into the eRecovery and this is way to restore your phone.
1.- You need to get the Huawei Firmware Finder (Team MT) (https://forum.xda-developers.com/tools/general/huawei-firmware-finder-team-mt-t3469146)
2.- Unzip it and run FirmwareFinderRewrite.exe
3.- Go to the tab that says Common Base
4.- Search for the update that you know it works in my case was VNS-L31C432B388 (I tried to use VNS-L31C432B404 but its still "not active" whatever that means). Look for the FullOTA and copy the change log address (in my case: http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1258/g104/v91282/f1/full/changelog.xml)
5.- In the icons above the Tabs pres on the cloud with a page infront, the tooltip should say Proxy
6.- Copy the changelog addres in the section Firmware for install and press Set.
7.- Press Register for Update
8.- Follow the instructions bellow this (Change your DNS temporarily)
9.- In your phone go to the eRecovery.
10.- Connect to WLAN and it should find a package.
10a.- In case it doesn't find it, go back to step 4. You probably got 2 packages with the same name. I do not enterily understand the differences but I assume one is for one region and the other for other region.
11.- Wait until it restores and be happy.
If you can not change the DNS in you router, as it was my case. You can set a hotspot with your laptop/desktop and change the DNS there but you still need and active internet conection.
I connected my cellphone to my laptop via WLAN and my laptop to the router via Ethernet which provides internet. I change both DNS's for both connections.

Did you guys unlock your bootloader prior to having this situation? aka did you start with
Phone unlocked.
FRP locked.
My solution is for this situation ^ and this situation only, not for any other case.
One other thing it springs right now in my mind is, did you factory reset and delete the fingerprints ? As this might be related...

That's called a soft brick and have you tried eRecovery?
You need to go back to stock using a stock firmware which you have to find on the internet, then make a folder on your SDCard called DLOAD and put it in there, then press all three buttons and the eRecovery should boot up and detect the stock firmware.
EDIT: The guys that got stuck didn't read the part where I said VNS-L31 On B380 and did this having a custom ROM. How I know this? I've also followed my own guide and in the moment you relock your bootloader you will NOT be able to boot into your ROM anymore and you will boot to e-recovery
(which doesn't give too many options), if you were on Nougat or even on Marshmallow (skip the rollback part? )follow the rollback tutorial from N to MM from this Forum Section to get back to stock C432B160/1 , if you can't find the link just PM me
Again, I have VNS-L31 and I'm talking only from what I did, I don't know anything about your device

I'm on stock ROM and already do factory reset. But the bootloader still unlocked. When I'm trying to lock, its failed. Can someone help me?

One other thing it springs right now in my mind is, did you factory reset and delete the fingerprints ? As this might be related...
That's called a soft brick and have you tried eRecovery?
You need to go back to stock using a stock firmware which you have to find on the internet, then make a folder on your SDCard called DLOAD and put it in there, then press all three buttons and the eRecovery should boot up and detect the stock firmware.
EDIT: The guys that got stuck didn't read the part where I said VNS-L31 On B380 and did this having a custom ROM. How I know this? I've also followed my own guide and in the moment you relock your bootloader you will NOT be able to boot into your ROM anymore and you will boot to e-recovery
(which doesn't give too many options), if you were on Nougat or even on Marshmallow (skip the rollback part? )follow the rollback tutorial from N to MM from this Forum Section to get back to stock C432B160/1 , if you can't find the link just PM me

If you have this situation : phone Relocked --> its mean that the phone has been unlocked before and then relocked
If you have this situation : phone locked --> its mean that the phone has never been unlocked before
it's a security from huawei to know if the phone still have a warranty
I have the same situation : phone relocked and frp lock (P20 lite with ANE-LX1 C652 )
because i relocked the bootloader without leaving the frp unlocked.
When you relock the bootloader ( relock phone) the phone will do an automatic factory reset, and if he fail with, you can't unlock bootloader again because of the frp lock, and you can not unlock frp from developper option because the phone won't start.
I tried the Firmware Finder solution to get erecovery working with DNS, i found an update for (ANE-LX1 C652 not FullOTA) and i register it for download, the phone start downloading, after finish downloading i get a fail install error.
i tried register many version C432 C185 ..... but the erecovery is not reconizing them i think that i need a FullOTA for my ANE-LX1 C652.
Installing update with sdcard dload, always fail .

so i have unlocked my phone and this was the beginning of the problems, I had to deal with samsung phones before but the huawei was very sensitive, so i got into a problem and broke the phone system, which had taken the phone to an expert and had restored the stock phone system n it was good to roll back ,phone to work at least, he tells me that he did relock the bootloader but the message of warning still appears everytime i booted up ,
now ive the same problem as u have, and i noticed that the adb commands works only when the phone is on system ,either when i enter the FASTBOOT MODE ,ADB commands do not work anymore ,even the gray OEM unlocking,, and now i do not know if this solution works with me or not ,if i can get rid the warning message?? i dont need that silly unlocking anymore

The warning will always appear as long as the Bootloader is unlocked. read the first 3 conditions . If you are on stock and can boot on stock, delete fingerprints and any PINs and Google accounts, then Factory Reset and this should set you to FPR Unlocked, BL Unlocked. Here just lock the bootloader back and then reboot normally and use the device as you normally do, the moment you add your Google Account and/or Fingerprint the FRP will lock back. If you want to continue flashing custom ROMs etc. follow the tutorial but read all the comments (relevant ones) before you do it.
This solution might work for all huawei phones where:
1. The Oem-unlock is greyed out and NOT activated in Settings -> Developer Options
2 .Bootloader is unlocked & FRP is locked.
3. You are on !!! STOCK !!!

if that applies to you, you can try my tutorial, otherwise I have no other suggestion for you, I quit tampering with my Huawei long ago, stock is quite fine for me.
