That's right, you read it right. i unlocked my Verizon Pixel 3 XL bootloader
Android 10 has beta sign up. So I signed up and started the update download. I did NOT install the update. Then I checked my developer options and Unlock Bootloader was accessable.
I checked unlock bootloader and was able to follow the instructions here
warning do not install magyst!!! i went into a boot loop
Nice, what security patch were you on while you triggered the OEM unlock Option? July, August patch? Just curious

I read somewhere that you can not unlock the Bootloader on any Huawei devices if you have the January 2019 Security Patch Update. Also you can not rollback or flash previous updates. Is this true? I did get my unlocking code before they closed the website. But I did unlock my Bootloader at that moment. So is it still possible to unlock my device?
Thanks.

I tried downgrading my Huawei p8 lite 2017 to Android 7 so I would be able to partition my SD Card as mixed Storage, but the System Updater stops at 5% and the Update fails.
Thats why I assume, that you can not downgrade, but I haven’t had the chance to use HiSuite (maybe this would have done the trick).
Unfortunally I can’t really help you in the bootloader unlocking part, because I don’t have a bootloader unlock code and my old code fails(had to relock my bootloader after bootloop in August 2018).
But I think you should try unlocking if you haven’t already and you have no problem with data loss.
If your phone is boot looping try:
-shutting phone off
-[Dangerous]put phone in freezer for 2-3 minutes (I don’t know why, but this seems to help my phone)
-turning phone back on
still in bootloop: You have to relock the bootloader
---Why My Phone Got Stuck In Boot Loop---
I always had that theorie, that my phone got stuck in bootloop, because I didn’t reboot after unlocking and instantly flashed twrp.
I think there was an error while installing twrp, wich I didn’t notice.
Can someone share the unlock code for Huawei PRA-LA1?
every phone has another code, why you need it?
I have a pixel 4 XL and it's carrier locked therefore I can't enable OEM unlock to use the flash-all command to go back to an earlier software version. Is there anyway to get back on 10 with a locked bootloader?
Try: https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/

I talked TMobile into carrier unlocking it so I'm good now.

If what amguru says doesn't work just wait a few weeks until public beta arrives. Sign up then opt out then you'll get a Android 10 downgrade notification

Unfortunately this did not work for me on Pixel 4 XL AT&t with bootloader locked. I performed both options the second which factory resets any races all data. After the factory reset was complete I still have Android 11 developer on my phone.

a factory data reset will not downgrade your OS it only wipes all data. and unfortunately AT&t just like Verizon is super strict about unlocking phones. unfortunately like another user said above wait for the beta then opt out and you will get the downgrade.
Attempting to unlocking boot loader on Pixel 5 - However the Enable OEM Unlocking is grayed out. Any resources on how to enable this?

Unfortunately, if you have a Verizon version of the phone, you can't unlock the bootloader. Only unlocked Google versions allow it.
So I unlocked my bootloader a week ago in order to root my Samsung galaxy M21 Android 11 One UI 3.1, but since the steps were unclear and I was kinda scared I just ditched the idea of rooting. So I searched on Reddit and etc, once you unlock bootloader whether you get OTA updates. There were mixed answers, but then I found a thread saying that I could re-lock the bootloader so I went with the tutorial and re-locked it!!! My question is once you unlock and then lock the bootloader again will you get OTA updates or not???

Yup, you should get OTA updates if you flashed stock rom and relocked your bootloader

I actually unlocked the bootloader on my Mi 10T Pro 5G and then after a few weeks I decided to re-lock it. I installed the stock fastboot ROM and the locked the bootloader with the "fastboot oem lock" command. Will I still receive OTA updates? Thanks!
So Im on The pixel 4 xl from Spectrum/Verizon on android 12 build number SP2A.220305.012 and the OEM UNLOCK option in the developer options is finally usable. i checked it and none of the fastboot commands for unlocking the bootloader work. Does anyone have any ideas what's going on? or how to actually unlock the bootloader?
So I successfully unlocked the bootloader. i had to use a different computer because the first one wasn't communicating with the phone in fastboot mode. So anyone that still has a verizon/spectrum mobile pixel 4 xl that wants to unlock the bootloader, just install the mentioned above build and use the fasboot flashing unlock command.
