OK people good news, we got Android Pie on board (OneUI 1.1) with the June security patch. More information on the screenies attached.
Has anyone found a way to theme it? Swift installer no longer works with it, not does sungstratum. Also, hex installer, or custom one UI installer doesn't work either since the tablet doesn't support themes. I installed the Galaxy themes apk but it just sits there loading, I suspect because the framework isn't there to support it.
Available for the Canadian variant now too! SM-T380

Dear All,
Samsung has released Samsung Galaxy J2 2016 which has AMOLED 5" display, sc8830 chipset with 1.5GB RAM. The device is preloaded with 4 themes, I want more themes from Samsung Official Theme Store. My device is rooted.
For this, I have already done following:
1. Updated to Latest Version of Galaxy Apps
2. Installed Latest Theme Store app
3. Changed build.prop values to the device which supports themes since officially J2 2016 doesn't support downloadable themes.
I successfully opened theme store but when I click download button, it shows theme mismatch error.
I hope I am very close to resolve the issue but finding it difficult to figure out what causes this mismatch.
Can anybody help to understand the issue and resolve ? Is there any thing in build.prop that needs to be modified OR stock launcher from other theme supported devices may do the trick ?
Thank you all for your support.

Stock launcher from other device like j5
You should try to port stock launcher of other j series phone like j5 and j7 in you device. I don't know because i have not experimented on my dad's phone

Hi there, I just installed Android Pie with One UI on my Note8 and it is very good on many points ... But I can't get Samsung Routines to work ! It worked just fine on Oreo, but now I can't even find it after installing the apk and searching through the "activities" on Nova launcher.
Is it not supported yet with Android Pie, or am I doing it wrong while installing it?
This app became so essential to me :crying:
Thanks for your help
Hello, I am new to xposed and edxposed framework and stuff so these questions will probably sound stupid, sorry in advance.
I have both programs installed on my oneplus 6t from europe. I have tried multiple modules but most just wont work. Alot of these were last updated on 2016 and stuff. I found a list with all the android pie compatible modules, but none have descriptions or download links. The list is also very limited, I am especially interested in a modded/module for snapchat but snappreffs (in the "compatible with pie" list) doesn't work. I did get other modules To work so I do know how to properly download and install one. My question is, do I have to downgrade my android 9.0 to an older version so I get more compatibility with older modules and stuff. And if so, which android version should I get?
Thanks in advance.
When plz

T715 (wich i own unfortunately), is way too old (2016 model). It hasn't been updated to oreo what could let you think that suddenly Samsung would update it to Pie and One UI? No way that this will ever happen. However, there are also good news, ripee, a great developer, has built Lineage OS 16 (Android 9) compatible with T715. You can try it if you want, it should support substratum. And if i'm correct, you can download some themes to make the tablet appear as "One UI".
I'm using android 10 final update(they said it's an official update of one ui 2.......beta is closed) galaxy note 9 exynos.....and i format my device after last update of beta and i tried to install google sans or any other font but it shows that "app not installed" so is there anything we can do (but no root and my device is not rooted)
you can see my device version below i attachments
thanks

app not installed is common when a newer version of the same app is already installed
Same problem
Updated my note 9 yesterday to android 10 and found out i cannot install any substratum overlay doesnt matter whether it is a font or a theme... any solutions? Really hate the deafult fonts.
Need to wait for developers update thier apps. Im glad i didnt format or do a clean install so my last intalled font is still there after the update.:highfive:
