Disappointed with pricing outside google play

You may or may not have heard about this but if you live in a country where purchasing devices from google play isn't available(which is like 98% of the countries),you will have to pay a whopping 549 euros for the 16gb nexus 4(that's the pricing in Austria,dunno about the rest of the world but it will most likely be the same).I will actually have to pay more than double the original price of a phone that got 16gb non expandable storage.And if I bought it online,I will have to sacrifice local warranty.It just looks like google is doing their best to force me not to get their nexus devices.There's just a big hype about how cheap the nexus 4 is with cutting-edge hardware ignoring the fact that only people living in certain countries can get it for that price.Why can't google be fair ? Guess I might end up getting Gnote 2,at least it got a micro SD slot.

i am personally ready to be robbed by those retail stores. it sucks but then the price tag wasn't the deciding factor.

Maybe see if someone from another country can buy it from the play store and have them mail it to you? Providing the shipping cost is realistic?

I am screwed, since I live in the Netherlands. No Playstore here. Hopefully the online shops will sell against Playstore prices, or less Sucks I can't order from European Playstores btw, so much for European 'shop integration'.

Yep, I can't but devices from the play store here either.... :/ just hope its at a reasonable price or else I'll have to ask someone to buy for me... its not there on expansys yet either

I think we should wait official pricing for other countries. However, if in Italy the prices will be so high, I'll buy it online from another European country.

Well, it's worth a trip to Germany.
But I have doubts this will really happen. That would be pretty stupid of Google. Look at the price if the nexus tablet. That's also pretty cheap for what it has to offer.

I completely agree, I live in Chile and the carriers here are just thieves, the galaxy nexus retails here for around 750 USD contract free.
Gladly my brother is going to USA on december and he might get one N4 for me there at a normal price.
Does anyone knows if you can buy a nexus product online? Becouse whenever I try to go to the website says its restricted to my country, I dont know if its possible to shop online outside the US. I wouldnt care not having warranty if I pay 300 box.

Only selected countries can buy from Google Play Store online.

Thanks for trying to help but as I mentioned,I won't have warranty this way.And if I discovered any factory defects,it will be impossible to return it back.

i hope it doesn't happen in italy.... i want it to the same price! WTF!

I think that Google is selling the product below the MSRP because they expect people to post some of those saved euros into producst on the store.
It's 549€ here as well, and also in Sweden as far as i know.

Thank goodness my girlfriend lives in Germany.

It would be awesome if some XDA peeps located in Europe and have access to Playstores could help out their fellow European members

here in Israel i will be thank's full if it will Retail for 600$.

Nope,not yet but well LG said that the nexus 4 will be available in the middle east end of november so I assume Egypt is included.Nexus devices do take a long time to be available here.The galaxy nexus for example took freakin 6 months and it was exclusive to vodafone.Asus Egypt said that the nexus 7 should be available in mid october but so far nothing...

Not sure if it's all the stores, but the tmobile kiosk in princeton nj has a buy 2 get 1 on all accessories. A ggod chance to get 3 flip covers for the price of 2.

i just called my local (I'm in the Los Angeles area) corporate T-Mobile store to verify the buy 2 get 1 free sale is on. they sales guy said the promo applies to all accessories, including bluetooth headsets and the Moga game controller.

All you have to do is, register your brand new spanking Note 2 or any Samsung device they send you coupon through email.

Where to buy Nexus 5 in EU with delivery [SUGGESTIONS]

Hello!
Since not all of EU countries are Play Store "compatible" for buying devices, I know there are many of us wondering where to buy this cost-friendly powerhouse.
All I could think of is www.expansys.com. I bought all of my HTCs there because they were always cheaper than anything else in my country. But now I have some "issues", while google play price is 349eur for 16gb but expansys sell them for (cca 470eur). They don't have the price announced for 32gb (which I want) and I fear that the price will be arround 530eur.
I tried to enter play store via german IP adress but I could only order it to an adress located in Germany.
What are you suggesting us (play store incompatible countries)?

Where to buy internationally?

I love this phone and I would love to move away from my Redmi Note 4 MTK for this one. But I live in Morocco and I don't know from where to buy this phone internationally. I found it on Aliexpress but the price is high and shipping only with DHL (which is bad in my country as the package always ends up in customs when we ship with DHL and we end up paying unfair prices for customs).
Any website sells this phone for a fair price and has standard shipping? (free shipping if possible)

Im from morocco too and i don't think the phone will be available locally but if your are not in a hurry you can pre-order the phone from bangood, or you can buy directly from the official huawei tmall store through an agent(like cssbuy or superbuy ...), it's cheap but it's also a Chinese version and you have to pay the agent some extra bucks for shipping and service.

they're usual more expensive, but very thrustworthy and good communication..

I received it at my door 4 days after them getting the first stock (they use DHL Express). Usually full processing, shipping and getting through customs takes max 5 days.
I did of course get to pay customs tax, around 28 EUR (+-30 USD), I live in Barcelona.
It arrived in perfect condition and included a simple charging adapter.

Liaow is $200 more than original price. it is quiet expensive without including shipment cost and customs.

giztop probably buys from JD and marks it up by $100

Even if you live overseas, you can purchase this mobile phone at the Chinese version of jingdong.com official store.

I hope prices go down eventually. I am content with my OP7 Pro but would like something with better battery and no curved edges.

is it reliable? the only chinese I buy from is Aliexpress, and sometimes the vendors are mean/tricky. i found this one:

But i m relying on google translate to understand the page... I m a bit worried about risk of not being able to communicate with the seller or so if anything happens... and there is no shipping cost?
Also i was reading the comments on the phone on JD and soo many complaints about defects in screens. it seems they are suffering from quality check ?
