Please delete this... turns out it already has L1 support , the online reviews were saying otherwise

We all know that we can't use wifi / miracast connections simultaneously, some said with cynagenmod it can be but users had warranty like me doesn't want to rom their phones before it expires or beware of bricks.Kitkat rumors finally claimed by Sony but they didn't talk about any fix issues about this situation.I mailed sony 3 times but didn't have any answers.Does anybody know any news about it? if not, we could gather around it and start to bombard mails to Sony together and force them to fix it in 4.4 kitkat.Let's discuss this and find some solution together.
Hi everyone.
So I know that the DRM Sony has in place affects the camera. I'm also aware there's a DRM fix.
But apart from the camera, what else does the DRM affect? I haven't been able to find a list of what features/functions would be lost by unlocking the phone.
Also, if anyone has tried what features apart from the camera is restored with the DRM fix?
Thanks in advance!
Dunno about other features than the camera, but due to the way the DRM-Fix works, it should unlock everything that has to do with DRM. It doesn't contain anything camera-specific, afaik

That's great! Thanks. Was worried only the camera was restored.
Back in Xperia Z2 you couldn't connect phone to PS4 even with DRM fix.

experiencing the same issue as yours with the same playback info - internet speed is not an issue on my end
I think its on the Netflix side to support HDR on our phone.
Yes the phone has widevine L1 but I dont think its mean that the phone gets automaticly HDR, but it gets HD.
Netflix has to certificate the phone for HDR support , for now you can only see in YouTube .
What's happened?
I think it's because covid19
now it's work..

same issue here
I am using an Xiaomi Mi 9 T Pro 128GB with Xiaomi.Eu FW Version 9.12.27 and an open bootloader but no root.
The last months i was using Amazon Prime Video on the device without any problem. I streamed Content or downloaded files to watch them without online connection.
Two or three days ago, when i wanted to use it again, i could start the video, i heard the sound, but the screen went black and i couldn´t see the video. No matter if i tried to stream a video or tried to watch a downloaded video, the screen turned black. And there was no difference which video resolution i streamed or downloaded.
After a research online i found this and some other articles...
https://www.xda-developers.com/redmi-k20-k20-pro-support-amazon-prime-video-hd/
In this article you can read that Amazon "HD" will not work if you have an open bootloader. So far so good, i mean... not good... but good to know...
So what i do not understand is the fact that i can´t see any video. The device chooses HD Content and i can´t change it to SD or any other resolution. And if i download a video with the smallest video size available, it´s also not possible to watch it. The screen turns black...
And the second thing i don´t understand, why did it work before, at a time when there was no official support from amazon?
Soooo... is there any fix or workaround for that problem? Can anyone help?
thx in advance...

This only happens in beta versions of MIUI that came after December 12th. To resolve, use a stable version of MIUI or go to a beta earlier or equivalent to the 12th update.
Netflix and Amazon Prime working again in K20 Pro
I also had this issue with beta rom , solved this by installing "libemocrypto disabler" module in magisk , now netflix and amazon prime both working fine.
I'm currently on stock ROM and been thinking of switching to a custom ROM. I've been doing some research and stumbled on alot of mixed comments and regarding my questions so any insight will be very helpful.
1) Some article mentions that the widevine will be switched to L3 after unlocking the bootloader, forcing various streaming platforms to provide only SD quality. However, some users here have been posting that they are able to stream in HDR after unlocking bootloader and using a custom ROM. Is this possible and how?
2) For some stupid reason the stock rom doesn't give 90fps in games which support 90fps (for clarification, I have enabled 90hz under display and can get 90fps on brawl stars but not other games unless I turn on DC dimming and put the brightness to less than 3%). Does this issue persists on custom ROMs?
