I have a F8131 one, and the bootloader cannot be unlocked. I saw someone say there's a way to unlock bootloader without proof. Can anyone help? Thanks.

you can try to make a pre rooted mm firmware ask your own risk. I'm not getting sure if it's work
Unlock bootloader
Incidentally, I have this problem.
I have a SO-04H.
I tried different ways but to no avail.
I would ask the froum elders to find a solution or trick for this.

Hey guys!
If i had a branded Xperia Z1, couldn't I just flash a generic .ftf file to debrand it?

To get rid of some bloat? Yes. To unlock bootloader? Not if it's locked by carrier.
Type *#*#7378423#*#* and check what saying Bootloader Unlock Allowed: Yes or No. If it's Yes you can unlock it and install Custom Kernels. If it's No you cannot Unlock it, ever. This is not Sim Unlock, and to do that you have to pay for it. Anyway with Locked Bootlader you can Root, Install Recovery and Unbrand your phone just Flashing Generic Unbranded FTF via Flashtool and you are fine.

And what that supposed to mean? Give the clarifications for all possibilities is the right thing, before somebody do something stupid!
BTW I said what he have to do as well in the case of Unbranding.

Long time ago i saw a thread that a user was telling that he wasn't able to unlock the bootloader when he has using certain ftf files. It is pretty strange actually.
Try to downgrade your phone, maybe installing kk and try again mate.
Maybe this will help if you already don't know it. Take a look here. Way old that thread but maybe still guilty.

Post #2 says you have to be on stock kernel to relock your bootloader.

I don't think it's important to check that option in developer options. It still could be unlocked.
Or simply download the stock firmware for XT1077 and flash it.

With or without PC?
Hello. I wanted to root my redmi note 10s, and I unlocked the bootloader. But after reflexion, i want to cancel it, cause root will not be useful as I thought. Is it possible to relock the bootloader? And if yes, will the process erase all data ? And will everything be back like before? For example, will I be allowed to use Google One, witch doesn't work on bootloader unlocked devices ? Thanks by advance

yes, relocking the bootloader will erase all your data, to do so just use miflash and select the option clean flash and lock
