INFORMATION:

You can do two things on stock 8.1 version
1.download Chinese STOCK and flash PIE from TWRP (yes its should work)
2. Use official ROM put into phone internal memory and flash from stock.update zip as usual(leads to system corrupted message)ignore it.

If I encrypt my device, will TWRP will be able to decrypt it?
Yes, the updated version of TWRP now able to decrypt the encrypted partitions. The Stock International ROM use to encrypt data by default(don't know about Chinese) now 8.1 OREO And 9.0 PIE ROMs encrypted data can be decrypted.
How am I supposed to root?
You can flash magisk afaik for OREO ROM. It can be rooted. But there is no way till now you can root Stock PIE AND OMNI pie. So keep an eye on OMNI thread for anything related to ROOT. Don't bother to ask @vache too as Root isn't possible for now. It isn't working.

Installed on a5h. For whatever reasons installation of software seems slower, does not seem to install root properly, has no soft reboot to download or bootloader. Looks and feels very good.

Boot time is very very low
The other twrp recovery by ashtx (version 3.0.2.1) does not support rebooting to recovery using 3rd party apps or via the recovery option available under power options, the phone gets into a loop and doesn't boot, need to flash back recovery using odin to get it to boot.
Has anyone seem this behaviour in this twrp as well?
Is there any chance this can be ported to the Note 3? We have a lot of AROMA Installer ROMs, but I'd like to be able to stay on 3.1.0-0, if at all possible. Thanks!

I'm in love with A12 and Evolution x but i cant use this as Daily, i removed che lower navigation bar but decided to put It back, now i don't have swype to go back anymore, and if i enable navigation with 3 buttons nothing changes

Oh I apologize.
Yes, sideloading the magisk zip through recovery via adb will work.
Make sure to use a working recovery though. I would recommend just using the official LOS one if you aren't sure.

I have also seem to be unable to flash magisk. After flashing it always brings me to recovery and saying I need to factory wipe the device.
The commands I used:
Fastboot flash boot_ab *bootimg.img*
Fastboot flash boot_a *bootimg.img*
Fastboot flash boot_b *bootimg.img*
Fastboot flash boot *bootimg.img*

Not many, basically crDroid and another I don't recall ATM.
I backed up to PC with ADB.
To tell the truth, after losing touch, there wasn't much progress to be made and it made me really wary of changing -- the device is my daily driver and needed for work.
So I went with Xiaomi.eu (V14.0.2.0.TKFMIXM), debloated it and that was it...
After that and for a while, I stuck with crDroid recovery (non-touch, whole button: recovery-crDroidAndroid-13.0-20221108-sweet-v9.0.img); it took some time to even find this recovery, test it and find it was working.

You're right. I absolutely need a fully working recovery to quickly restore the device if anything goes awry. Or cleanup Magisk modules. Or backup, if I don't have a PC nearby. But mostly because I intend to replace Xiaomi.eu when the time is right...

After installation and boot, TWRP will fail to encrypt /data partition. It's completely normal because our TWRP doesn't support encryption right now. I'll try to fix it.
If first boot looks like it stucked, just hard reset(power + vol up) and let it boot. It should boot without a problem.

Hello @OLRIccc , I have installed it and works good, but I have tried later install with twrp "MindTheGapps-11.0.0-arm64-20220217_100228" and doesn't works.
I have tried first with "arm" but it tell me my dispositive is arm64, is strange.

MindtheGapps has some problems with our rom. I recommend using NikGapps. It worked with me without a problem.

Thank you so much, I have formatted the phone and selected and installed at the same time lineage-18.1-20230605-UNOFFICIAL-m8qlul.zip and NikGapps-core-arm64-11-20230609-signed.zip
Now it works!, really looking forward to seeing new android versions for this phone on the future
Hello, I like sometimes enable mobile hotspot to share internet(mobile data) to another dispositives via wifi or usb, but not works, can you try if it works in your mobile?

Yes it's not working, even with old oreo build. I applied some fixes but there is still some problems i need to fix. I'm trying to reach the latest android version instead of bug fixes right now. But i managed to boot android 12 today so i'm going to stay with 12 and try to fix all bugs, including tethering and sound recording.

wow, I love Android 12, this version is enough, not necessary android 13, I'll be here pending to help you and test new things when you release new updates on the future
Yeah. Android 13 has some issues with legacy devices. Staying with 12 is a better idea right now. I'll release it when i manage to fix the camera.
Thanks for your support btw. Knowing that someone is using my roms makes me more motivated.
