Installation Instructions
Coming from JB
1. You must be rooted!
2. You must have a custom recovery installed.
3. Wipe your device.
4. Flash the ROM zip, it will appear an error, warning that all data will be wiped due different partition table.
5. Reflash the ROM zip, it will continue now.
6. Flash the GAPPS.
7. Reboot. (It can take up to 5 min.)
8. Enjoy

Since this is an alpha project, the main suggestion is a clean flash. No dirty flashing (as in, do the /system format and every other wipe) to make sure whatever bug you report is indeed a bug and not a user-made error due to dirty flashing. That's it. Flash.
I wish I could test for you, OP, but right now I need the phone working and can't risk having to perhaps ODIN due to this project's actual alpha nature. I'm still grateful for your efforts! :highfive:

Can't wait to try this. I just use my Vibrant as a music player so I'm happy to flash away, and pretty much need nothing but functional UI and headphone output I love that of all the 5.0 roms we're getting Omnirom! :victory:

On TWRP I get error 7 but I cant find the assert line I have to delete in the updater script... Any suggestions ?

me too, i had the same trouble error 7

well i tested this rom .. finally with no gapps so this is good but i found that the camera lags a bit and even using the flash the pic becomes dark .. there is no radio we can not choose different option in network like 3g only and 2g only etc and the keyboard i don't know if it suggests words like z2 one.. that's all but i love it it takes only 520 mb on ram to run smoothly ! hope this rom becomes better in upcoming updates..

if you mean restoring the super-vivid mode and x-realty engine, unfortunately its for stock only but you can use try kcal for aosp and please report back if its working

Hello there, thanks for the ROM, it is very smooth and fast. I´m having a problem with my wifi passwords, everytime i restart my phone, it forgets all of the passwords previously saved... Does anyones has this problem too?

It may be TWRP's problem because it's not mounting data. Try changing the /data filesystem to ext3 and then back to ext4

In the meantime, I restored the aicp backup. The recovery I used the twrp latest version. This could be the cause of the fc

the status bar icon does not change because of the resolution of the device, but I'm working on it.
And about doing with a newer version of the android, I'm also working on it, but I'm trying to troubleshoot, I'm new to this subject and this version was just a test so I can carry the real version, which would be the MIUI 8 pro android 6.0, maybe in the future until MIUI 9, who knows .. thanks for downloading (sorry my bad English, kkk)

NOTES FOR FLASHING PIE FOR OMNI(Its not there now)​
You can do two things on stock 8.1 version​
1.download Chinese STOCK and flash PIE from TWRP (yes its should work)
2. Use official ROM put into phone internal memory and flash from stock.update zip as usual(leads to system corrupted message)ignore it.

If I encrypt my device, will TWRP will be able to decrypt it?
Yes, the updated version of TWRP now able to decrypt the encrypted partitions. The Stock International ROM use to encrypt data by default(don't know about Chinese) now 8.1 OREO And 9.0 PIE ROMs encrypted data can be decrypted.
How am I supposed to root?
You can flash magisk afaik for OREO ROM. It can be rooted. But there is no way till now you can root Stock PIE AND OMNI pie. So keep an eye on OMNI thread for anything related to ROOT. Don't bother to ask @vache too as Root isn't possible for now. It isn't working.
