RE:make a custom kernel for camera purple tint and red
any pro here can make a custom kernel by tweaking the camera code inside
cuz many people here having a problem where the camera have purple tint and red tint when i low light
i think many people will highly appreciate if u guys can fix it by custom kernel.
It's almost impossible... I think you already saw my posts and progress on the other thread and you can see there that whenever I fix something another one arises. The camera firmware is closed source and there's no way of modifying it directly except HTC. Modifying the driver alone is not enough...
Hey guys, so I decrypted my device and rooted it as well using CF-Auto root. Everything is working buttery smooth except I noticed something with the camera. Seems to catch a weird tint when I focus on certain things. See pic attached. Anyone else experiencing thi
It looks is out of white balance, try manual white balance instead of auto.
I uploaded a quick white balance adjust of the pic on photoshop just as an example.
Hey guys,
i could not find anything related to this problem in the forum & via google..
Please look at the following two pictures, is this a hardware problem? Or is the Sony Camera this "bad"?
(i had to cut the images, sry)
Taken with the Z3C (Android 5.0.1, stock ROM)

Why the hell is the color brown completely red in the Xperia photo? In automatic mode as well as in manual. I really tried to "fix" this red tint in Lightroom, thought it could be an whitebalance issue.. but it isn't?
I think it's quite heavy.. the persons in the photo don't have any red tint in reality - the Xperia picture looks absolutely horrible imho.
Thanks guys & sry for my bad english :crying:
EDIT:
another example, took a picture with my Nikon where you see my hand & see corresponding screen of my z3c..

You're not the only one.

I got my Z3C 2 weeks ago and I've noticed the same problem in my phone as well. Same camera as the Z3 after all. Heard and read around the web that it is better to take photos in the manual mode where you can adjust the White Balance to bring the image as close as possible to the real colour of it.
Hi, is it just me or do photos (especially landscape and/or ones of foliage) have a yellow tinge or cast to them? is there any fix for this, I have tried various various 3rd party camera apps and though some fix the blurry right side of some photos non fix the yellow cast...

Hello All
Lately iam getting a black crush issue on my note 8(exynos) as shown in the image (downloaded from google but same issue)
Iam on the latest may update, tried the screen balance app which helped many pixel 2 users to rectify the same issue.
Kindly help.
Google - "black crush" screen issue refers to various dark shades displayed inaccurately. As a result, dark sections of videos or images come up with blocks or black, pixelated, or grainy, which is quite the opposite of what you'd expect from a top-notch, high-resolution display. The visuals rendered with this "black crush" issue are with significantly less detail, like a file that's lost most of its quality after heavy compression.
Simply put, rather than showing details, screens affected by this issue will show blocks of pixelated or black images in dark sections
I am runnng the latest update on my N950N and I don't have any black crush or color bleeding on my display...
I changed the versions from pie to oreo to custom roms, it still is with black crush and color banding.
Google says it is due to software color calibration, issue is it happens when iam below below ~40%battery in dark environment.
Screen balance app doesn't help , unfortunately.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanksss
