Using a LG k20 plus mp260 model phone. Has "ARMv7 processor rev 4 (v7l)". Tutorial to install xposed gives the options of three installers ARM or ARM64 or x86. Which Xposed will work with LG k20 plus mp260?

I have a x98Pro, it runs Android 5.1 64bit, but its not ARM, its got a Intel Atom Z8500 Cherry Trail X5.
Am I correct in thinking there is currently no way to install xposed on this rom? as I can't get the ARM64 builds to flash via TWRP (kinda expected)..but is there a way to manually get the required files on the tablet? or is it just not compatible with this architecture atall?
Thanks for any help

Try the Intel x86 version of Xposed by rovo89. ARM versions won't install on a Intel architecture. If the Intel version doesn't work, there is currently no Xposed available for your device.

Ok, I thought as much, thank you for getting back to me and letting me know.

I like to try this as well, waiting for answer. Thanks
I tested it just like on the other topic I got the cell phone identified as galaxy note 7, aida 64 said that the vulkan API was there but the system gave preference to OpenGL 3.2 causing the vulkan to be ignored

Will the zip file that is purposed for mido work on markw?
As yet we have not appropriate Xposed Framework for Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU, 88.2 version doesn't work in mobile phones with 835 CPU. Samsung Note 8 sold in China and Hongkong are masive, I eager to have a new version of Xposed framwork that can work properly for 835 CPU.
its nothing to do with the processor. its API.

Thanks for your instruction. Anyway, I have to wait for a new version of Xposed, right?
Yes! API. For 835 CPU phones, Android 7.0 can use Xposed Framework, but 7.1 can not.
So, how about the latest version 88.2 r5?
hope
My note8 is sold in China 835u. Can't use the xposed. Flashed the framework, it stuck at the Sumsung logo.I wish someone make a framework can use on my phone.I shall be very grateful.

You don't say which version of the zip you tried, arm or arm64.
Maybe try the installer below. It does a good job of detecting architecture, root method, etc.

Xposed Framework [UNITY]
Moto G5 Plus XT1687, halogenOS ROM, microG (NoGApps), MultiROM, XDA Legacy

I'm going to log everything that I do with my Mi Pad 4 to help others. This is the thread.
My plan
A) This
1) unlock it by xiaomi (? 360 hours waiting)
2) flash twrp
3) flash magisk
4) reboot
My plan is to follow this process.
Device: Xiaomi MI PAD 4 - 3GB RAM, 32GB, MicroSD, 1920x1080 Tablet
(Just picked it up)
Hope this doesnt auto-merge. Expect it will.
Wondering how to do this:
"unlock it by xiaomi" ... I will search the Mi Pad 4 forums
I will be figuring out which rooting method is best for my device.

Android Learning.
Downloaded Xiaomi drivers for Xiaomi

Connect Mi Pad 4 to Windows 10.
Select - Transfer files
(add xiaomi.connect.to.pc.jpg)
Open File Manager on Android.
Select the .apk file

There is an XDA app (sideload .apk) with the Xposed framework.. You need to be rooted to install this framework.
Q: Can you use the Xposed framework with a custom ROM .... or is Xposed a custom ROM. Do some ROMS and not others support the Xposed framework ?
Consider disabling Bluetooth for better battery.

I think it's the Bluetooth that's draining... At least on mine. After I disable I can have it off for days and days and only drain a few percent .

It depends on your phone and the OS ROM it's running, but I think most normal, non-potato phones are on arm64-v8a these days. armeabi is for super-old devices, armeabi-v7a is for 32-bit devices, arm64-v8a is for 64-bit devices.
v8a devices can run v7a apks.

I installed Nexus Stock for Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 for my son's tablet and it works like a charm. Finally something simple and working out of the box without a hassle (and error 7 from twrp).
