My phone has the stock fastboot version (the one that has a MIX on the filename) and an unlocked bootloader. I have been able to flash recovery, but as soon as I flash any AOSP or Lineage based ROM, plus gapps and Magisk (or not) and reboot, the phone won't complete boot at all. It stays in the MI logo and then a black screen. After that, it won't allow me to boot into TWRP, only fastboot, so I have to reflash stock via fastboot and start over again. I tried flashing the Chinese fastboot ROM and start from there, it didn't change the results. I'm following the instructions from each developer, tried different AOSP ROMs, none work. What could be happening?

To all experts,
I try to flash my Mi note pro since days without success. I have unlocked my bootloader, installed TWRP. First problem is, I'm not able to flash every TWRP recovery. I managed only the TWRP from cofface. The version from Ivan didn't work for me. I made it from my Linux laptop with fastboot. The main problem is, that I can only flash Xiaomi.eu ROMs. Ivans ROMs or the lineageis testrom ends that the phone starts with the mi logo and after seconds, it turns of.
Need ur support for that. Thx.
Mi 9T Pro 64 GB Global (MIUI Global 11.0.1 QFKMIXM) with Bootloader Unlocked
I keep running into issue when I install a ROM where one of two things happens every time I try...
I lose TWRP and the system boots directly to Fastboot (seems to happen with MiUI based roms)
I can re-push TWRP via ADB/FastbootTrying to flash any ROMs at this point will result in Error 7 (phone is wrong model)I cannot seem to figure out why or what to do about it. Going back to stock with MiFlash is the only thing I can get to work
I keep TWRP and the system either boot loops or boot directly to TWRP (happens with AOSP Roms)
When this happens it also scrambles sdcard and gives Unable to Wipe FBE Drive when trying to wipeThe only solution I've found to recover is use MiFlash to return to stock and then go through the unlock process again.
I have been trying to follow the ROM dev instructions, which tend to all go somewhat like:
Reboot to TWRP
Wipe Data & Cache/Dalvik (and sometimes System when AOSP)
Flash MIUI 11 vendor/firmware for your device variant (I am guessing this is where I am screwing up, but not sure how...I have also tried starting fulling stock w/OTA updates to see if it helps)
Flash the ROM
Reboot to System
I think this may be an issue of missing something simple, like the wrong FW/Vendor files, but I cannot figure it out exactly what I should be doing.
My goal is to try EvoX and LinageOS; however, at this point I have tried several others and would be happy if I could get any non-factory version working.
Mi device Mi 9T pro . After Flashing Rom my devices is bricked, not turned on. how can i solve this problem .
N.B Unfortunately i Flashed my device with Mi 9T rom.
So.... I was rooting my k20 pro few days ago but TWRP recovery wasn't flashing, it doesn't go to recovery mode after command boot command and shows success on PC. I was able to switch on my device and can still see stock recovery there. Someone told me to flash vbmeta.IMG and when I flashed (after flashing TWRP recovery), screen gone blank and phone was stuck on fastboot mode. So I flashed fastboot rom and that was Mi9T Pro global 11.0.4.0, there was no download links of K20 Pro Fastboot rom. Now it's draining battery so fast, heating and slow on screen recording on games. Now I've downloaded K20 Pro global fastboot rom (India) and can I flash it now just putting my phone on fastboot mode? And it's miui 11.0.4.0 global and can I flash miui 11.0.6.0 global (India)?
Sorry for bad English and long post
Thank-you

You can get all the fastboot ROMs from here.
https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/supported/miui/
Search for raphael if you have a Chinese phone.
Search for raphaelin if you have an Indian phone.
MIUI will automatically restore stock recovery, flashing Magisk will stop this happening.
After flashing TWRP in fastboot you need to boot directly into TWRP.
Still in fastboot type
Code:
fastboot reboot
When the phone turns off, quickly press and hold volume up until it boots into TWRP.
Now you can install Magisk, which will prevent stock recovery being restored.
Fastboot Rom Update

Download the latest India fastboot ROM from here
https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/raphaelin/
Use this guide to flash the ROM
https://c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=2
You need to view this page in desktop mode, if viewing on a mobile.
In step 5 of the guide, make sure you change the flash option to 'clean all' before hitting the flash button. If you don't change this, you will lock the bootloader.
After flashing, boot into MIUI at least once before flashing anything else.
Get the latest TWRP from here and flash it.

After flashing TWRP, use the steps in my earlier post to install Magisk.
Get the latest Magisk from here

Hi!
I have an MI 8 with chinese stock rom. I tried many times to install a custom recovery but it's impossible. After reboot from flashing custom rom on fastboot mode with fastboot commands, still the stock recovery.
I tried to use XiaomitoolV2 as well, but with no success.
I'have my bootloader unlocked (lock open) One time I had to contact someone to unbrick my phone. He did the unbrick with some special account.
Any idea or what to do???
MIUI version > 12.5.1.0 Stable
Thanks in advance!!!
I was follow guide from here and working fine..
Did you try to flash the official Fox Recovery img for Mi 8 ? I have Mi 8 with Xiaomi EU ROM and I had flashed the TWRP recovery before and recently I switched from TWRP to Fox Recovery.

flashing custom rom on fastboot mode with fastboot commands.
before reboot hold Volume Up button.
My device is a cn ver.
I install pixel experience before this.
The devices loop at the mi logo even I try to flash stock ROM from global and cn.
The flash tool say already successful and sometimes devices show the MIX logo but don't know why still boot looping after waiting.
I have already tried to use the latest SDK platform tools and mi flash tool with the driver install.
I also try to install the TWRP from lineage, 3rd party and official but none of its work all still lead to a loop.
No idea what's wrong with it.
