similar issue.
Constant boot loop, cannot turn it off. Can access boot options, even using the shutdown from that menu fails and returns to boot loop.
The notification led is on at max brightness, not flashing, just on. Won't turn off.
I DID manage to get to Odin (holding Vol Up, Home, Power, does not work every time), was able to successfully flash the stock firmware. (Which I was already on, Verizon Note 5 so no custom roms for me), didn't help. Once it finished right back to infinite boot loop, with no recovery mode or ability to turn it off.

So you can't get into recovery mode while the phone is on?
The only way is to (re-)boot.
Recovery mode requires: the (file)system is not in normal use by apps or user.
It's like replacing the sparks at the engine of your car. It's not possible while engine is running and the engine bonnet is closed.
turn the phone off wait for it to vibrate or the LED's to go go off. Then Hold Vol Up + Home Button +Power all at the same time when you see the boot screen (black and white text saying Samsung Galaxy S I9000) let go of power and keep holding Volume and Home and it should boot into recover mode.
Be care full if you hold the home button to long it selects reboot device and you have to do the above again.
Alright. Tanks! I didn't now what boot in to recovery mode was, but now i now, it's just starting the phone in recovery mode.
My Samsung galaxy s7 did and update and now it won't turn on. I tried reset but all that shows up is a small blue recovery booting···
Which flashes on no matter how long I hold on to home and vol. Up
Hello,
this is my first post on here and I am sorry for it being a "Help me" one.
So yesterday I found my S4 Active again and I remembered it having problems booting up and being stuck in a boot loop. So I powered it on and it worked fine (exept for the lower halve of the touch screen not working, but I think that's another Problem). So I took out the battery. A couple of hours later I tried turning it on again, but this time I had the same Boot loop. When I insert the battery nothing happens (so no stuck Power Button). If I then press the power button it turns on. After the Samsung Logo it goes black for a while but the Backlight is on. After this it shuts down then turns on again but only for a short Moment (no Samsung Logo visible but it vibrates). Then it turns off again and turns on again and flashes the Samsung logo and so on. If I try to Boot into Recovery mode, sometimes it enters Recovery for a second and then turns off and on again but most of the time it just turns of after the Samsung logo and shows the same behaviour as described above.
I am able to enter Download Mode though. If I go into it and press down (to Abort Download Mode) it goes into Boot loop. If I press volume up I am able to flash through Odin ( I did this to flash the stock Rom 5.0.1 again, but it did not help at all). I also noticed that if I attach the phone via usb to the computer but no battery is inserted, the Backlight flashes every 2 seconds or so.
So does this look like a Hardware defect or is there any hope for me.
Thanks
My Redmi Note 4X doesn't start now. It just keeps on vibrating and then restart itself. It doesn't even show the MIUI Logo. I can't even boot into Recovery (because it restarts) any fix or workaround about this?
Its just black screen. And only vibrates every time it shuts down. And it is looping. Vibrate > Black Screen (NO MIUI) > Vibrate > Repeat
Even I tried VOLUME DOWN + POWER BUTTON (FASTBOOT) and VOLUME UP + POWER BUTTON (RECOVERY) nothing happens.
Press power+volume button for more than 10sec and your device will boot into fastboot . Then you can flash your device using MiFlash Tool.
Like I said I can’t boot to FastBoot neither Recovery because it just keeps on blackscreen and vibrates once and will restart. And it will repeat until the battery is out.
Just relaxed the phone for 1 and 2 hour then try to boot on fastboot mod.(not while charging)
If I would do what you said, I will need to let the battery drain first. But, when I open it again using the FastBoot/Recovery method, it will just repeat. The problem will still appear.
Can anyone help me Fix my note 9? i was trying to flash magisk bootloop protector and it cause a weird loop in twrp that would give me like 30 seconds before it restarted. i tried to reflash twrp recovery and now it is stuck looping at the knox screen with no access to twrp, download mode and it also isnt being recognized in Odin (probably because it has a literal 1 second loop). its an N960F/D Exynos version. i'd rather not get it sent away if possible, so any help would be greatly appreciated
Edit: got to download mode by connecting to PC and in between powering on, pressed only bixby + vol down button and ended in DL mode. i Guess i was doing a power + vol down + bixby combo or maybe wasnt timed correctly to get it in DL mode
Hi, yesterday my phone goes into boot loop suddenly. By then I still could access recovery mode. I tried to wipe cache and reboot, but it's still stuck in boot loop.
So I flashed original firmware in order to fixed the boot loop ( I've never installed custom rom) and it says succeeded in Odin then the phone restarted, but stuck in Galaxy Note logo. I manually restart the phone and it goes to "Installing System Update" but there are no progress and the animation didn't move. I left it for about half hour and then manually restart again and still stuck in Galaxy Note logo.
By this time, I couldn't access recovery anymore. Pressing vol up + bixby + power do nothing. I could access download mode just fine.
Any suggestion on how to fix my phone ? I'm still in original firmware and have not enabled debugging mode in developer settings
