Hello,
I've just got my Mi 9T Pro, and I've wanted to unlock it (I know I'll have to wait at least 24h, most likely 7days) And this is what I get:
I don't speak Chinese, so I don't know what does it mean..

I've unlocked Xiaomi phones in the past.. Redmi Note 3, mi5, Mi Mix,.. Everything went smooth on those..
Edit:
I don't know why the photo is not showing, here is the link:

Try a different version of the Miunlock. Some said an older version worked better.

nope, it's not working.. I've managed to translate the image:
This phone was locked by phone number: 619 629 and it cannot be unlcoked.
F*** GEARBEST!
It should have been originally sealed box (it was obviously sealed by them after doing god knows what)..
Probably your phone got cloned IMEI

So that's an obvious red flag for gearbest I'd say. Did you pay with PayPal?
Try to contact seller... Other than that, I believe edl could solve your problem.
Yea my old mi 5 from buyingeek came with fake rom but at least was able to unlock , sorry to hear you got screwed.

Yep, thank God I did!
I've already contacted the Gearbest, they are "solving" the issue. Funny thing is, that I've brought OnePlus 7 Pro, this year from them.. for mad cheep I think with a coupon it was around 550€.. 8gb/256gb variant.. It was said that it is an international version.. So I've played dumb.
I've contacted the OnePlus and told them that the phone was a bday gift, and I just want to know how much of warranty do I have for it.. They then said to me that the phone is Chinese version, and that originally it runs HydrogenOS.. What I've done is contact them, told them they f** me over, they then offered a 150€ back, witch I took.
Later on I've brought a Mi 9T for my friend (he had Redmi note 3 pro until that point) the phone came originally boxed.. And since I saw that there is a 81hz refresh mod for Mi 9T series.. I've said to myself ah well fu** it, I'll sell my OP7 Pro and get Mi 9T, unlock it, flash Pixel Experience or Paranoidandroid and later on OxygenOS + 81hz mod and basically have the same experience with probably better camera (I've had Poco last year and man that phone had some good photos with gcam) and be happy, I could live with worse vibration motor.. So I've gotten the Mi 9T Pro for 320€.. And now.. here we go again.
I know I could probably fix it with EDL, and I probably will... but why should I? It's their mistake, and they should refund me in some way.. And I'm not sending the phone back, as I've already brought and installed screen protectors and some cases, so that was what, around 30ish € more.. All in all the device is great and I love it, the screen, the size, cameras.. but man I miss so much notifications on MIUI and the autobrightens is really bad, but I knew this things before buying, So I've brought the phone with the intention to unlock it and install a custom software on it.

no clue, and look at the android robot, what is that sign below it?
You should never show your Imei online but it looks like a bad box but the firmware seems legit. But then again those Chinese are good!
Looks like a clone to me. The sticker under the battery and the Chinese letters in the recovery are dead giveaways.
It says on the box that its not real Note 4.
Note4 is SM-910
This is SM-9100 !
Judging by these pics and my good eyes and experience with chinese clones, thats a genuine Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910F, but the package is a generic one. The phone seems to have some manufacture fault or its bad refurbished: reason of why it doesn't have S/N. a proper description of your problem would be nice for us since I can't understand what problems are you having now other than missing S/N or a chinese recovery. You even have signal and mobile data connection... i thought (by the title, before reading the article) that your phone had missing parts ("mutilated").

what do you mean missing s/n?i
see one in the picture, am I missing something?
I agree though, thorough description of issues needed.
maybe it's a special developer device running some special firmware? rip it and up it for all to enjoy! hahaha :/

the only thing I saw that was "off"upon first glance was the paper says 16gb, but device is 32gb..
I hope whatever issue you are having gets worked out good luck
Why does it say it's 1800mAh battery? Isn't Note 4 supposed to have a 3220mAh one?
Sent from my eXposed C6603
seems to be a legit note 4 variant from china that has 16 GB flash and probably dual sim
check this youtube video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ng-gxk8_Cbk
the android firmware info shows the european firmware on it. probably someone took the piss cheap note 4 china variant and flashed european firmware on it to sell it to you
The phone in the picture is a N910F as it shows on the sticker under battery, phone looks legit and the screen looks like AMOLED.
The phone in the picture is not dual-sim, but the box is for N9100 aka Note 4 Duos (dual-sim) which i think is the only NOTE 4 version with 16gb internal.
Run some benchmarking tests and posts the results here. If is legit, you can go ahead and download and flash the latest N910F ROM and flash it through odin. This should get rid of all the Chinese words in recovery.

That's not 1800 mAh, it's 1800 mA charging current.
Does the box say its 16gb??
It seems to be very legitimate for me.... try to find the new rom for the n910f and put it through odin
I have returned this device a long time ago, after I posted the pics... can't you all see the scratches on the bezel? It has clearly been "tampered" with... and the box does not correspond to the actual item inside. That is my point. I am not saying it is FAKE. I have given a review on the seller on amazon to beware of the particular seller, and amazon somehow deleted it. They are protecting the seller, not the buyers...
edit:
Yes the phone connects to H+, but not on LTE even when I'm outside...
Hey guys,
My Mi3w's screen recently shattered, and the touch stopped working too.
Should I repair the screen? What would the cost be?
Or should I try to sell it, and buy a new phone, maybe a Redmi 3? (not the Note 3)
Opinions?
I live in India btw
I guess screen would cost you around 4-5k just a guess.. So if I were you.. I will definitely go for redmi note 3..
Sent from my MI 3W using XDA-Developers mobile app
Agreed with @sidhg. that should be around 4-5K+tax
At ebay india 1500₹ only. Buy it.
If you really love your Mi3 and would want to continue using it then you should just buy a cheap screen from ebay which will cost around 1500 bucks. Thats what I did. Screen is ok but not the same quality as the original one. No Gorilla Glass.
If money is not a concern then you can give it to the service center and they'll replace it with original screen for >5000 bucks.
I you want to move on from Mi3 then the best choice is Redmi Note 3 right now. Cheap and best.
I am having Mi3 for 2 years now! And if I were you, I would have got the screen replaced! This phone never tires out! It goes on and on and on! Two years now, still it is one of the few phones having an official MiUi update that is based on Marshmallow! Two years now, this baby is holding on to any thing you through on it and holds on with ease!
This maybe my love for this phone talking but still I wouldn't give it away like that!
It's cost 500 Chinese yuan in official service in Shanghai.
if you are in delhi , go to gaffar market , get it replaced for 1800 Rs Max.
I made a mistake once for geting it replaced via SC.
Well the one im using from there , works as good as original.
Put a Good temper , try unbreakable ones post replacement.
Mi3 has one good part that is screen which is quite fragile

But you're right, this is a horrible decission, my phone is broken and I've been waiting for the OP5 midnight black to come back in stock for 2 weeks, only because of this useless partnership. I hope they sell very poorly.

It's a nice idea. I like it very much.
This is crap! Another excuse by OnePlus to do virtually nothing and charge you more money. It's no wonder you can find this phone on sale ($416.00 at Gearbest with OP5SAVER code). From the 3->3T->5, improvements have been minimal turning Never Settle into Always Settle.
I ordered a grey OP5 just before the hype of the announcement (still waiting for it to be delivered), but I quite like the new coloured button design. I'n not too sure about the back, but then I always use a case anyway.
OnePlus (More likely Carl Pei) really are becoming far too pretentious, you're a small company not a niche company. Stick to what's important and stop getting sidetracked with pointless attention seeking ventures.

You weren't relading the pre-release announcements very closely then. A OnePlus 5T wouldn't be limited edition, would it? The speculation from tech writers was not only 100% that it would be something like this but the specific company OnePlus was in partnership with was known weeks ago.

5T? For what?
OP5 is about 3 months old and already has 2 months old security patch on OOS. They would support 2 flagships even more slowly. I can see a lot of potential in this phone, so I hope Oneplus is smart enough to focus on this one atm.
tell that designer stop smoking cheap weed
I was expecting a complete new color, not the midnight black OP5s sent to warranty and refurbished with colored buttons
Seriously? Oneplus wants to walk on a fashion catwalk or chasing make their phones as a fashion accessory? In this has become OnePlus?

I suggest then you ask yourself, "Why are they willing to charge Europeans so much more?" Go to the bottom of the page and select USD for currency and you will see the price difference. If the US version supports your bands used in Europe, I would convert some € to $ and buy the US version. That is if you still want to do business with them.
There's a new update our for the 5G variant, 9.5.7
It adds very little and quite frankly is a bit of a disgrace - this "update" is still the June path level and to make matters worse the feature disparity between the 4G & 5G is widening!

Which do you think is the majority device? Yeah so that's the one they'll dev for first. That's the risk of getting into technology at launch, exactly why I didn't bother with the 5g version, wait until it's properly bedded in and the norm.

Apparently there's an ongoing issue with the patch they were going to release, hence the delay. If it was me, I'd be happier with a working phone than an updated, mebbe insecure, mebbe glitchy phone. They have said the patch will be coming soon, presumably to bring it to parity with the 4G models.

I told them the phone wasn't fit for purpose as advertised features still didn't work properly, and the continued lack of updates made me question whether they ever would.
OnePlus' silence when it comes to answering queries or support tickets about the 5G is inexcusable - they clearly aren't interested in this phone variant, and I doubt it will ever gain parity with the (lesser) 4G variant.
I'm either going to get a Note 10 or Mate 30 when they're available - I know the Note 10 can do 5G and I almost guarantee that the Mate 30 will too!
How can you go to 60Hz after using 90Hz? I went to a local phone shop to see the Note 10(+), but just because of its 60Hz screen I wouldn't buy it. Period. It just feels sluggish and laggy. All the animations feel as if they are capped because of the 60Hz display.

Now notice on the box it says Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G...
But, every other box pic I can see online just says S21 Ultra 5G and doesn't say Galaxy?
Is this Samsung's new box design? Or could this be a fake? See below for all the other boxes I have seen online:
Let me know your thoughts before I get scammed...
Thank you
If it seems too good to be true it prolly is.
Always buy from trusted sellers only...
I just checked my box, it does NOT have Galaxy on it. I think that printer is legit. You can always ask them to take a picture with the sale ID on it to prove they have it.
I won't spend 1K+ $ over a phone that I suspect (even for a tiny bit) to be fake, I'd rather wait for another shot.
Ask the seller for the imei codes etc. Should be on the back of the phone box. Fill those in and you will know if tbe phone is legit.
In my opinion, if you're nervous, then don't get it. It's too risky.
Seller has sent receipt and pic of IMEI serial etc... Seems real...
Once before I bought a Galaxy phone, looks like it, checked the IMEI number and it checked out. Got home and tried to root it and no. After checking the settings confirmed that it was a fake. You have had second thoughts from the beginning so don't do it. 1000+ USD is not worth going through the trouble for a possibility. The moment you had second thoughts, that needs to be a definite no.
I agree, it's too much money to be unsure. Also, if you have any issues with it, you could have problems getting warranty on it. For new, go with a reputable seller.

I think you're right. Good spot
The chinese communist party has no ethics and hate rape the world... and a lot of their own people.
If have haven't already noticed. That even applies to human organs there; genocide plus illegal organ harvesting, how charming.
They would allow fake phones without a second thought most likely with chipset embedded spyware. The CCP is probably sponsoring these... no joke.
Here's a vid about a chinese fake complete with sim card:

What you're seeing is actually the cutout for the "peelable" screen protector. If it's a fake, it already looks like an elaborate fake and I doubt they forgot about how the front lens looks like.
