Thread moved to Q&A.
Theres nothing we can do, your phone has 3 button recovery mode disabled, you need to bring it back to shop/repair centre for them to fix it.
Hey I entered into a SAFE MODE where all the applications were gone.
This happened to me after a sudden reboot by the system.
Please throw light on how to enter this mode and how it works !!!
I don't think there is such a mode, unless... your /data/ is somehow gone?
There was such a mode on GB, and probably still is on ICS.
Dr.Ketan said you could enter the safe mode by either frequently tapping the menu button or keeping it pressed (can't remember which now) while your Note is booting.

Thanks Vijai but I could not make it work.

Anyone else successful with this ??

SO here's the long story short :
I installed minisense 4 rom on my mini.then tried to install cyanmobile X.for doing the latter I wiped data + cache + dalvik cache. then rebooted the system forgetting to recover the minisense 4 back from the nandroid backup I did. now my phone's bricked. I can't get into downloading mode (nothing happens if I press vol down + home +power ). I presses vol up + down + hom+ power . that installed the drivers...and odin detects is as "Android" not GT-S5570. I have found similar threads but nothing has worked so far. I still haven't used the USB jig method yet though..... Please help me out here!! :crying:
by the way I needed to recover minisense 4 because the installation of the cyanmobile X (update-CyanMobile-eXperience-Blade-20120721-Release.zip) didn't install...gave a status 7 (which was quite weird)
Thanks in advance!

Okay I will repost this in the Q/A section. I dunno how to delete this thread ..... and my phone's not On in the first place..it's as if there isn't abattery in it.
If your warranty is still valid, bring it to samsung service center and don't mention anything about rooting, flashing, custom roms... if not, usb jig might work, but can't promise. And don't post same thing again, just request thread moving
okay thanks.... warranty is over (by just one month) ...I am really stuck I guess...thanks for helping thought :fingers-crossed:

So I have tried multiple different ways to root my Note 8 SM-N950U. I've used SamFail with the different versions and before I started the process I forgot to enable developer mode, I know i know dumb freakin decision. I cant get my Note 8 to boot to anything whether it be with a rooted image or the original stock firmware. I need to know if there is anything I could do before I do a insurance claim on the device? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you press volume up bixby and power button for a couple second and factory reset?
I haven’t used the volume up button but I’ve down the volume down button along with the other buttons. Also the Samsung smart switch app doesn’t recognize the device, it says it’s unsupprted
Push all 4 of the buttons, volume up, volume down, bixby and the power button... For 10 seconds.... Then it'll boot up... Into another screen... Wait until it says volume up/volume down,.... Etc... Then hold the volume down and power until it reboots

Can you flash stock firmware through download mode? If not, what error do you get when you try?
hello, I have a problem with my galaxy note 9. I mistakenly started an update with a different firmware from mine (I have SM-N960F). So now it is in bootloop on the screen installing system update. If I press Power + Volume Down the phone can simulate the removal of the battery by switching off and then restarting immediately. I can not get into recovery mode nor download mode. The phone is not recognized by the PC and therefore I can not use odin. How can i do?
Hold down Bixby, volume down, and power button until you see the download screen. Then flash through proper firmware.
if I try this combination of keys the phone will reboot on the logo screen until I stop (and then go back to that of the installing system update)

Ok. Try Bixby, Power, and Volume UP. See if you can get into recovery.
no, nothing happens..
If one wants to remove the carrier boot/flashscreen does one just flash an unbranded firmware? hate the carrier startup splash screen...

Dang. That sounds like a hard brick to me. If you can't get into download, there's nothing you can do. Hopefully someone here can find a solution for you, but sounds like you're bricked.

I think you accidentally clicked on for wrong thread. Your question has nothing to do with the OP's problem.

contrary to what some might have suggested in this case dl mode can only be achieved if phone is OFF. ( on the note 9 dl mode button combo changed so... :cyclops: )
so if you cant get to recovery and select power off. let it drain out. then plug the power for 10 min to charge it. leave it powered off
then unplug. hold vol down and bixby with one hand. while holding those 2 buttons plug the usb cable from your pc.
should revive to dl mode

Yes, but I celebrated too early ... now I have another problem. I downloaded a firmware from updato.com and unzipped. I assigned the entries bl ap cl and csc, and started .. now the process is started on "set partition" and on the device the horizontal bar has not loaded. now it is still .. and yet the phone has been recognized.

you need to know what model phone you have and flash the matching firmware.(get latest)
you can also use samfirm tool to get latest firmwares.
you cant downgraded bootloader so maybe you just choose a too old of a firmware.
also be sure you use Odin v. 3.13.1
also check that you are using a good USB c cable/USB port on PC.

Yes.. there was an error non odin 12.3
It's finally work:good:
Glad you got it working. Sorry if I steered you the wrong direction. I wasn't implying you could get to Download mode with it powered on. I assumed you were trying it with the device powered down. I should've been more clear and I almost asked you that.
Glad Bober got you up and running.
Hi all, I got a boot loop on my note 9 n960n after I was enable the "encryption"(didn't think straight..). After I pressed "reset and the phone will go to TWRP recovery but it will not allow me to stop so it just keep looping whenever I press "reset". I cannot power off the phone also. Any advise is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Have you tried:
1. Plug phone into computer, with odin running
2. Turn phone off (if bootlooping skip to next step)
3. Hold bixby and volume down buttons, then turn phone on( or wait for phone to power cycle if bootlooping)
4. You should now be in download mode
if i press power button it will stuck in installing system info again

seems you might not have flashed a complete firmware set ( all 4 bl ap cp and csc .md5 files. were you trying to downgrade by any chance?)
also u should state what got you in that jam in the 1st place. because just responding to an old thread dosen't give much info on your current situation.
