Hey guys, I was looking to buy a Note 5 from ebay and found out that the Verizon version works with all the carriers in my country. I was wondering if Verizon sells all their Note 5 unlocked because most of the sellers on ebay have no idea if it works with other carriers. Ok odd question. When doing the "Former Note 7" process i can select a carrier, AT&T in my case. I thought the only phones offered for the Note 7 people were the US unlocked ones and thus not that carrier branded phones?
Or am i just interpreting it wrong and these are the unlocked ones just with a carrier SIM included?
You can choose an unlocked or a carrier branded phone when ordering from Samsung US. All of them will be the US Snapdragon versions. AFAIK, the unlocked ones are heavily backordered and won't ship til October (vs the carrier-locked ones which will ship out this week), but Samsung has also said they'll be shipping out all preorders before the 14th so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hmm originally I couldn't do that. Why now wouldn't I return my AT&T one I paid full price for and order one for $425 off through Samsung? Besides I may have to wait.
Hey all, never-msrp had the black note 8 950fd for 849.99 64gb on ebay for like 1 hour before he sold out.
I'm itching for a unlocked bootloader and pixel 2 xl 128gb after taxes is over 1k! no sense in justifying that.
So i'm returning my t-mo note 8 when i buy the unlocked exynos ones, but i don't know who are trusted sources on ebay or elsewhere for this. Since never msrp is sold out and he has no idea when he's getting more can y'all source me to where to go?

So my ultimate question would be, any benefit from purchasing it from bh photo video vs amazon?
All other ebay sellers don't come close to amazon or never-msrp pricing as of right now..

Yeah the UK phones have regional lock. They'll activate it by the method listed. If you decline, you won't be able to make calls outside the countries listed for the phone.
I got mine from Clove and couldn't be happier. They break the seal & unlock it but I couldn't tell except for seeing the broken seal. They reset it so setup is exactly like with a new phone, I couldn't even fine a single fingerprint or smudge on it. I upgraded to DHL shipping, was shipped on a Friday, I received it on Monday.
With all the crap going on with OEM unlock missing/disappear, lowest price was not a concern for me. And really I didn't pay very much more than if I were to get a SD version from my carrier or Samsung.

So i need to know everything, for using it on T-Mobile , including do I need to flash any other version stock rom in odin or just unlock TWRP and RoM it and go!

He has a N950N on Tmobile. He's still working on the mod for the N firmware. The second link is his TMO mod for F variants. You can however flash the F firmware on your N & install the mod if you don't want to wait. He's been working hard at it & I'm sure he'll figure it out soon. I flashed his mod on my N950F & it's working great.

Looking at the variant the user has, they would either be in the UK or Europe and not using dollars.. Pricing in UK for tradein is between £260-£300 so ideally needs to sell privately to get a decent price
I live in Switzerland and the prices for electronics are about the same as in the EU. My intention is to sell it privately...

i was planning to buy a pixel 4 (128 GB) these year and my plan was to waite for the -200$ deal on Black Friday.
But there was no kind of an -200$ deal in germany or europe. Only in USA.
What do you think, is there in the future a similar deal to get the pixel phone with a 100-200$ discount here in germany or generally in the google store?
