Republic of Gamers update to Android 10

Hello,
I have just purchased a new Asus Republic of Gamers 12gb/512gb CN version from a UK seller but it has the WW rom listed both for the main rom and for the fingerprint (they are the same - I have checked). It has Android 9 but I want to update it to Android 10.
No updates are available through the automated system update and I have tried manually installing the various roms that are available but it constantly returns "System Update Failed".
Three questions:
1. Is it capable of being updated since it is a CN phone but with WW rom?
2. If it can be updated in its current set-up, which rom do I need?
3. If not, do I need to flash it back to a CN rom so that the rom is the same as the phone (i.e. both CN rather than CN for the phone, and WW for the rom)?

I think you need to update to latest android 9 (.64) rom before you can update to android 10

I think it is the chinese version.
I have installed the android 11 version you mentioned above. But i have gone back to the original android 10 because the developer android 11 is not ready for daily use. But it works.
If you like to install, copy the file to the root directory, then enable the developer option and use the build-in updater to choose the file manually.
But be aware, all data will be lost.

Appreciate that you keep updating on this. I've just bought a used nex 3s and would like to install the latest android available, doesn't matter official or custom ROM. I've search around and this post you made seems to be the only discussion I can find about Nex 3s ROM. Any advices on the latest stablel android for this phone please?

the links are dead, can you please re-upload the latest ocean version? it is kinda strange that on vivo cn's website, the latest DL link is still for non ocean version, where as for nex 3, latest DL is ocean version.
or, if you previously downloaded 7.6.6 off vivo's server, do you have the last 10 digits of the zip file, if yes, will try to see if i can grab it off vivo's server, many thanks.

Hey! Yeah I got it too. Don't notice any difference so far, just hope they provide more useful features in future updates or start providing us with JOYUI12. I also don't know if we got the GPU update Xiaomi phones got at the end of April.

Starting from MP4 to this version. CN ver. much smoother than global. I tried it. For CN version need to root it to put Google apps as a system files to iron out some problems like notifications.

How can you compare global and china roms?
Did you flash global rom and then went back to china rom?
if so, can you share china rom?

Global.MP1 vs CN MP4 , My personal feel that CN MP4 is more smoother.. As i tried the two version. As for global beta, much slower than the official global and CN..

I am oversea now and will upload MP4 once home.. Yes, flashed global and CN.. Take note: some devices will relock bootloader after flashing. You need to unlock critical partition also..

It might be, we will have to wait for us to find out. Hopefully, it should be Android 11 since SM-P205 already received Android 11

It's been years since i last did any ROM flashing...think my Oneplus 6 was the last one after that i've been on stocks ROM
I found a guide which is pretty clear in another thread...kudos to him

Last time I installed a global ROM I didn't need to do any of this. Simply downloading the ORIGINAL OnePlus file and doing a manual upgrade from the phone settings fully replaced the original Chinese ROM with the Global one.
