Update 4.1 emui

Anyone knows releases emui 4.1 for p8 lite

I would hope for emui 5 with android 7 nougat,I dont feel like emui 4.1 will make such a difference.

Sources say that this will be released in Q1 or Q2 2017 but we dont know whether it is emui 4.1 or 5.

It had some new cool features, now im on sakoban's rom because i bricked my phone while i was on 4.1, i had only old backup of sokoban's

I think it is the chinese version.
I have installed the android 11 version you mentioned above. But i have gone back to the original android 10 because the developer android 11 is not ready for daily use. But it works.
If you like to install, copy the file to the root directory, then enable the developer option and use the build-in updater to choose the file manually.
But be aware, all data will be lost.

Appreciate that you keep updating on this. I've just bought a used nex 3s and would like to install the latest android available, doesn't matter official or custom ROM. I've search around and this post you made seems to be the only discussion I can find about Nex 3s ROM. Any advices on the latest stablel android for this phone please?

the links are dead, can you please re-upload the latest ocean version? it is kinda strange that on vivo cn's website, the latest DL link is still for non ocean version, where as for nex 3, latest DL is ocean version.
or, if you previously downloaded 7.6.6 off vivo's server, do you have the last 10 digits of the zip file, if yes, will try to see if i can grab it off vivo's server, many thanks.

Well, perhaps you might find some AOSP or such simulation rom, but not the real one.
For me the best android was OS v6.01, the latest don't make sense that much anymore, it just trendy to go with it.

I have Exynos version (SM-N960F)
Maybe someone is working on such custom rom. I know that SM-N770 is similar to SM-N960...

Yes, the SM-N770 running same chip (exynos) as the SM-N960

just thinking the reason why N9 was abandoned by Samsung, is it due to limited HW configuration or some other reasons? such as force you transfer to new toy......

Wicked enterprise, if that is not too rude. Snapdragon US carrier locked Note 9 s are now officially paperweights.

The lack of similar Samsung device(with One UI 3.1 or higher) with identical processor(Snapdragon 845) makes it a bit difficult, but not impossible unless some dev has a SM-N9600 and port One UI 3.1 on that variant of Note 9. However, it might take a while just like how it took so long for @corsicanu to port Android 10 to Note 8(SM-N950F/FD/N) models

The bootloaders are locked on the SD versions. And also the lack of a similar or idenitcal SOC on a phone that already has that version of Android. (For example Nougat with Touchwiz was ported to Note 4 Exynos just because Tab S2 came from factory with Nougat. Or that 7.1.2 was ported to HTC One M9 because HTC Bolt/Evo10 came with it. Only possible because they share SOCs.)

Yeah. Maybe if somebody makes a One UI 3.x GSI you could probably install it that way.

Question Leica camera 5.0

A new camera app version 5.0 with Lecia features, colour correction, and huge improvements has been released yesterday for mi 12+++ and not compatible with MI11U.
Anyone got any idea how to make it work? I am fairly confident it will a good improvement compared to original app.

It was already ported for Mi 11 Ultra, it's paid app.
