Does anyone here already get galaxy note 3 from AT&T?

I pre-order the phone on Sep - 04 and the estimate shipping date is Sep-11 to Sep 13 , the shipping status still in prepare to ship . I had call AT&T they said the only thing they could do is help me cancel the order = =|||
I wonder is there anyone get the phone?

Your phone should be right at your door on 9/30/13 or 10/1/13 because I just tried it at the AT&T store today and Rep told me the store will have it on Saturday 28th September. And I also called Bestbuy. They told me they will have it tomorrow! Sep 27th.

How did you order it early?

I'm gonna laugh if ATT supports Note 3s on their network on 10/1 and zero people currently have the phone. Seriously when I pre-ordered any game from Amazon I always got it on the release date.

What do you mean? There's no reason why they wouldn't have supported it on 9/1. Or 8/1. I used my (original) Note on their network a couple months before it was even known of they were going to offer it.

Well I mean ATT specific apps

it's Oct 1st haven't get any message or status update from ATT. I really regret to pre-order from ATT.

i talk to my sales rep. today and he told me. that i can pick up my phone friday. no reason was given to why they are pushing the release on the phone.

Log in to My ATT account and check My Orders if you have preordered you will get your order details and tracking number. Mine is shipped today and delivering on 3rd Oct.

you think someone will make this so we can root and install twrp????

If it's anything like the S4 after the MF3 update, it's highly doubtful. Those users have to use a safe strap recovery and are limited to stock mf3 Roms. Sammy and att are pissing me off! Making my move to the nexus series of phone easier.

[Q] (request) Sim Card Unlocked?

I realize the Note 4 just shipped and only a few people already have theirs (I am in that group - awesome phone)
Wondering if anyone has found a Sim Unlock that works with this phone? I have no patience and want to unlock so I can use the TMOBILE PHONE on my ATT Network - and none of the online sites for unlocking mention the Note 4 - so I was wondering if anyone has successfully found a site that works? or a Method that works?
Suggestions?

these guys replied to me question about unlocking t-mo note 4 when I asked them the other day, saying they should be able to do it.

Thanks - l got the same kind of answer from http://www.cellfservices.com/ I used them on my S5 - but it is taking longer this time than it ever has in the past - so I got nervous and put up this thread to see what anyone else had found.
I seem to remember there was a way to unlock your Sim Card using Samsung Secret Codes - but I didn't know if that would work for the Note 4?

I am trying cellunlocker.net. They said they should be able to do it, but no unlock yet since I just put it in.

Not to be funny, but did you choose SM-N910 as the phone model? I only ask because technically the tmobile one is 910T, and I didn't see that one listed. I assume I'm just being overcautious. Can't wait to get this baby unlocked to ATT.

I selected SM-N910 and I sent them two emails telling them the model number that shows up in settings is SM-N910T. As soon as I hear one way or the other I will post here, in case you want to wait and see if some other vendor comes up with it first (or cheaper).
EDIT: I just got a note from them. They said to use model SM-N910 on the web site to order. Still no unlock yet. Patiently waiting...
Second Edit: They are having trouble getting an unlock. They are looking for a secondary source

The result of your journey will dictate whether or not I purchase through t mobile or shoot myself in the foot and buy AT$T note 4. Hang in their man I'll pray for you.

What about other options? I seem to recall seeing a thread about unlocking using Samsung Secret Codes - I have searched and can't find it - not sure if anyone else has seen this -
Another possible option worth looking into --when the NOTE 3 came out - REGIONS were a problem for people who had bought phones outside of the region they wanted to use the phone in - Chain Fire created a REGION AWAY flashable fire and we discovered that Flashing the REGION AWAY from Chain Fire had the additional benefit of unlocking the sim card - that is how I unlocked my NOTE 3 - but I am not sure if REGION AWAY would work on the NOTE 4???

If there is no unlock within a couple of days, I'm canceling and returning. I cannot get a TMOB signal inside my house. Outside, I can get one bar. I am sure someone will eventually unlock it, but I am not going to suffer under their 2 year contract for crapulant service.

If root is available try an app called region lockaway I know when I 1st got my note 3 I was able to unlock my sim. The app is by chainfire

I went ahead and gave it a shot and unfortunatelly it did not work. I don't know if there is something Chainfire could do to make the ap more compatible with the NOte 4 or even if that would make a difference.
When I installed the ap and ran it - it seemed to work correctly - said to reboot - but on reboot it was still locked.
more suggestions are appreciated -

Try putting another sim card from another carrier and see if it works the same thing happened with my note 3

I first tried to do it with the TMOBILE sim in place.
when that didn't work, I tried it with the ATT sim in place.
no Go
I am sure someone is going to figure out how to unlck this phone - I have unlocked an S4 - Note 3 - S5 and while some had issues initially, they all got unlocked eventually - hopefully it will be sooner rather than later...

I have used all of those phones on ATT and I never had data issues - speeds are great (better than TMOBILE for me anyway - some people love tmobile and say the speed is great - not the case for me at all)

Also have you had the ability to compare to an actual AT&T to see if there is a big difference in data speed? Just wanna know before I cash out a large amount on this phone lol

I dont have two of the same devices - but I do have a note 4 and an S5 right now -
When I do a speed test from my hone on the S5 (Att) I get about 8MB down - and 4 MBup (I get much faster in other parts of the city - but at my home that is pretty typical)
When I do a speed test on TMOBILE at my home - I barely get 1.5 MB up and about the same Down -
There could be a lot of reasons why Att is better for me than Tmobile - Tower location is a big one - but for me - I don't have any data issues using a TMOBILE PHONE on ATT.

[Q] Ordering Turbo from Amazon

Anyone here order the Droid Turbo from Amazon but are stuck on waiting list until Amazon gets more stock? I had to order it from Amazon because no other 3rd party retailer is selling it around me. Also has anyone dealt with returns/exchange on cellphones before with Amazon?
PS: I bought it full pop so my plan does not get messed with

EDIT: Nevermind, I see they have it via vzw full retail now. Didn't notice they had that up as I haven't checked Amazon in a while for the turbo
EDIT 2: I actually went and ordered it but simultaneously waiting for the GSM model, so if the GSM model gets announced then I can always cancel or return

Ah, I ordered the 64. I saw that 32 was available when I ordered mine. 32 had 6 this morning when I checked

I just got mine and found a verizon sim pre-installed and when I called to activate it they told me I needed a new sim to activate it. That might have something to do with it not coming unlocked from Amazon but I don't have a spare Nano sim from a different carrier to try and check for you. I would try calling Motorola support and ask

Nice, when do you order yours? I ordered mine last Thursday and still no word on shipping. It's definitely going to have a vzw sim in it, the inventory is from vzw. It is unlocked since it's vzw has to have the GSM radios unlocked. I have friends with vzw and have nano sim and can get a T-Mobile. If I had mine I'd be able to find a solution for you. =/

No it did not show any stock until saturday. Maybe you should try calling Amazon and make sure there was no error on your order?

Thats wierd I would try to get in contact with customer service and figure out what is going on. I got mine without any issues.

I've tried, twice, both resulted in you'll get contacted. Which is pretty absurd, they have no idea when it'll be available and the stores nearby do have them in stock... So I'm just annoyed by it all at this point.

Unless they are giving you something for free because of the delay why don't you just cancel and pick it up at one of those stores?

(Q) AT&T to Verizon

When I searched for this I saw many posts from last year, and so I'm not sure if anything has changed. This is likely a stupid question, but I can't seem to find a straight answer.
I have an HTC One M7, and the screen is literally falling out of it. I want to pull the trigger on a nexus 6, and looking on Ebay I see that the AT&T version is the cheapest. I've read that these are locked, but that (at least a year ago) AT&T were letting people unlock them. Is this true? Should I buy one of these phones can I go to an AT&T store and get it unlocked to use a different carrier? I'm on Verizon and since the status of my unlimited data is always in limbo, the less I have to talk to them the better. I'm aware there is a site that will unlock phones, but if I can do it for free, that seems preferable.
Also, aside from doing it myself is there any place I can get my sim card cut? Someone said that bestbuy used to do it, but the nearest one is a long drive for me, and I'd hate to make the trip for nothing.

in order to unlock an att n6 thats sim locked, the phone has to be 100% paid off(to att). if the person is selling it, it might be, or might not. thats the very first thing that i would ask the seller. if it isnt, id avoid buying it, as it could be stolen. if it was stolen, att will never unlock it for you.

there are a few places online that you enter the imei number and itll say if its been reported stolen or not, or if its been placed on the list. if it has been placed on the list, then every US carrier will not let you use the phone on their networks. but the only way to tell 100% is ro buy it and try it(but i dont recommend this way).

Well, the seller (of the phone I'm looking at) claims it's a clean IMEI, literally in the title, but that doesn't alleviate the problem of finding out if it's been fully paid off, right?

nope. ask them, the most direct way to get an answer. and ask them if they got it unlocked, if it is paid for.

It must not be reported lost or stolen.
It’s not associated with fraudulent activity.

The device is not currently active on a different AT&T customer’s account.
If you performed an early upgrade, you must wait the 14-day buyer’s remorse period before you can request to unlock your previous device.

THe at&t only phones can't be unlocked, please keep an eye i may update the listing with unlocked devices, waiting to see if they can be unlocked or not.

Perhaps that means he's tried and they cannot be unlocked, I'm not sure he wasn't all that clear.

SIM Card isn't Supported [Verizon]

Hi all,
I bought a Pixel 4 xl from ebay, but when i tried to put my sim on, i get the error: "Sim Card isn't supported", do i need to sim unlock my phone? how can i do it?

Sims lock is usually done by the carrier and it is unlocked when it is paid off.

So what can I do in that case?

Whatever carrier the phone was originally purchased on has a lock on it. If the phone has been paid off with that carrier you should be able to contact them to have it unlocked. If it hasn't been paid off with the original carrier then the original purchaser of the phone needs to have that done.
Most carriers will not unlock the phone unless it's been paid off.

Open a case with PayPal and eBay and get your money back. It's either a phone that hasn't been paid off yet, or a stolen phone.

I tried that, but ebay won't let me return it because of "as is " condition of the phone... What can i do? There's no way to unlock it and use it in my country? Dominican Republic.

If the device wasn't paid off then it's fraud and they will make good. There was / is a thread here about selling a device that wasn't paid off in full. Well this is what happens if you do sell or buy one in that state. Maybe you can call the carrier and ask if it's paid off. If it is they will unlock it for you.

I've talked to verizon and they said that the phone is in fact unlocked... now i am confused....

They probably mean carrier unlocked, not bootloader unlocked.

Then you might have to call the carrier in your country to have the device provisioned for their network.

Ill try that, but i already tried with 3 different networks, two from dominican republic and one from spain.... Same problem....

Didn't see that, sorry. Someone is not being truthful to you. You need to find out who that is.

Ebay has a 30 day money back guarantee to protect the buyer. I've used this a few times, and they always get me my money back! Unless your past the 30 days, then you can file a paypal claim.

I have the same issue. It's a Google issue from what I hear. I got my unlocked new pixel 4 right from Google. Put in my ATT sim and it said "sim isn't supported, contact xfinity". Hahaha..
so I contact them and they send me a new phone. Same thing. This is a very new issue and I finally found someone asked the same question on Google assistance and it was said it was a google issue and they are trying to fix it.
What a crock... I can't believe Google's own phones don't work as they should.
Rest assured, its most likely not a stolen phone, or unpaid. It's a Google problem.

Are you kidding? Ok, rereading I see what you are saying. But they must have given you a reason as to why your sim doesn't work. Where are you located?

I didn't say Google sent me a stolen phone. Re-read the post and the link. It appears to be a Google software issue.
Have you personally experienced the problem? I have, as have others in the link I posted and the OP.

Post edited above. This is not a Google problem, imo. Where did you buy the device and which version. Perhaps you bought a Verizon model like some of the posters in the thread you linked to? This is not a known issue so you folks are doing something wrong whether it's buying the wrong device or your carrier doesn't support the phone. But it's really up to you at this point to figure out where you have gone awry.
