NOTE: I am not a developer but I have tried my best to create a port that has most of the basics working on my LG V30. I cannot promise I can fix any bugs for other devices but if I have time, I can try to look into some. This version is based off Scrubber's [4PDA] and uses information I've learned from using and looking at Arnova8G2's, BSG's and others versions. All their work is much appreciated and is the only thing that makes this possible.
NOTE: This is how the V30's Camera ID's are laid out. My normal lens app uses ID 0 and 1. My wide lens app uses ID 1 and 2.
Camera 0 "LENS_FACING_BACK"
Camera 1 "LENS_FACING_FRONT"
Camera 2 "LENS_FACING_BACK" (wide angle)
I cannot guarantee success on other devices, especially if the phone does not even report all cameras through the Camera2 API (use Camera2Test app to verify your device info). If you are on LineageOS, please consult your dev to see if they can alter the camera ID's to properly match LG stock roms, if my version does not work.
Working on my V30: Optical Image Stabilization; Front/Rear/Wide HDR+ ZSL & Enhanced; Front/Rear/Wide Portrait Mode; Front/Rear/Wide 1080p 30fps video; will test other functions later but the menus work
My normal version should work fine on devices that have a decent Camera2 API support. Snapdragon Galaxy S8, Note 8, Nokia 6, Nokia 8, Essential PH-1, HTC U11, etc.

If you have issues, Clearing App Data is recommended. Open "Camera"> Settings>About>View App Settings Page>Storage>Clear Data
LG G6 Lineage users can use the toggle in the wide angle APK to fix their camera ID issue. You must force close the app.
-Added 5 Exposure Time settings for Adaptive Shutter Speed. "Super Slow" is the same as V3.5. "Very Slow" is about 2x faster and so on and so forth. On my phone "Slow" is not actually Slow and matches normal HDR+ Enhanced speed. But it may change depending on device so I left it.
-Normal APK: Save HDR+ choice after going into Settings (credit Miniuser123)
-Organized Settings>Advanced by grouping all HDR+ Enhanced stuff into a section. Changed a couple strings so they'd be translated to other languages.
-Skip Color Fix if Adaptive Shutter is enabled
-Removed Slow Motion menu item unless you have a LG G5, G6, V20, or V30. BUT, you can enable it in Settings>Experimental.
-Wide APK: Change HDR+ Config to Taimen so ZSL (Zero Shutter Lag) is back, but I've defaulted HDR+ to Enhanced. This won't change until you clear app data or go into settings though.
-Wide APK: Remove Slow Motion menu item

There is no model or config to set, you should be good to go after installing. But here is the setup:

I know on my V30 some tuning is needed to the parameters but I want your guys feedback first. It only affects HDR+ Enhanced. The shutter speed will slow down the darker your scene is. You probably want a tripod or something to prop your phone against, for best sharpness. In normal lighting the shutter speed seems to be the same as before so I don't think it would be a negative to leave this on - but it's your choice and needs testing.
-Added LG G6 Lineage Camera ID Fix toggle to Wide Angle APK so there shouldn't need to be separate Lineage builds for G6 anymore
-Optimizations courtesy of Arnova8G2

I have no problem with mine with the normal and wide lens apps. Try un-installing both apps and do a clean up of the phone with a phone cleaner, then re-install both apps.

I don't know what you mean by a "clean up" app but after running Power Clean or whatever it's called my camera still crashes.

That's what I meant, then I have no idea what's causing this.
The last solution might be to reset your phone to factory.

for me the Gcam HDR picture gives the best results
3 images to compare..stock LG with hdr on..gcam with hdr and gcam with hdr enhanced(to dark in my opinion)

no because google's phones doesn't have sd card so google have only the option to store it in internal storage.
I don't know if a developer can change this from within the code without creating bugs and crashes
Has anybody successfully installed and used AR stickers on the G5? tried many times with multiple apks but so far no success

Hi. I am using this apk of cstark WITHOUT ROOT and the photos look amazing. The only problem I have is that I can not record at 1080p 60fps even if I select that quality. will it be because I have to activate the camera 2 api?
Although it says that it's been tested on an LG G5, when attempting to install onto my LG G5 SE it says that it's incompatible.

For viewfinder lag you have to root your Device and flash Magisk Module(Realme Buffer Fix)

I don't know if "thank you very much" is enough for this. I've been looking for a stable Gcam for realme 6 for a very long time. And this is the most stable version. I am very lucky. Keep it up bro.
Let me address some issues:
1. Night sight isn't working for front camera.
2. Face retouch for back camera (it is working in the front camera only)

For fixing NightSight you have to off [Sabre] by going in ImageSetting.Then it will work for Front Camera Also.

just disable HEVC/H.265 in setting >> general >> advanced to fix video record
Since I bought the phone I have been using another mode for realme 6. The main thing I miss was the Asto mode. Thanks to this one, it works well. Also the noise reduction was far better compared to the previous mod during low light situations, which has been horrible. Really appreciate your work. Hoping for future mods and apps. In the next version please enable the option to manual controls fro HDR+ mode also so that we could use thisapp instead of stock app for manual mode.

Rooted Realme 6, with the buffer fix its not working at all EXCEPT on the "others" tab its picking up camera images, all the others are black. they do work without the buffer fix but laggy. any solution?

Guys! I found new and best version gcam for realme 6. Only slow motion won't work. Other modes work perfect and photo quality better.

This zip file contains boot_debug.img that enables adb root access. Is it possible to flash/boot that boot img without unlocking the bootloader?

But the actual .raw file is not included so no go to fix bricked zenfone 8
So I can't play with it in case of bootloops we aren't able to restore it back :/

My settings: fingerprint > screen off unlock > hide
Pick up phone to show indicator > off
Tap screen to show > off
After update to the new FW, I can unlock the phone with my right thumb, but not with the left one. This worked before the update. I tried adding a new fingerprint, but it did not help.

That's not exactly what I mean, you can see video below that pretty much explains my issue:
What I noticed, that delay is about halfed if I use standard Asus launcher, but it's still too slow. With Nova launcher it is as in the video.

Hi folks.
It came to the attention of some users that Xiaomi mixes a lot the sensors that are used in this device. It´s indeed a lottery.
Although this might not greatly affect conventional user experience, there are still some differences that can become relevant when addressing bugs, faulty parts and overall complaints.
For instance:
Proximity Sensor - most of earlier units seem to have included Elliptic Labs Proximity Sensor (with high level of complaints), while later ones appear to increasingly come with Xiaomi Proximity Sensor - sourced from Minghao (apparently more reliable).
Camera - even though camera modules are all the same accross units, they come with a random mix of lenses. For instance, on main camera, the s5khm2_i_samsung denotes a lens sourced from Ofilm (with f1.9) and s5khm2_ii_samsung means that the lens came from Sunny (with f1.89) - so with slightly wider angle of capture. Also, even though quality of capture seems equivalent, Ofilm presents a slightly yellowish tint when compared to Sunny.
Gyro/Accelerometer - some units come with icm4x6xx from TDK (slightly more power draw but apparently more sensitive, and perhaps better EIS capabilities?) and others come with lsm6dso from STMicro (less power hungry but also less sensitive). TDK variants also appear to come with 32 sensors overall vs the 31 found on STMicro version - the additional one is xiaomi.sensor.free_fall, which seemingly protects the hard drive in case of falls.
Charger Board - some units come with bq2597x, while others come with ln8000 (reports of it having a buggy PMIC and more problems in Custom ROM compatibility - e.g. Poco X3 Pro)
Display Panel - apparently, most are sourced from Samsung (dsi_k6_38), although they can also come from Tianma (dsi_k6_36), Visionox (dsi_k6_41) or Huaxing (dsi_k6_42). For instance, I have two devices with the same Samsung panel reference and even so, they present very visible differences among them - with one being more bright with a slight reddish tint, and the other being a bit more contrasty, with less nits and with a slight yellowish tint.
As informed consumers, having complete information about what is inside our unit is a fair and reasonable ask.
Therefore, we are opening a poll below, so we can all share our sensor mix and try to understand if they form a pattern on how the device behaves.
For information on sensors, you can run the app Device Info HW (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.andr7e.deviceinfohw).

The screen is called LCM in the Device Info HW app but it needs root.
PatoiloFor information on screen maker on unrooted MIUI, you can run a bug report - open the dialer and type *#*#284#*#* -> navigate to MIUI/debug_log/bugreport-date-time.zip -> inside the zip, open another zip called bugreport-version-date-time.zip -> open the file dumpstate_board.txt -> find "detect panel"
I have the Xiaomi Proximity Sensor on my 256GB variant and it's just as rubbish as the Elliptic Labs Proximity Sensor on my 128GB variant. Virtual proximity sensors are terrible.

I tried the HW info app while the phone is rooted, and I can see LCM now. Mine shows dsi_k6_38_0c_0a_fhd_dsc_video_display, which I guess is Samsung.
Voted for whatever is present in my recently Amazon.es bought Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro 6/128GB, namely:
Proximity - Xiaomi
Gyro/Accelerometer - icm4x6xx (TDK)

The 'fts_ts' is a touchscreen that does not work on custom ROMs yet.
The 'K6_38_0C...' is the Samsung display.
Got the third device which has the same mix as the second one. Manufactured at the same time.

The screen is the same on all of them (Samsung K6_38) but the unit manufactured in 2021/12 produces a nicer (warmer) picture. Fortunately, Lineage gives the option to calibrate the display so I was able to tweak the RGB balance on the other ones.
