The internal memory, in a weird way, just, downgraded?
It got from 64 GB to 16 GB, and i don't know why, and when i used ES File Explorer to see if it was an app error, the memory was just 10 GB, so, my phone is a fake one?

Yeah, there is a problem, i already fixed that, i just reinstaled the rom and now is working, by some reason my small brain didn't thinked about doing that earlier, so, is fixed, yay

I installed one ui on unlocked note 9 exynos variant with 6gb ram and 128gb rom. It had a bug which didn't allow the incoming and outgoing call in LTE/3G/2G(Auto Mode). So, i thought of rolling back to oreo. I deregistered myself from beta participation through members app, then i downloaded smart switch application on pc. Upon clicking downgrade, it analyses and downloaded all required files. When installation was initializing it gave a error "failed to recognize software update mode". I tried it around 5 times, everytime same error comes. I tried reinstalling driver, switching usb port, reinstalling app on pc and even deleting temporary files but problems remains same on every attempt, pls help me!

Yeah. Actually i tried without deregister. Then Samsung switch rolled me back to 8.1. Thanks to all.

You just re-registered for the beta and then went through smart switch again?
Interesting sounds like you have to be registered to the Beta before you can downgrade back to Oreo.
Hey I recently received a ROG Phone 2 from an online seller that had already flashed the WW rom.
However the storage size of the phone has a capacity of 32gb. When it should be 128gb.
Would that be due to the rom being flashed incorrectly? Can this be fixed if i were to redo it?
I can't seem to find anyone else with this issue.

Where did you buy it from?
Also download these two apps CPU-Z and DroidInfo then confirm the internals of your device.
Maybe a mistake was made when partitioning before flashing the WW ROM.

I bought it from Kogan in Australia.
Both apps show that i have 18GB of total internal storage.
If it is the partition.. is that something i could fix?

What of the RAM? Also, check the processor information and see if they all check out.
I would have advised you to get into recovery and see if you can work it out then flash new ROM.
But advisably, the safest bet is to reach out to the sellers and return it cos trying anything on it may be against the Ts & Cs.
fYou can enter the fastboot mode and run the command to recover. fastboot oem factory-reset! Then you can restore the correct storage, or you need to find the ww firmware, into the fastboot mode, the full brush can be! I hope I can help you!

Hi, just got my ROG Phone 2 Tencent Edition today, and it is already in WW firmware and fingerprint. After about 1 hour, I realised that the detected internal storage is only 32GB. Tried some file manager app to make sure, and they said the same thing, total internal storage is only 32GB.
Anyone got similar problem or any ideas?

hey hello my friend, I had a friend with the same problem, it unlocked the bootloader completely cleaned the system, flashing it to normal firmware and all the devices returned the memory. I think it’s from the firmware or (bug)
So it means I must revert to CN rom?
I had the same issue and my solution was to wipe the phone

Is there a thread with an manual how to flash a rom and how to get an actual rom? Will "normal" rom get automatic updates?

I have a rog phone 2 Tencent edition 8gb/128 gb version
currently it has Android 9 - WW_16.0631.1910.44_0 , i bought it a couple of months ago
when i check for update it says im on the latest version , i guess because it has the CN fingerprint
there are a few minor bugs , like sometimes pressing the power button does not wake up the phone instantly - i takes like 10 seconds sometimes
i would like to update safely without bricking the phone
anyone could help me with link to the firmware and info how to do it please.
I really wish I had better answers for you, but all I have figured out so far is that you can't jump too far too fast with the updates. I think.
There is supposedly a method where you take the entire update file from ASUS and place it on your internal storage. It is mentioned here:

Hi. On the start i want to apologize for any chaotic description i may give, or mistakes/unclear explanation since for first - english is not my native language and for second i'm terribly tired and depressed as a result of 2 days searching for informations how to solve my problem. Lets get to case.
Patient:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 (merlin), complete model "M2003J15SG", it have unlocked bootloader, no root, no custom recovery, probably no granted permisions for adb.
I'm not sure which version of rom it have at the moment i remember only that it was global.
Case:
Few days ago Xiaomi displayed notification about possible upgrade to MIUI 13. That was not the first update that i installed directly just by accepting it, so i decided to give it a go.
After that, my phone went to infinite bootloop (there is a mi logo with "powered by android" that stays there for minute, and then it reboots and situation repeats itself).
Recovery is not working (or i do it wrong -> power+ vol up, maybe it's damaged after this update) i cant get into fastboot either (power + vol down).
However when i connect to pc and press power + vol down windows makes sound of pluging and unpluging device few times (probably its a mode that i can flash it with new rom with flash tool).
If i can (probably) flash whole ROM then what is a problem? :
Main problem is, that i have there very important data there, especially text messages and there is no way i want to lose it.
To give you small tip why it is so important to me i will explain it with a bit of offtopic:
Inside of sms google app i have messages that contains crucial informations, like my ex employer incriminating messages, codes that gain me acess to meds in pharmacy, adresses and so on - i just can't lose it because at the end i could have a pretty big trouble about it, including my ex employer tring to make me a scapegoat for his own decisions in front of a law. End of offtop.
Expectations:
I've so far read that if i will have custom recovery, i would be able to make a backup of data inside of Redmi.
Then i would try to flash entire ROM, but important is that i will have that data backed up.
Since i'm not a master class when it comes to adb, flashing, and so on - i would like to ask you for help.
I mean i know how to flash rom or, unlock bootloader, or root - but i lack knowledge about subjects that matters in this particullar situation,
especially i dont know can i flash only recovery with flash tools, and if so - will it erase internal data,
where to get already prepared scatter and recovery, how to do it - i need extremaly step by step help, so i could understand it and do it.
Is it possible to flash only custom recovery with flashtools without erasing data, and if so - how?
Is it possible to flash ROM without data being erased - if so, how?
Is there any tool i should look into, or maybe when it cames to switching to recovery/fastboot i'm doing something wrong?
Is there ANY and i mean ANY way to or fix bootloop, or at least get custom recovery without permanently losing important data?

Edited - you are right, that's not "Pro", but merlin still. And for sure not indian.
I've updated to MIUI 13 too and I lost all my data too.
I've inspected the problem.
After upgrade to MIUI 13, it modifies the encryption keys for decrypting contents.
So, if you didn't backup these keys, there is no possibility for recovering.

I think that i should at least try to access data since i've seen a lot of weird stuff that shouldnt work in some way, but did.
Would you be kind enough to tell me - is there a way to flash TWRP with flash tool in download mode without touching data partitions?
And if it is, can you explain to me how to do it or give me some link particullary to files for my model (recovery and scatter)?
This MIUI 13 update really surprised me in a bad way, it's even worse to hear i'm not the only one with that problem

try reflashing boot and recovery in fastboot.
