[Q] Download mode

I have this weird problem where I can still get into download mode/CWM recovery but when I'm in download mode and I'm trying to flash with Odin, Odin doesn't recognize the device?
Anyone else have this issue?

Download mode - device not recognized

Hi I tried to boot into download mode to install recovery (phone says "Downloading...") but when I connect it my phone to pc, windows says that device is not recognized and odin doesn't detect it too. I tried to remove and install drivers again, change usb port, usb cable, reboot pc, try another pc (both on windows 8.1) and clean usb port on phone. Mass storage and adb throught usb works well.
Do you have any ideas how to make it working? Or somehow flash recovery/CM without download mode?
nope. Doesn't work!

I had the same problem. :good:
windows recognizes. But 8.1 doesn't. :crying: You have to down-grade.
A suggestion, have a separate OS for these works and "gaming" xD say 7?
It works great!
Ok, thanks guys, I will try to find another pc with w7 or xp.

No devices in fastboot

So i am using the latest stable global rom and have updated windows 10 on both my computers and both won't recognize the phone as a device in fastboot. Had already used it in the past. The phone has usb debbuging activated and the phone recognises the device when not in fastboot.
Any ideas how to fix this? Or anyway to install TWRP without fastboot?
are you sure you have properly installed fastboot driver ?
Happened to me also... What I did was I used old fastboot drivers... The new 2016 drivers won't recognise in fastboot...
Connect your phone in fastboot...
In device manager manually update it to old drivers
can you upload that Old driver?

my phone is bricked

Please help me to resolve the problem
Is it possible to do something from adb sideload on this device as I can access adb sideload on stock recovery

If your phone is bricked like it won't respond to you then download and install the mediatek vcom drivers in ur laptop and check whether the phone is detected or not, if it's detected then format your phone using sp flash tools and reinstall the stock ROM using sp flash tools and it will boot
It's works for me :good:
Yes it can detect to laptop but for just 2-3 seconds that's why I'm not able to flash it by sp flash tool :crying:
Bt I'll try ur method once

Could be a driver issue. Try plugging into another port, then go into device manager. Look for exclamation points.

USB debugging enabled? Could be a driver/cable issue. Use a known good USB-A data cable, not USB-C to USB-C.
Flashing stock boot image to both slots usually gets you back into System.
All else failed? Try full OTA image in Recovery via ADB.

Ive tried with different cables and also with windows and linux on my notebook so i dont think its a driver issue.
I also tried to flash boot image on all slots, this was succsefull but after reboot it starts in the Fastboot Mode with the Enter reason: no valid slot to boot.
I dont know what to do... Do you think some Smartphone Repair Stores can fix this?

Also check Windows Event Viewer to see if any errors are reported.
Sometimes reinstalling the driver does the trick.
And reboot Windows...
