Hello
I have a question for you.
I have a phone samsung a6+ SM-A605FN/DS.
I installed XEO and everything worked.
Then, following this link, https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-a6/development/tnt-jm-a605fn-ultimate-firmware-2018-t3882437
I went through all the steps except for installing rom.
I reinstalled XEO with the replaced file, using this manual.
https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/install.html#samsung-system-as-root
I did this step.
Reboot to download mode, and flash magisk_patched.tar as AP in Odin, together with the BL, CP and HOME_CSC files. Never flash only an AP file, as Odin can shrink your /data file-system if you do.
Important: Uncheck "Auto Reboot" in Options!
Everything went well, the phone is working almost well.
Unfortunately, the signal private messenger application does not work.
Unfortunately, only this application does not run. Has anyone encountered such a problem?
EDIT:
On a clean XEO application works.
After downloading from Magisk, the application stops working.

I bought the Galaxy S5 SM-G900A AT&T and until the time when he was with all the manufactures, I reset and he was usually
update OTA (ANC1 to AND3, ,after leaving the root, I changed the "framework-res.apk" file to add the Portuguese
Brazilian and in time to put it in the folder, forgot to give the correct permissions, so he did not started
correctly. Thereafter, downloaded the files (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2714455) and did flash
the BL, AP, CP and CSC by Odin v1.09 and everything is working again, except the update OTA, still trying to add the
language, did this procedure (http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/help/rom-sm-g900m-t2806032) and it
worked, however, the whole system was also modified and did not update via OTA, so I tried again to flash files BL, AP,
CP and CSC, but this time it was not possible to flash the BL. Want to know how do to let the phone fully as manufactures,
doing update via OTA and what to do to put the Stock Rom SM-G900M (G900MUBU1ANG3_G900MZTO1ANG3_ZTO) via SafeStrap?
Thank you.
I rooted my phone and wanted to flash back to stock so I can update with the OTA and re-root, but I downloaded the zip for the AT&T tar files and everything seemed to pass MD5 checks and went okay, but as soon as I hit Start, the program just continues to say NAND Write Start for over 20 minutes, and won't flash, how do I go about re-trying this without bricking my device? It's still plugged in atm in download mode.
What version of Odin are you using? I had this problem because I had v3.10 and the s6 is not compatible with that version, you have to have v3.10.6.
Mine did that, I closed odin, reopened, put each .md5 file in right section (AP in AP, BL in BL, CSC in CSC, ect) and it worked
If Odin is having trouble flashing to your phone. Here is some simply tips and tricks to try.
1. Try flashing everything except for the bootloader .
2. Try running Odin as admin.
3. Try upgrading to the newest Odin available.
4. If all else fails, open Samsung Kies, and go to emergency recovery, put your model # and serial # in, and it will flash your phone to stock for you, then you can try again.
5. Also make sure all of the correct drivers are installed for your phone, sometimes Windows can be bad about that. Try getting drivers from samsung directly.
6. Try a new USB Cable, as crazy as that is, I have had some not work, and others work fine.
7. Try a different USB Port on the PC, or restart the PC.
I hope this helps.
I tried just flashing the ROM and CSC and it flashed just fine, I left out the CP file, what is that? Everything seems fine just flashing the ROM and CSC, but do I need to flash the CP file too, for anything?
CSC is the consumer software customization and is specific to geographical region and carriers. It contains the software packages specific to that region, carrier branding and also APN settings for data connection, MMS etc for your service provider.
I hope this helps
I didnt get it. Do you mean to put each .md5 file in all sections? ? Please help me

Please help me out. I am having same problem NAND WRITE stuck.
Solved
Thanks everyone for your post. But what I did is, just downloaded the Odin v3.10.6......that worked with S6. And I guess S6 is not compatible to other earlier versions of odin. So better try with Odin v3.10.6.
Nand write start fail solved
I have solved using Odin3 v3.10.7 with firmware VZW-G920VVRU4BOK7-20151211140939 and Windows 7 for Galaxy S6 SM-G920V
NAND stucked

Yes, I gave up but a friend of mine found a thread that talks about using Kies to bring it back to factory default. You need to know the serial # and IMEI # If you can find this information, you can reset it using Kies.
Had the same problem. Used Odin 3.10.6
But before all this, I connected phone with debugging enabled in windows and authorized it, the problem never resurfaced
I upgraded my Samsung S5 g900a from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1 following the steps in the post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/general/galaxy-s5-android-version-6-0-1-t3419016
I put in development mode and turned on debugging. Prior to starting I checked to see if there were any updates via the phone and there were none.
I used Odin as recommended in the post and only flashed the AP file. Odin showed that flash was successful and on reboot of the phone get to the At&t logo and stop. I put it in recovery mode and wiped the data and cache and n reboot it would stop at the same place. I tried again and flashed the AP, cs and CSC and repeated the recovery wipe with the same results.
I then tried the steps to fix 5.1.1 outlined here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785185
I used Odin and flashed AP, CS, CSC, BL. I still ended up with it stopping at the ATT logo. I went into recovery mode to wipe data and cache and rebooted and the results were the same.
Are there any ideas what to try next? I can still boot into Download mode and recovery Mode. Odin can still connect. Any help would be appreciated
Not sure what you flashed, as there are many links in that post; but if you tried upgrading to 6.0.1, then you need to flash all 4 files (BL, AP, CP, and CSC) from the PH4 download only.
Thanks, Flashing all four file worked. Page 1 of the post indicated to just flash the AP.
I have rooted my phone using this video (watch?v=ygcDFTPT248)
I was on Android 9
Everything seemed to go well, but the Magisk app was not installed (only the TWRP one) and a root checker I tried told me I was not rooted
I decided to let it go, but now not only does Netflix not work but I cannot even use Smart View, so I want to unroot (Or return to the normal samsung bootloader, whatever will fix my issues)
I tried downloading multiple firmwares for my phone, but I cannot install them.
I downloaded Odin3 from the official page, I put my phone in download mode, set AP to the AP_... file and the others the same (I had 2 CSC files: CSC_... and HOME_CSC... and I tried both), but I always get a fail text no matter what firmware I try to get
Is there some app like Apple's iTunes that can quickly just put the official firmware back on my phone or what could I do?

Will need more information like
Current firmware
Firmware trying to flash
Odin version
Errors with Odin
Also with installing magisk if no manager app then you will have to install separately.

I have fixed my issue
Here is for others that might find this thread:
Current firmware: N950FXXU6DSF3
Firmware I am trying to flash: N950FXXSADTC4
Odin version: 3.13.1
Initially I was getting a big FAIL! in the box above my phone, with nothing else that stood out in the console besides telling me the thread ended
I believe I was accidentally putting one of the CSC files in the USERDATA box
I only used BL, AP and CP and I succesfully installed the software!
Thanks anyways, bro
Hi all, I have this A71 that yesterday was working just fine, and today is in bootloop for no reason at all.
The owner was as smart as to keep tons of important stuff on that phone with no backup, so I have this request: is there a way to pull anything out of there?
I can access stock recovery and fastboot.
I am really sorry to hear that you can maybe try to install twrp and recover the files with "adb pull" or accessing the phone storage via a pc (you need to have twrp installed) i don't know any other way besides this. If i helped you make sure to like my response
Solved simply flashing different version of stock ROM.
Was on Andrioid 10, flashing 11 via Odin solved the bootloop issue.

hello did you manage to keep all your data? i'm new i found the correct firmware for my phone , i have samsung odin.... do i just flash? it states that i will loose all info
Yes, everything saved.
Got the firmware from sammobile, flashed with Odin and retained everything: apps, settings, data, photos....
Just be sure to flash the HOME_CSC file and not the plain CSC, or it'll wipe all.

just to make sure that i dont mess up my bro's phone... i would unzip the firm ware and choose the Home_CSC file and put that in the odin csc box and flash... THANK YOU LOADS FOR YOUR HELP!
I flashed all the files: BL, AP, CP and CSC, the latter using the HOME_CSC file.
Once I finish downloading the firmware! I'll let you know! What happens . this is my last shot at this point I tried everything !
Thanks either way for your help!
sadly it didn't work ... the bootloop is still there....
i'm now worried about trying the normal csc and deleting everything without fixing the bootloop.... i wonder if its a mechanical issue
