Have noticed while searching that a couple of people have got Blackberry Connect working with Etisalat in the UAE.
Can you tell me what version of BBC you used and how the heck you got it working, i have been struggling to do this now for 2 days and i KNOW it can be done.
Etisalat are of course being useless as they dont officially support it, thats when you find someone whos actually heard of it!

i have now got BBConnect installed and can connect to the internet via blackberry. I have managed to set up my email and everything is great.....appart from the fact i cant get my mail to be sent to my kaiser?
Help as I'm now really clueless about what else can be done
Had WM6 phone before and switched to BB. Miss WM too much so I need to get back and I can't wait for Tmobile to release another WM Pro phone. The Wing is an effective calculator at this point. I plan on unlocking and flashing an AT&T Tilt (like I did my 8525).
I have a couple of questions though...
Will Blackberry Connect work on unlocked Tilt on Tmobile?
Where would I download BB Connect for that?
Will GPS work with 3rd party programs on Tmobile?
Does BBC drain battery down to nothing before the end of the day?
I called Tmobile and they called AT&T and were told BB Connect would not work on an unlocked Tilt on Tmobile. That sucks.
Does anyone know; does a phone have to be on an active plan in order to use the Sync or Windows Mobile programs? I want to sync my new phone before I call my carrier to activate it, but it's not working. My "active" phone works fine, so I'm thinking that might be the problem.

If I understand your question properly, you want to sync ur phone with Windows before activating with the carrier?
If yes then you can, activating is not an issue here
I did it before activating with telus
Got the phone last monday, installed rom and updated everything then called in yesterday to activate
My captivate has randomly started asking for a SIM network unlock PIN when I turn it on. I brought it overseas in January and it has been working fine until now. I have no idea what to do

Get an unlock app from market and try to unlock it again. The one I used I think was called SGS unlock or something like that.
Is this a feature that this device supports?
I have everything I can think of enabled in Nova & Google Assistant settings. The "OK" keyword works fine when the device is awake. I just can't get it working from sleep.
BTW: I had it working on my LG V20 which I don't think officially supported it. That device was rooted and bootloader unlocked, among other things.
I'm downloading Pie now, but no, mine won't work either.
Try checking Settings → Security → Smart Lock → Voice Match, turn on "Unlock with Voice Match"
Mine hasnt worked from day 1, and Pie didnt fix it either. Also phone locked and using a headset also wont unlock with "ok Google." I loved this feature on my OG Pixel...
When I first got my RP2 it had Oreo on it and I could unlock my phone with OK Google. Then got an OTA for Pie and then I got a message from OK Google stating it could no longer unlock phone due to security issues. So Pie broke this feature.
