Just updated to Android 10 on my T-Mobile to International 6T. No issues so far and everything seems to be working correctly.
Thoughts?
Also, I noticed that the vibration seems to be a little better somehow. Is anyone else experiencing this upgrade?
The black bar under keyboard for navigation is really an annoying oversight. Apparently in the op7 t pro and op 7 pro roll out they have corrected this issue, for now i m using the adb offset of -75 but apparently it doesnt stay after reset, which for scheduled shutdown is a bit of an annoyance.

I actually don't mind the blank space under the keyboard but I really don't like how there's a black bar under the long navigation pill thing. I know you can hide it all together, but I wish you could hide the bar and keep the navigation pill thing.

So you're running a converted TMobile on 9.0.17 stable, and you used the local upgrade to flash Android 10 Open Beta 1? That hasn't been possible up to this point.

No this is a new release. This is the stable official release.
I wish the navigation pill floats over just like in iOS, though this is more of Android problem than OnePlus

Same here! Made my night as well. Downloaded the ROM, installed with TWRP, re-rooted and I am good to go. So nice to be able to just upgrade with the need for fast boot files. Was able to root again no problem.

Been on oxygen ten since the Dev previews in July. Only real issues for me have been alarm permissions and native video calling. And casting to android auto there is mew warning that has to be disabled via command.

for me its quite annoying because my muscle memory for typing on the keyboard, i am constantly clicking the bottom bar instead of the spacebar which is minimizing my keyboard and sometimes closing the app i m in while typing. Hopefully its fixed soon.

Which version TWRP and Magisk did you use? Only asking as there were issues with OB1 and TWRP. If I recall correctly, OB1 could not be flashed through TWRP.

I think android 10 looks absolutely amazing and is much faster however i am having a few issues...
Ambient display doesnt display anything other the the fingerprint, I guess they haven't added that Smart display thats in the patch notes.
Fastboot boot twrp.img doesnt work
and the McLaren fingerprint is gone.
Hope they fix things
Is there any way to get the McLaren FP animation back using setedit app or adb?

Really enjoying the stable upgrade. As mentioned, the space under the keyboard messes me up though. I'm sure there will be a fix for it. One issue I'm experienceing is I lost root and twrp since the upgrade and I'm not sure how to get it back. Magisk is uninstalled. This is my own fault for not upgrading properly lol. That aside, OOS 10 and Android 10 is nice.

I have been using Nougat update for a while now and I haven't noticed any of the bugs/lags etc that some others claimed. Mine is actually faster and it has better battery life (SOT)
Is there anybody else that has no bugs on his Nougat update?

For me is running like a charm too. I don't think battery life is unbelievable though... But im pretty sure is the best phone i've ever had for that price anyway.

Mine was working well when I first updated but then just went down hill from there. I mean it's much better than my 3.5.4 update but 3.5.3 was just sooooooo good. I wished someone had a flashable zip for the T-Mobile LTE fix that was in 3.5.4 for 3.5.3.
Has anyone noticed that it's much slower when switching apps using the hardware buttons vs the on screen buttons? When I have the hardware buttons enabled, and I click the recents button, there is noticeable lag opposed to when using the on screen buttons. The on screen buttons are instant.

Check to see if you have double tap recents commands. its the same thing as for fingerprint double tap commands. these are causing a bit of lag due to the delay for the 2nd tap command

Battery has been far worse for me, likely going to do a full wipe to see if that helps. Wiping cache did nothing.

No, people don't know how to read. If rooting and manually updating is to hard, they probably don't really have a reason to do it because they probably can't take advantage of the benefits

LOL no. Apps (even from google or the OEM) misbehave at times, or the installation can get messed up with updates. That's why it's always recommended to clean flash after a major OTA if there are problems or bugs. No need to be condescending just because you don't have problems (yet).
Something I noticed: When I dirty flashed 4 on top of 3.5.4 I ended up with a configuration using the power save governor and my phone was laggy. Installing fresh I got the Interactive governor and the phone was smooooth.
Make sure you're running the Interactive governer at least.
In fact, I'll reflash Nougat later and confirm this, might be worth a post.
Oh, I also still get the Mobile Radio Active bug in Nougat. I returned to Marshmallow as I have xposed and can work around it with automation.
I came around this app called Fluid Navigation Gestures.
It's awesome, it needs some permissions to hide the navigation bar that you have to provide through adb commands. The instructions are clear and anyone can do all that.
There are unlimited possibilities for the way you navigate through this app, It's highly customisable. There is also a 1$ optional payment that opens up more customizations.

Well no lags on my device, and the bug you said is not listed there, maybe it got fixed. Although there is a mention of lag due to accessibility service, but I never experienced it.
Only issue I have is faulty previous app function, at times it tries to open the app I am already in.
Here is the screenshot of known bugs in the app.

Sorry, I meant accessibility. It's been a few weeks already that I tried. Let's see if I'll have this problem again. This app can consistently change the way we use our soft keys phones, and I loved it
Wish Android had the swipe-to-back feature that iOS has had for years, its such a smooth experience.
MIUI has the same gestures OP suggested, but its so unnatural, same goes for these gestures.
Really nice app and "fluid". Been using since day 1 I got a2 lite, as I loved the full screen gesture on MIUI ROM.
Although I recently updated to Pie and this app (and others like this) are causing flickering issues.
EDIT
Turning on "disable HW overlays" in developer options fixes the flickering issue for now.

Doesn't work on my Note 9 running Android 9 stable version. All the modules read as unplugged. Tapping on any one of them it says "We're preparing an update. Try again when you see the update available mark".

I'm wondering how this will work too. I really liked how the recent apps windows worked previously. The way they cascaded over each other showed more info than the one UI's method. Hopefully it doesn't change too much.

Hello all, i have a mi8 128gb global, recently i opened my bootloader for custom roms and root, i succesfully opened but i have a problem with custom roms. How to fix it?
I decided to unlock mine just a few days ago as well and noticed this over Havoc and POSP. It's pretty weird considering it's a software issue around most custom ROMs. Havoc has a setting to modify the curvature of the screen but it doesn't fix it completely.

Yes, but tomorrow I'm planning something to do, today i see that in the system files there is a notch overlay app is exist. I think this one gives the notch to a shape. And also I noticed in vendor there is a folder similar like that. Whatever, my plan is after installed rom, getting that system files and copy-paste to the custom rom system directory. I think this will fix our issue, I mean I hope :fingers-crossed:

Hello, I have a problem and a question with him. When I install a custom rom and lower the resolution, depspite using the notch bar killer, a notch remains that got bigger and I can't delete them, also when I put the dark mode it becomes white
