I'm planning on buying a Note 9, and I came across Good Lock 2018 which is very nice, however, it was on Oreo, and I was wondering if it works on Pie as well with One UI?

Nope, Tried em. None of them works yet.
But if you look at apkmirror the SDK target is android 9... maybe meanwhile is a beta it won't work. Hope that be working at final release.
Doesn't work.
Doesn't work on my Note 9 running Android 9 stable version. All the modules read as unplugged. Tapping on any one of them it says "We're preparing an update. Try again when you see the update available mark".
a few work like edgelighting a nicecatch but none of the good ones...yet
One-hand works as well. Wish they get Recents and Navstar working as well.

what we need is the apps (quickstar/lockstar/routine/etc.) to work with pie
Any update here?

I'm wondering how this will work too. I really liked how the recent apps windows worked previously. The way they cascaded over each other showed more info than the one UI's method. Hopefully it doesn't change too much.
Good lock for Pie is here!!! Check your Galaxy store.
Can someone upload them.
I have downloaded the Good Lock and its add ons via Galaxy store using VPN method. But unfortunately, routines was not included in it. Does yours have?
No Routines yet. Probably not ready.

Hello folks,
Good news! I have come across a user manual in Hebrew of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 which was updated on 11th of March 2016 which confirms couple of new features of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has been added for instance S-Pen menu of Note 5.

Where is Nokia 7 Plus's October patch and why ain't anyone talking about this? This security fix is a major flaw in the linux kernel. Why are they delaying the security patches now?

TA-1062 in the US - got it last weekend. No October patch yet, though.
Split-screen implementation in Pie sucks. Not terribly fond of how you remove apps from queue, either. Everything else is just fine so far, though.

This is exactly what Xiaomi did to Mi A1. I don't know what's wrong with HMD. First, their devices are insanely priced. Second, they prevent us from using our device the way we want by not allowing bootloader unlocking (official). And now they are not even being punctual on providing monthly security updates.
Disgusting!!

they have too much phones out there right now, remember even the new nokia phones recently introduced came with the android oreo, really shame.
and as time goes, hmd become worst and slow with the updates.
apart from the 7 plus, other nokia phones are still on android oreo.

Same.. 1062 in US. And hate the split screen implementation. Also the longgg swipe to get to the apps. I disabled that gesture setup for that very reason.. pity google forces this for pixel 3. I will use Nova if they ever do this for my phone.

They have the means to contact every single N7+ user and send a message with that information.
"Subject: Nokia 7 Plus October Security Patch
Hello dear user, due to our inability to provide the update in time(or any other bs excuse by Nokia) we will be skipping the October Patch and will deliver the November patch in the normal schedule. Sorry for the incompetence(inconvenience), Best Regards, Nokia Support"
It would be this easy but instead they went silent...

Doesn't seem to include 9.0.5's feature set, so it may be based on it stability and system improvements wise, but doesn't add some if not most of the perks of the actual OOS build, no wonder it took so long to be released...

Yeah that's definitely a plus, it was one of the reasons I converted, worked so much better on 9.0.5, good for everyone who's still on stock, device works better now and they said nightmode got an update too, so pics should be nicer in the dark.
So they added the stability updates, but ripped out everything else it seems. Not cool. Wonder how long it'll actually take us to get the 9.05 build.

Orrrrr maybe they fixed that possible bug where people would request permanent unlocks immediately at purchase and got approved despite being on eip and under 40 days, some even tried within the first 24hrs and got approved automatically for some odd reason, lol.

Got this off reddit. Seems to add the new gestures from 9.0.5(?) as well as other improvements. Can someone who got this update on the TMO firmware check to see if the gestures are actually the ones in the latest update. Then we can confirm that the TMO variant just has a different naming convention.
Also, the build of that is 181029 while the 9.0.5 intl. is 181103

Does anyone know if this actually works for the Galaxy S10?
I've checked the notes on google play and the only thing I've seen is that it works for pie (which I suspect means will work on the S10) and that for themes they need to be updated for the s10 (or pie). I'm guessing as long as it's all updated for pie it should work on the S10?
I've downloaded them, but I'm not quite ready to plunge into applying a theme - I've read a few comments it that they work with one UI but not all parts theme yet.

The black bar under keyboard for navigation is really an annoying oversight. Apparently in the op7 t pro and op 7 pro roll out they have corrected this issue, for now i m using the adb offset of -75 but apparently it doesnt stay after reset, which for scheduled shutdown is a bit of an annoyance.

I actually don't mind the blank space under the keyboard but I really don't like how there's a black bar under the long navigation pill thing. I know you can hide it all together, but I wish you could hide the bar and keep the navigation pill thing.

Really enjoying the stable upgrade. As mentioned, the space under the keyboard messes me up though. I'm sure there will be a fix for it. One issue I'm experienceing is I lost root and twrp since the upgrade and I'm not sure how to get it back. Magisk is uninstalled. This is my own fault for not upgrading properly lol. That aside, OOS 10 and Android 10 is nice.
