Hi
I'd like to change the status bar height to a value higher than the default and lower than the tall cutout (from developer options). What is the best way to edit the "status_bar_height" value in the theme xml file and apply it? Creating apk and uploading it to /vendor/overlay using ADB should work? Do I need root for this?
My Mi9 runs Android 10 with MIUI 11.

Hi i have question, How make status more attractive than in Android 2.3 ? In 2.3 it is so ugly for me :/ I try to instal theme but i dont now how I only would change status bar. Any .apk file to do this ? I'm begginner at this
AT LAST i find someone who agree with me about how ugly the gingerbread bar is!
As for the themes you flash them in recovery, worked great for me so far.

Just follow the how to guide for finding the framework and systemUI apk and add the theme you want for everything but the statusbar from system --> app folder if you use a CM 7 rom
Does anyone know how to change the font used in the status bar? I can't figure out for the life of me how to.

Use Fontchanger (search on Market) is better (need rooted), change both system fonts are Droidsan.ttf & Droidsan-bold.tff

Smali file has defferent with older version (cm7-cm9) to managed. Im just tried some ways like :
1. Changing background statusbar on layout/status_bar and layout/super_status_bar.
2. Changing value color of status_bar_background and system_bar_background on value/drawables
So there is nothing! I'm tired.. i need the light to guide me.. thanks before.

nope, it's an hack, you need change system files...
Does anyone know a mod to edit the navbar, while on rooted miui 11 android 10 with magisk and xposed.
Like edit the height, add buttons, transparency etc.
