I just bought this phone, my previous one was Xiaomi MI 6. I knew that Anti-Rollback measures could be present on newer devices. I checked it in fastboot mode and the variable anti is set to 1, so it looks like it is present, right? Now I am wondering: what exactly can't I do with Anti Rollback active? I'm interested in:
Flash a Custom Recovery like TWRP
Flash a Custom ROM
What I'm not interested in is flashing a previous version of the Stock ROM.
Recap of my current phone state:
Anti(fastboot): 1
Android Version 9PKQ1.181121.001
MIUI version: MIUI Global 10.2 Stable 10.2.3.0 (PFAMIXM)
Model name: M1902F1G
Kernel version: 4.14.83-perf-gf5aaf38
Security patch level: 2019-02-01
I have read the big xda article on ARB, but still, I don't understand why people is not talking about this in the forum. The only 3 threads available have mixed opinions about the safety of flashes with anti=1.
Thanks in advance

hi I'm a European user, can I exit from the beta program and install the stable version?
No
Surely you can, but you must flash the stable version with the same level security patch, which is required by Google.

Right what you say, but it will pass on a stable firmware version where GPay will not work in the first place.
I have Redmagic 3s (Bought 2019 - India). Phone works just fine and no issues with it. Currently on Build NX629J_V1S_ENCommon_V.217. Android 9.
Nubia has been providing Google Security Patches with latest one begin August 2021.
I used to do lots of custom roms etc many year back. Now lost the touch, but know the basics.
I am looking to refresh my RM3s to Latest Android Version (11 or 12 and even 13 will also do ).
Based on my research on this forum, It looks like that we need to first flash Chinese Stable ROM, then flash recovery and then followed by Other Custom ROMs. Is this correct?
Is there a way to directly Flash a recovery without need for flashing Chinese ROMs? Also which Custom ROM would you suggest? I am looking for completely Stock android.
I am more confused than before on flashing the ROMs. Help is much appreciated.

Rom china can install twrp and root with easy. Rom global cannot use twrp
I want to root my Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro but didn't really manage to find any guide here on how to do it.
I rooted all my devices until now so I know the general drill.
As far as I know I must get TWRP and install it on the device using the fastboot adb tool and then install magisk from TWRP.
Is there any generally known guide that works I can use?
I am afraid mostly of getting the wrong TWRP version.
At the moment I only unlocked my bootloader from the developer settings.

I also noticed there are multiple versions of the device(sweet, mojito...etc), what is the difference between them?
EDIT1: I found out how to find the codename of my device, it's sweet
For anyone wondering how to do it, just install Device info HW and check under System the value of Device

Hello is this safe? Am i allowed to install this firmware? Please reply no bug at all?
I have recently bought Samsung Galaxy A12 SM-a127f Android 12 Binary 7
I want to install Lineage OS and GSI image on it for some reason.
According to best of my knowledge, there is no official custom recovery (TWRP) available on Samsung official website. Therefore, I have decided to downgrade it to Android version 11 but unfortunately no firmware of Android version 11 has been flashed till yet.
Note: I have already unlocked the phone by enabling OEM unlock mode and successfully flashed "Samfw.com_SM-A127F_XSG_A127FXXU7BVI4_fac" on my device
Please help me in downgrading my device and for the installation of TWRP on it
