Hey there 1+ friends from around the globe!
The fairly recent upgrade to OOS Android Q/10 has gone smooth for some but horrible for others. OnePlus acknowledges this and has released a rollback zip to install via the known 'upgrade' method. I've put this up for users that have depleted other methods around the forum to resolve their endless issues but can still boot into the system. I have no idea if it can be flashed in (encrypted) TWRP recovery (anyone?).
This will wipe your data! Make backups before proceeding!
Do not attempt this on a T-Mobile device! Thank you @Scott for the heads up.
This will bring you back to 9.0.4! Thanks for the feedback, @NIK3SH
Download the OnePlus 6T rollback zip and wait for the agonizingly slow download to complete
MD5: 54ede6b7887f295cf8564904693cda34
Backups, backups, backups! :cyclops:
Copy the zip to the root of your internal storage
Go to Settings > System > System Updates
Tap the gear icon top right, followed by 'Local upgrade'
Tap the "Fulldowngrade..." package you just downloaded
Read the warning and tap confirm
Wipe away a little tear as you see your precious data being viciously destroyed by a progress bar
Start fresh! Hmm, that does feel pretty good...
There's also a rollback package for the OnePlus 6 here.
I take no credits for this! I didn't test it either as I was one of the lucky people that experienced a smooth (beta) upgrade. It's just here for people that need it. If you'd like to contribute to this post by adding more confirmed methods to downgrade, be my guest and I'll add them to this OP with credits. Threads like these are handy to refer to instead of writing the same answer over and over in other threads.
I'd love to hear your feedback! Cheers!
Thank you for that! But excuse my ignorance, would this work for a converted TMobile to int. Version? Or I am stuck?
Thank you again

Of course that's a very good question (don't mind grumpy ). Sadly, OnePlus' documentation on this is practically worthless. It's as if only one type of this device exists while we surely know there's a difference. I believe it'll work but I can't make any promises. Worst case you just have to MSMTool it. Either way, data loss is ensured. Yay OnePlus! [emoji2357]

Thanks for that my dude! Will go ahead and back up my data and give it a try tomorrow if I am feeling brave and report back.
Thank you again ??
Maaaaannnn. (im in the southeast lol) i downgraded the painful way yesterday. Thats awesome that you have the rollback zip, though. Much appreciated!!
Basically, all of my themes are missing bits and pieces for OOS 10 and OP is super slow releasing kernel source, so ive been stuck with bad battery life and partial or broken themes. A few tweaks in 10 will be missed for now (better system sounds, GUI tweaks, better display settings and appearance) but ultimately, OOS 9 still checks all the boxes for me. Seriously, thank you for this!!

I just had a bad feeling about it so I decided to try given the plethora of small bugs and other issues on A10. Oh well, at least I keep MSM Tool at the ready.
i was about to report the same thing lol does not work, but i was able to recover the device quickly with the msmtool and i am back to 9 and rooted as well.
@Scott @juanshop Did you use the T-Mobile MSMTool from this thread? Or is there something more recent available?

No, I used the Int version and the hacked EXE so I would not loose bootloader unlock capability.

When you use msm tool, you lose everything. The bootloader will be locked, as well.
Thanks sir but after downgrade I went 9.04 to 9.17 but now I have no sound . Any thoughts?

I'm getting my z3c on the 1., and I'm very excited.
I have a question though;
How long do you think it'll take before we get root on this phone, to open up for some more advanced functions ? I know no-one can say for sure, but you guys migth take a shot based on your experiences.
This will be my first new phone in years, so I'm not in the loop about how long this usually takes, after a phone comes out.

Would be a first step but useless until we got a recovery with zip flash ability
Is there a dev actively looking for a way to root locked bootloader? If yes, does he have a blog or Twitter? I want to follow his progress..

If we had a recovery, that tool wouldn't even be necessary xP
I'm guessing Doomlord will, in time, come up with something. Doesn't he always...?
Though I do believe we need to find a security hole to even get a recovery working (correct me if I'm wrong here).
EDIT: I've also tried every one-touch root apps and various Windows programs. None of them work ;-;
Damn you, Google, for hiring exploit patchers with such skills!

Having bought all my devices over 6 months after they were released was probably much better for me than I ever realized xD
I'm tinkering with the idea of modding a stock FTF with root and whatnot and flashing it with flashtool. Anyone tried that yet? Or is everyone too busy looking for that one exploit they're unlikely to find?
EDIT: Back to the drawing board. Seems like things have changed a lot since I last took a look at an FTF.

Well considering most people don't want to unlock their bootloaders and miss out on the amazing camera, we can only flash FTFs (Sony-signed software).
(No system/boot write access, so finding an exploit is crucial.)
Looks like my Nokia 6210 will have to keep doing its job for a while
Here is a flashable zip of the new update for the the LG V10 T-Mobile H901. All you have to do is flash this zip in TWRP. You can also flash the 28.2 superuser too if you wish to have root and there will be a link for going back to MM just in chase you mess something up. Just click the links the 1. Link will be the 7.0 update zip 2. Link will be the 28.2 superuser zip 3. Link will be the MM zip if you mess any thing up.
I can confirm that this works because I have done it on my LG V10 H901 T-Mobile.

If i have to root it first then please provide me the link to root my V10 i'll be very glad.
Thanks in advance.

@popwar lol -- Take a look at the updater-script.
It is LG's and T-Mobile's software, so I don't care, but it is still kind of cheesy to directly copy someone else's work and claim it as your own.

@xXCoolGuYXx Well, it is a miracle then. One of us should play the lottery. Do you know what the chances are of two people creating a file that has the exact same sha1 hash when the file contents are variable? I don't either, but it is astronomical.
The ui_print lines were not something I copy / pasted. I made those up when I made the file. So again, the chances of you picking the EXACT verbiage and punctuation are -- well -- almost non-existent.
It is incredibly simple to dump a KDZ and make a flashable zip, even so, the fact that you are claiming that you did -- when you so obviously didn't is hilarious.

When someone asks you "Did you take this from X" and you reply "No" you are stating one of two things. 1) You did the work yourself or 2) You stole the work from someone else other than X.
You pick whichever one you prefer. In EITHER case I'll stick with the original dev and not the guy who got caught plagiarizing someone else's work.
As recently as February (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3281170) you were having problems figuring out how to properly edit the build.prop file so not someone other people should be depending on for their entire phone rom.

Perhaps you'd have better luck if you looked in the right place "dude". This rom is for the H901 which is the T-mobile version. It belongs in the T-mobile V10 subforum along with all the other roms including the one this is based off of.
As an FYI, XDA rules say if you are posting a rom you DID NOT CREATE it belongs in the GENERAL portion of the forum. Android development is for posts by the creators which is why everyone is claiming you stole it. Help. Don't Help. The "xda family" will survive.

does the bootloader need to be unlocked for this?

Since the OP apparently is MIA, and since I'm kind of in the first few posts, I'm editing this to provide the latest links for which we in this thread have our hands on, in hopes that a helpless, suffering, wandering soul who may want/need it, sees it.
Other firmwares may be around if you ask.
Also, provide if you have some love to share, since i hear FF also gave up on the A09, presumably to be in tune to Huawei's contempt.
I dunno. Whatever. That's what a community such as this is for.
We also exist here, so check it out if you don't find whatchamacallit here
Thanks to my guide @ante0, for instilling in me a desire to help just like he's helped so many (i read a whole lot by you, even when i hardly ask you things! ...although I'm world's behind his knowledge, to be sure lol!
Thank you, @nabril15, for being a real "mate" on this hobby of ours, refreshing to see someone who comes for what brought them here, and stays afterwards to help in every and any thing they can.
I know, i sound like a just cooked a rom or developed the greatest app yet, but if i didn't say it now, when? xD

For any flashing yes you do, there's a way to somehow make it recognize there's an update manually but you would have to search for that as i don't exactly recall how, and that way you wouldn't need to unlock bootloader

yeah, it's unfortunate but likely the case. It's the user/customer that has to suffer in the end. Spying via smartphones is done in the US as well. I that case we shouldn't have to worry

Hopefully will keep supporting their US versions, or send one update to change the version to European, thereby making it one less version to work on.
I know, it's not something they'll do..but

Is ridiculous when you think about it. Motorola is owned by Lenovo which is a Chinese company and US government gives them a pass.
Does anyone know, if you were to buy the INTERNATIONAL version of the Mate 10 Pro (Amazon) yeah, no U.S. warranty, would it get the updates faster than the actual U.S. version?
I'm thinking about getting the international version, since it has the bands for at&t (which I use via straight talk).

You should at least be able to rebrand to get updates. I wish I had done that. It will definitely get updates faster, maybe not the latest one. But better than none.
The US brand phone is still great without the latest updates. I'm not a gamer and I can do without face unlock
I'm not a gamer either, but, I'd like to have the security patches within a few weeks instead of months after release. Yeah, I know, you want instant updates, get an Apple or Pixel...but I see the Huawei patches released pretty much LAST for the U.S. versions of their phones.
I'm hoping after Treble is the "normal", patches will be pushed by Google, not the manufacturers or carriers.

Of course it's not just for Verizon. Verizon doesn't even sell the phone, and the phone's missing band 13 support.
The patch adds support for an MVNO that works on Verizon.
I know its highly unlikely but has anyone tried downgrading from open beta directly to this version?
I am surprised nobody has mentioned yet if security is being updated at all, the September one.

What are u saying. 7pro has band 13 and it works perfectly well on vzw.
My phone is Indian version and I have downloaded the version from Oxygen updater app and local installed this update but after update I'm not getting perfect black instead I feel I'm using a night mode which in not able to change. There is some brown hue to all over screen even quick toggle bar is not black even after setting the theme to black . Can anyone one day how to degrade to 9.5.11 or will this change after I get Android 10 update ?
Is this zipfile flashable via TWRP, or does it have to be installed via Settings->System updates->Local upgrade ?
I'm looking for a TWRP-flashable version of this, if such a thing exists.
Thank you very much.

I've returned back to 9.5.13 and am so glad I did. Everything just works here. Everything I had on 10 I have on Pie, all the features and I must say that 9 is far more stable and reliable than 10. Imo

Done the same. Sometimes, the grass isn't greener on the other side.
I am still on 9.5.13 and been debating upgrading even though my phone says it is up to date. After seeing the complaints about 10.0.3 I think I will just hold off. "If it ain't broke don't fix it" ... as the old saying goes.

What are you talking about? It is certified , since the 6T, for Verizon. You have VZW run your account in CDMA Less mode. You can set it online now even on your account.
I'm sitting on Band 13 on multiple towers right now.

You stand to benefit nothing, both of these variants receive updates quickly, so to risk changing over for potentially a small update (usually security) is in my opinion not worth it at all.
I have the UK/EU version of the phone and I wouldn't dream of changing region, I also had the 8 pro UK/EU was either first or joint first in receiving updates.
This shouldn't be any different.
I have the 2213 UK variant, i think A13 is not out for me yet? It is for india and it seems the A12 update in oxygen updater is dated newer than OTA A12 update

It's not out yet, but will be soon.
They'll all be on the same one soon.

Ah, ok. Yes, I agree.
Was just wondering if there was any "technical" reason (e.g. firware/dviers) not to do so.
On the 8Pro I was just (too) eager to test the lastest version back then, and that was not my main driver.
Thanks for your answer.

No worries man. As far as I'm aware they're identical. Can't see Devs making different drivers so ones better performing over the other.
Wouldn't have thought so anyway, the problem is just the inherent risk that comes with changing region, just not worth the hassle for me.

Agree, there isn't any major outstanding bug on 2213 that's been fixed on 2215 as far as I know. And, also, I had issues going back to EU ROM on my 8pro. Wouldn't risk that on my main driver.
