Hi All, wondering if anyone else is experiencing this on a Pixel 4 or 4XL? I have a Verizon 4XL and my notifications keep going silent and will only vibrate. I have to reboot the phone or adjust the ring volume for it to come back and it's still only temporary. I do not have any DND settings set for certain times or locations either. I started noticing it right before I did the latest November security updates.
Any idea? I do not really want to factory reset it.
My Pixel 4XL seems to be doing the same thing. Mine is unlocked from Google on Sprint. Same as you a reboot fixes it for a while.
Anyone else?
re choose sound in notification settings, and I guess u must have a clean tools in use often.
Mine is doing the same thing. About to contact support. It will work for a while then go silent. I do not have any do not disturb mode enabled. I reboot and it starts working again. That is the only thing that fixes it. I do not have to change a setting, just reboot and all notification sounds are back. Otherwise it just vibrates, even phone ring.

I've installed Liquid 1.9.2 on my wifes D1 along with a CHEVYNO1 kernel. It works really well. The only thing is while she is talking on the phone it periodically vibrates. It's driving her crazy.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem? I have searched the web and have found no solutions other than completely disabling vibration altogether.
Please help.

Thanks, but I've already tried that.
I've done some more messing around and discovered that it is the proximity sensor causing the problem. Whenever the phone comes away from her face the screen comes back on and the phone vibrates. Is there a setting for this? I've looked at all of the settings and haven't seen anything obvious. Does anyone have any Ideas? She just wants the phone to stop vibrating.
Thank you
I doesn't actually have anything to do with the proximity sensor. The problem persists even when the phone is on speaker phone. It also seem that the longer the call goes the worse it vibrates.
I've had my Turbo for a few days now, and I'm really liking the wave to snooze alarm feature, but today when I waved to snooze, instead of the screen going back off, the phone went to my homescreen, so I had to reach over, grab it and hit the power button, completely defeating the idea of touchless control. The second time it went off I noticed the unlock sound right before the alarm sound, meaning that for some reason the alarm is unlocking the phone. I tried clearing Clock data, toggling lock screen types, and rebooting the phone, but the issue still persists. The same thing happens using the active display notification to snooze. The alarm really shouldn't be unlocking the phone when snoozing, but I haven't changed any setting or installed any new apps since yesterday when it was working fine.
Edit: Factory reset didn't even stop the alarm from unlocking the phone, but I'm 100% positive it did not unlock it the first 3 days I had it.
I exchanged the Turbo for a new one as Motorola recommended, but this one is having the same problem from the get go. Is this not a problem for anybody else?
Moto Actions > Wave to Silence ON
Set an alarm
Wave to snooze or swipe to snooze from active display
Does the phone unlock or turn back off? What software version?
After the Lollipop update, I receive an MMS the notification shows on the lock screen as before. If I don't acknowledge it, the screen remains lit til the phone dies. The time out is at 30 seconds. I really don't want to do a factory reset of the phone... Anyone else had this issue and know of a fix yet? No fix for this, but the vibrate pattern for messages is gone. Now is just one long vibrate that is annoying. Why do they just take things out???
I had a similar issue in Kitkat. I don't remember how I fixed it but I do remember that it was related to smart stay and the fingerprint reader. I disabled both then enabled them or some sort of combination like that which seemed to resolve it.
The long vibration is freaking annoying. I want the shorter on back
Glad they give me plenty of things to try and fix.
Thanks for this post I'll keep it in mind.
When I receive a notification the watch vibrates but screen does not turn on automatically. I have light flow and I am able to set recurring vibrations to the watch but it doesn't turn the screen on. Has anyone had this problem before?
Side note: I wish we had more control over how the notifications are delivered to the watch.
I'm having same issues, driving me nuts
Anyone resolve this yet?
I have the same problem, it's really annoying.. I just wiped /cache, I will let you know if it works
EDIT: It didn't help, I still have the same problem..
Same issue. Worked after an updated and now not anymore. Android wear is failing the Gwatch R. Instead of working on new features or taking away existing ones google devs need to fix the basics first.
Hey guys. Loving my note 8. I do have an issue. When watching videos, I lose sound. I discovered that the do not disturb button is enabled. I disable it and hours later it activates itself, without any input. If anyone has had the same issue, let's talk.

You don't by chance have the Do not disturb option "Turn on as scheduled" activated in your settings do you?
This is happening to me as well, in the afternoons the 'DO NOT DISTURB' 'Enable now' setting is automatically turned on
My 'Enable as schedule' setting is turned off.
I have also noticed my DND randomly turns on, and then it takes me several times of attempting to turn it off before it will finally stay off. This sometimes happens several times a day. I do have a schedule in place, but my settings within that also fall out - such as allowing alarms or my favorites. The alarm option will stay stuck in the off position until I end up having to restart the phone. Once the phone restarts then I can make the changes I want, but not sure why I have to keep doing this. My fear is that this setting will switch while I'm sleeping causing an alarm to not go off or I'll miss an emergency call. I could just not use this feature, but I really like it and wish it would work correctly. I never had this issue on my S7
I am having the same problem after the most recent update. DND turns on all by itself every afternoon.
I tried using the schedule figuring it might force it to do what I WANT it to do, to no avail. It still automatically turns on every afternoon?
This issue even happens in Safe Mode
