1. Download the ROM and Boot Image
2. Flash the Boot Image and Dtbo Image

Your best bet would be to just use the flash-all.sh This leaves no room for error

Any way someone could give me directions on how to do that? Never done it this way before. What will happen if i flash ROM per instructions and both slots do not have factory image flashed on them?

Just unzip the factory image. Then run the flash-all.sh (on Linux) or the flash-all.bat (on Windows) while the phone is connected to your PC in bootloader mode. Make sure you have the latest Android SDK installed. The scripts do all the work.

Thx for root i need to patch the boot.img with magisk ?
PS : issues rooting.... patching ok but impossible to unlock my device after rebooting

coming from lineage, I factory flashed back to stock one slot and had problems booting. Stuck in fastboot loop
with quick edits (bold is what I added) in the flash-all.bat to flash both slots and following install instructions, no issues. Havoc running very smooth

Same performance and battery as stock. I use stock kernel. Custom features are noted in the OP.

Why not?
Wiped/formatted data and flashed firmware, rom, gapps as per instructions but stuck on boot animation for 30 minutes or more.
It's a beautiful boot animation but would be nice if the phone actually booted into system.
Any ideas?

You flashed magisk before first boot? Are you sure you formatted data ( type yes )? Which Gapps?

Tried with both flashing magisk before first boot and no magisk. Yes, formatted data. Used stock gapps, can try another gapps and see if it makes any difference.

Front portrait in miui cam works only in miui.
Our ports depend on Android One devices, which dont have front portrait.

Do this step by step :
1. Boot to twrp and wipe everything apart from OSB other
2. Format data with twrp and type yes
3. reboot to recovery (from twrp to twrp)
4. Flash firmware 8.6.12, Rom and Gapps (full, nano, Pico or mini)
5. Boot to system
6. Set it phone up
7. Reboot to twrp and flash magisk-16.0.zip
8. Wipe cache and dalvic and boot to system
9. Enjoy HavocOS

Portrait mode does NOT working ( miui camera ) . Doesn't do any effect as portrait, even i choose to shoot portrait mode .

Dude, I was asking NeoArian coz he is the one porting both.
Try to understand a question before jumping in. I've ported more ROMs than you'll ever install. I'm just asking him from porting perspective, he must have some strong reason to port havoc as well as RR as well as more in pipeline maybe.

Nano/pico always is recommended.
Should we wipe before and during flashing?
FYI: I didn't get the setup wizard with nano gapps when testing previous versions of this ROM.

Not sure. I tried with nano and stock. Setup Wizard worked with stock for sure. I just used TB to remove all of the Gapps I don't use.
So the system UI keeps crashing and when I try to enter twrp and enter my pin, it is just stuck at decrypting. Any advice?

How can I remove my pin, in settings, before the UI crashes, there is no option to change from pin to swipe unlock...

ROM is uploading now, probably about 5 to 10 minutes. I do not use the Axon 7. I am currently on the OnePlus 7 Pro. I am not sure about that kernel question but I think it will work. If not then he needs to update to the newest kernel source.

Well, I flashed this rom but it has a problem, my sim cards are not detected, it's the first time this happen to me, because I test a lot of roms.

You must have flashed factory image to both sloth prior to your fist install
1. Download the ROM https://bit.ly/38syhzw and boot image https://bit.ly/35iaP73
2. Flash the boot image https://bit.ly/35iaP73 (this allows stock recovery to flash unsigned rom zip since we dont have TWRP)

3. Wipe userdata (required for first Havoc 3.0/Android 10 install.)

5. Use volume keys and power button to select Enter Recovery

AOSIP is good, but status bar is always messed up, either on the lockscreen or homescreen

Can you elaborate more on the aosip status bar issue? I don't recall noticing a problem

There's a space in between the status items on and off, never happened to any other ROM I tried. instead of a dot on the status bar, it is just blank space. example the VOlte sign

As much as I don't want to redo all my apps/settings now and again with Q this close to prod, I am super excited by this. I am just wondering about the instructions. No wiping instructions before installing the OS .zip?

Thanks. I was hoping just cache and data (Just data is even better - that's an entire TWRP check mark saved if coming from August stock rooted as opposed to a pre-install factory reset or flash of system/vendor/radio.
Just tried installing this ROM and it's awesome. Process went very smooth. I love how buttery smooth it is and how great it runs so far. It has lots of nice customizations. Thanks for bringing this to our devices.
