Hi all!
I got my 9T Pro recently and was checking the available ROMs, but could not get what are dealbreakers for me right now... so I'd like to ask if there's any ROMs that are working good with AA and voice match?
I tried:
- EvolutionX 3.3 -> AA works, but really slow (the lower bar is not drawn, the phone also gets very slow while connected to the car - as soon as I disconnect everything is back to normal)
- LineageOS 17 -> phone just reboots or gets stuck on a black screen
- MIUI.eu -> using this right now, and AA works good, but voice match doesn't so I have to type the addresses on the car
All on Android 10. Would it be better to downgrade?
Just downloaded Pixel Experience 10 unofficial, will try it also.
Thanks!
An update: I tried PE with the same results.
Turns out I was using MIUI.eu weekly, with stable AA and voice match works, so I'm staying with that for now.

Hello XDA,
I'm having issues with my Android Auto. I'm using it with OnePlus 7T Pro (with the latest OOS 10.0.13 and the latest AA 5.9.604634).
After a click or few inside an application (no matter if it is a Phone, Spotify, Waze,...), the cursor disappears from the app. I can control the bottom bar only - that one works flawlessly. When this happens, the application still normally works, it doesn't freeze or anything, I just cannot control it. It behaves the same wired and wireless.
I recorded a quick video presenting the issue:

The thing is, when I tried it with Samsung Galaxy S8 and there were no issues, so it looks to be something wrong with my OnePlus.
Do you have any idea how to troubleshoot this? How to find out what is causing it and possibly how to fix this?
I tried to delete all data from AA application on my phone, but no luck.
I'll be happy for any advice, thank you.
Issue fixed by installing AA AIO TWEAKER link
Not sure what exactly it did to fix it, I just enabled wallpapers and removed speed limitation. I had 6 taps limitation disabled at first and thought this is what helped, but I re-enabled it and the interface still works as expected
Same bug with my OnePlus 7T, I tried to back to version 5.8 and works for a while, but then it failed again. I reset my phone to factory default and seems to working fine now, and upgraded to Android Auto 6.0
I was wondering if anyone has tried Android Auto on their Mi 11 Ultra running the China ROM with Google Play Services installed. I tried on my car and kept getting a "no installed apps work with this USB accessory" message. I am reluctant to flash the Global or EU ROM as I heard there are other issues associated with those and the China ROM is the most polished. I don't really have any other issues aside from this so I was wondering if we could arrive at a workaround or fix.

Hi all guys, I've been missing a long time from here, so please be care enough to forgive me if I posted the thread in the wrong place.
I'm currently using Android Auto and enjoying very much the amazing work made from Gabriele (AAAD, of which I payed the PRO version in order to help the developer's job).
I'm running AA version 6.3.611314 (downgraded from 6.4, because otherwise AAAD didn't work, since AA 6.4.... doesnt' let you show the apps installed apart from the official ones); Ford Focus Active with Sync 3 updated to 3.4 version, a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra5G (European) with Android 11.
Everything works fine, even AAAD installed programs.
The only problem is that every time I unlock the phone it disconnects from AA and then it starts again from the beginning. I opened the DEv Options in the phone settings and chose as standard setting for the usb - File transfer / Android Auto.
My question is: Why this disconnections happen and HOW can I fix it? I currently drive with the phone unlocked and, useless to say, it doesn't charge as much as it would if the screen had been off. I alredy tried with other cables, even with a Sam S9+ original one.
Thanks in advantage, any help is appreciated.
Same here, S10+ latest official, AA 6.4.611714-release, Ford Sync 3.x .
Doing so for about a week (or some more). At phone unlock, AA is crashing to Sync interface, and phone is asking for permissions in order to start Android Auto again (need to press Allow, otherwise AA will not start!)
Thx!
Same here , s10
It'd be nice to know whether the problem starts from the phone version , the AA version or from the car itself.

Guys, Google just updated the discussion thread three days ago:
Thanks for all the reports. We informed the Samsung team and they have applied a fix on an upcoming upgrade as part of the regular July maintenance release to resolve this issue. Please keep checking for system updates on the device.

Since I upgraded my Verizon S21 Ultra to Android 12, I can no longer use the wireless screen mirroring on my Kenwood ddx9906xr headunit. It worked perfectly fine before I upgraded, so I'm guessing it has to do with Android 12. I re-tested it using my old Note 9 running Android 10 and it still works. I also tried several different apps to mirror, but nothing worked. I normally just use the smart view from the swipe down menu. Anyone have any idea why this is happening, and what might be done to fix it?
I am also having the same issue

Hello everyone!
Got my Note 12 Pro a few days ago and biggest issue I have is with the bluetooth connection.
It paired with no problems, I have the Galaxy Wearable app and the plugin, it works fine for a bit and then randomly disconnects. It can work for 10 hours or disconnect 3 times in one hour.
Noticed on some other forums people complaining about bluetooth issues on other Xiaomi phones.
The watch, app and plugin are all on the latest version. The app has all permissions and zero restrictions on battery saving.
The phone is running MIUI Global 14.0.8 on Android 12.
I tried AVRCP 1.3; 1.4; 15 (default) and 1.6. MAP 1.2 (default); 1.3; 1.4. Switched between them trying every combo, none of them is stable. It never tries to automatically reconnect.
The watch worked flawlessly with my Moto G8 Plus. Sometimes it would disconnect (maybe once a week), but it automatically reconnected in a matter of seconds.
Has anyone figured a solution to the problem? I'm assuming I'm not the only one who has this issue.
Thank you!
Same problem for me, miui 14.0.2 on android 13.
Poco X3 pro.
No idea what to do...
Fixed the problem with a new phone. Got a Moto G73, the watch stays connected like it should. No trying to say something bad about the Xiaomi, I really liked the hardware of the phone, it's really good "bang for buck", but the Bluetooth and other small nuisances in the software made me go back to Moto.
