I tried to flash many roms on my cell without any succes, so i wonder if anyone can tell me wich rom should i install via original recovery sideload, I got an xt1063 type MOFB9 ON TITAN_UMTS:4.4.4/kxb21.85-23/21
Please i know i can flash and downgrade many roms via fasboot,or custome recovery twrp or pholz, but i want to know, if in original, i got the latest , or what would be the next rom to flash acording to the system i have. thanks for the help.

Thank you sir, but i see this roms end in xml, wich i think are for flashing via fasboot? if im wrong please correct me, im looking for the ota original to flash via original recovery.

thats correct these are via ADB mfastboot (which ignores OTA fingerprint check) as flashes full firmware, not the ota.zip which is only a smaller (not full firmware) update
ota.zip is NOT full firmware, so will not fix a corrupted / altered or non stock firmware
but you say you've flashed many roms.... you need to be on correct rom and matching recovery and also un-rooted to flash a OTA.zip as it checks Recovery version and the build fingerprint inside /system folder of original stock rom. if any of these mismatch it will fail.
also (apologies if wrong) but dont you believe your phone to be corrupted or read only hence why you cant flash images?

Chanses are my phone its corrupted, i had the hope that a mayor ota, such a 5.0 (not5.0.2) would rewrite the phone and fix it, as the olny option i have not be able to tried was install an original ota or rom via recover sideload. I got recovery KXB21.85-23. Are there any fixes for read only out there? because i have found non....

what error do you get via ADB when you flash?
can you remember what was the original firmware on phone as several for xt1063
or if boots the system version in about phone

Phone wont boot, its gets to the point where a blue m apears the goes to a blank screen, when flahing a rom via fasboot, all seems to get right but after restart is like nothing happened, i go back to the same state, same thing happens with twrp or philz, if you want to help, we can continue here but your more then wellcome to read this (nevermind i see you allready did)
So let me make a backup of twrp and see if i can post results, thanks allot, iveen waiting to fix this for so many days now.

ok ii'm thinking corrupted partitions too.... but if you are willing to try i've made a xt1063 easy installer script for you to try now normally i work on xt1068 and would test on my xt1068 - so have NO xt1063 its UNTESTED - use at own risk.....
just stock firmware / drivers / adb and mfastboot ( same as my xt1068 script) I see no reason it should not be compatible.
download to pc / unzip to folder / read instruction inside

I repeat it YOUR choice - if it works- great - if runs ok but rom remains same would suggest somethings corrupt - if it doesnt work at all back to square 1....
now im presuming your boot loader is unlocked, as will fail if locked or relocked - if you use and get error please report what they are, i would have done 5.0.2 but its only 50% downloaded with a 1 hr+ to still go, estimate 2 hrs from time of this post until I can post a link

just to let you know TWRP is now 2.5.8.0 fixes some bugs cause older versions know to break permissions in Lollipop!!

I tried your easy install tool, brand new drivers, diferent usb port, all went smooth but after restart, im at the same situation. Funny thing, and ivee done this multiple times, after reflashing a new rom, most of them never give errors, then after nothing happens , i flash twrp and boot it, and all the files (the original ones , not the just flashed ones) are there intact, even pictures and music.

ok have you tried mfastboot erase userdata and mfastboot erase cache? from a command window?
i.m interested in the I flash twrp and boot..... does this mean you are able to replace recovery with a custom recovery ON phone
rather than temporary booting into it?

Yeah i tried those erase commands many many times and same result, i cant replace recovery at all, only boot of it, so when i do " mfastbooot flash recovery twrprecovery.img " then try to boot of recovery, i boot into factory recovery not, twrp, but if i do, "mfasboot boot twrprecovery.img" i can see the recovery img gets flashed and the phone boots of twrp. Weird behavior. So when i notice that i tried to flash a rom with mfastboot, and at the end i gave the command mfasboot boot recovery.img (the original rom recovery) then it gets flashed, and phone reboots, but i gets stuck at the motorola logo. This phone its playing hard to get....

Hi ! I have a specific question about 5.1 lollipop. If I install cyanogenmod 12.1 and then decide to revert back to KitKat, will there be a problem with bootloader, csc or anything else ? I never tested Android Lollipop on any device, so I'm very intersted to try it. Thanks.

Hey I did go back to kitkat from lollipop because it didn't run as smoothly as my last rom, but be careful when you do that. I did a full wipe with fastboot and flashed an older version of my recovery.
I hope you won't encounter any problems.

Too late but thanks.. I nearly bricked my device after something failed while installing TWRP. Now ODIN is not working and I cant revert to stock, install Recovery or anything else. It freezes somewhere and the phone is not booting but it goes in Download Mode. After hours trying to put ANY custom recovery I succeded in installing CWM. But that was not full success. I couldn't install any ROM including Cyanogen Mod 12, 11, N4 Elite ROM and etc. It always reported: Error in mounting /system, even after I formatted it. The only working ROM was one of these - http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...m-samsung-stock-4-4-4-rom-collection-t3124027 Now it is with this ROM, barely working, but ODIN is still not working, it totally freeze on one place, everytime at different moment. Samsung Kies also freezes on 4% on firmware restoration. I'm not very sure is my phone now bricked or not, it's working except Download Mode. At least I'm happy now that my phone boot normal even with KitKat, it's better than nothing.
Sh**t, sorry that happened. One thing you could do is for one get rid of Kies, it won't do anything good. Did you try to fastboot erase system, data, cache and userdata before flashing anything?

No. I used fastboot once years ago on LG device and it was kinda hard for me. I thought fastboot is only for old non-samsung devices..
Oh, there's plenty ^^ if you don't really know what fastboot is I suggest you google adb and fastboot, they are tools you need when you mess around with an android device. Here is the short version: Kies is Samsung software, you can't really do anything useful with it, and once you began surfing on XDA, you should have shredded that thing away from your computer (sorry for the funny use of english, I'm french )
On the other hand, fastboot is a protocol that allows you to send commands trough your computer (windows works, linux is easier, macOS I have no idea) when the phone is in... Download mode! For that you need fastboot.exe (again, google that) and a nice tutorial (plenty of those around) as well as the correct drivers from Samsung. One thing though, I advise against trying the command "fastboot -w" (you'll get it when you see it) because I think that is quite brutal. Better fastboot erase system, etc.

Yeah, I know at least this. Actually, I'm using adb almost everyday. Kies once helped me when my device was blocked (not bricked) and that's why I decided to try it, I really don't use it. And so on, if someday I decide to change the ROM I must do this:
1. "fastboot -w"
2. Install ROM from Recovery or ODIN, right ?
For now on, this rom is really good and it have the things I use.
I'd rather try "fastboot erase" if I were you. The only roms you can flash with Odin are te stock roms in .tar format. For .zip files, yes, use the recommended recovery.

Hi guys is title says its stuck on formation data (via recovery) and if I try wiping emmc (via factory mode) it gets stuck there.
It all started when I shared 3 apps superbeam,lucky patcher and busybox installer .as I was transferring I started installations them both super beam and lucky patcher installed successfully but in busybox got stuck in installation I tried to switch off by power key but didn't work so I powered off by small key (hidden near SD card) then restarted but got stuck on android logo (bootloop) then I booted into recovery for clearing data and caches but it got stucked there . then I booted into factory mode to wipe emmc but also got stuck there ..
Now here I am with uncharged phone , if I charge it I boot in clearing data and got stuck but if I boot in factory mode and try to wipe emmc it get stuck there ... Please help here I really need to revive it

Really sorry to bother you again but now I got it what and how to do (since I m new to Motorola) but after I researched I found I can only flash firmware it was built on so I just need to start flashing xt 1068 br version right? (I found firmware too) I just need pro advice please...

As I previously said (according to your previous android version means when phone is dead then whatever is the android version (5.0.2 or 6.0) you need to flash the files.)
For eg.
If (your phone is on 5.0.2) then
you need to flash stock 5.0.2 firmware.
elseif (your phone is on 6.0) then
you need to flash stock 6.0 firmware.
endif.
Note: Don't flash wrong files, else it's gonna brick the device.
Don't ever downgrade from latest android version to previous.

Flashing the factory image never damages the device.
So you can try again but with right things right files and carefully.

You can start without lock/unlocking BL.
**URGENT** i have my p20 pro 6/128 with 9.0 last version ROOTED somehow i found a article.. the root was success. Tried to flash official twrp with twrp app and then everything was like HELL.
If i let my phone boot says error! func no: 10 boot image. error no :2 load failed. i faced something simillar when trying to get into recovery sometimes.
I can get into erecovery cant format or download official firmware. I can get into fastboot, download mode. I am gonna tell you everything . every program i tried AND FAILED!
TRIED: multi tool for huawei ( i download a version i think its 165 something when i press flash selected the program closed)
TRIED: to FLASH like 10 times ramdisks, recoverys, CANT FIND BOOT.IMG.
TRIED: Re-flash 9.0 says missing zip files THATS IMPOSIMPLE NOTHING IS MISSING I AM SURE

1 found this post, and flashed all of them BUT there is not ramdisk on the files. i looked on two different firmwares which should i flash over ramdisk which doesnt exist?
first i run the command fastboot flash kernel kernel.img and i could boot into TWRP for first time. now i cant.
there are not errors for now. only if i boot my phone says phone keeping booting.

So you're typing a little erratic.
Can you get to eRecovery? This is your best option..
If not then you'll need to reflash all the parts of the OS back to the phone manually..
Beyond that you'll need a recovery method, not sure if it's a device of a program but it can usually help, depends on what is borked.

i can get into erecovery i cannot download the official and flash it throught there says error.. what else i can do

I get into Erecovery if i press download latest version and recovery after some times when i put the wifi pass says error. Error i got also on HIsUite when i tried to format from there and download the latest versio. So we go manually but HOW? i tried almost everything

well i did a lot of search if you ask me i download 5-7 different programs that can flash stock firmware. ONE seems to be legit for 9.0 RE-flash 9.0 which has commands on its script like this guy says and he helped me too

also if someone cant boot into twrp after the frist steps and see the erecovery just format everything from erecovery and then it will boot to twrp.

if you run FLASH.bat and says MISSING ZIPS then remove the update."zip" {ZIP PREFIX FROM THE NAME OF THE FILES ONLY} and run again the bat
the procedure may take 10-30 mins

i post i early post a link that helped me a little bit i think i edited the .bat script
also i made a video and post about rooting and everything is fine.
the problem is you can have twrp and magisk root both:/
either you have root and not twrp or either you have twrp and not root

I am facing this weird issue. Whenever i am trying to switch to my front camera the camera keeps switching between both the rear ones. I tried flashing stock, tried different roms, nothing is helping.
Please suggest a solutions. Thanks

very unusual sounding problem ...sounds like you tried to play around with vendor props and to make aux camera working
flash stock using miflash ...do it in edl mode using fastboot
fastboot oem.edl
when finished ...BOOT not flash orange fox revovery
fastboot boot recovery.img
*"might be different command depending on pc amd name and location of downloaded recovery
then use a persist restorer flashable zip you can.find in jasmine/wayne official telegram.group and flash that ..
them reboot and use as normal

I tried the process you suggested and followed every step. Even after that the camera is still switching between rear ones. Can't switch to front camera.

yeah no bro that is impossible even if nothing is impossible that is 99% impossible and you didn't do everything that i suggested
make a video of the problem and a video of applying my fix

Here's what i did.
Rebooted the phone to fastboot - used fastboot oem edl
Phone was detected as COM 10 in Mi FlashTool.
Flashed whole Pie Stock Rom.
Without booting, went to fastboot and unlocked bootloader although it was showing its already unlocked.
Used fastboot boot recovery.img and went into recovery.
Flashed persistrestorer6X.zip, found in Mi A2 telegram group, there is only zip.
Booted the phone. Tell me a few things.
Which stock version to flash?
What's wrong in above steps that i did?

what device are you using ?
jasmine or wayne
which recovery did you use ?
_what i can tell you is not all twrp recovery works or can flash persist
_ try to use orange fox but use another recovery that can backup and flash persist ..
press
mount button ...if you don't see persist partition option here the recovery can not flash it even if .zip seems to flash well
look for pie persist.img for your device according to if it is jasmine or wayne ...look for recovery that can mount, backup and flash .img files to persist

Sorry took a little longer.
I tried again with the process you suggested.
I used two different recoveries after flashing stock.
1. TWRP 3.2.3 unofficial
2. Orange Fox Recovery
I was successfully able to flash Persist using Orange Fox Recovery but it didn't helped. I was still not able to switch to front camera.
I tried to download and flash another Pie Stock Rom, same thing was happening on that as well.
Now i don't understand how else i can fix this. I have tried different versions of stock, i tried different recovery to flash persist, still the same issue.

flash stock rom but in edl mode , using Miflash. Use the cmd :
fastboot oem edl
_dont use custom rom
_dont flash in normal fastboot
the only way this problem could be happening is if you were trying modifications in vendor and when you flash a new rom it doesn't overwrite the changes because it is modifying only vendor ...flashing custom roms in recovery won't help , neither will stock in fastboot mode . Only edl mode .... furthermore directly after flashing stock ...flash persist ...that way you start 100% fresh ..if it still doesn't work it is hardware failure
but i can do nothing more for you unless you send videos or photos of you following the steps and the problem with the camera .
**if you know how try removing back and enter edl with testpoint ...flash ... disconnect cameras and reconnect them ... then start phone
***if you remember what you changed just change it back ( did you try modifications? , what did you do ?)

no problem man glad you succeeded ... probably it worked but after flashing persist everything usually starts working Normally after a few reboots ..so probably by then it was when you flashed derp

today i experienced a funny situation ...i took the new stock update for wayne and then i had the same camera problem ..
after thinking a little i realised it was after uodate so i had to just reapply the api2 for camera and then it started working normally so in future before going the long way make sure to enable api2 again after you update or flash a new thing . if camera works great if not take the long way...
