Hi, I've a problem with my fingerprint scanner on my huawei p9.
First I thought it was software problem, so I have make clean install (with TWRP, wipe all and install via HuRupdater)
It doesn't help.
I've replaced the scanner and it worked half day and stoped working again.
Any help?

Hi,
i flashed my Pro and unfortunately wiped the persist partition. After booting everything worked fine except the proximity sensor. I searched the internet and found a solution to flash the persist_1.img. After flashing the persist_1.img the Pro crashed again and again with the blue LED on. The only way to use it was wiping the persist partition and reinstalling, but now i have no proximity sensor.
Is there any solution to get my proximity sensor back?
Thanks!
Edit: Unfortunately i am not allowed to post links...
Solved. I flashed 1.9 with qfil and after that installed aicp.
Thats the short Version, it took me 5 hours at least...
Hi guys, i bought a zuk z2 pro 6gb ram /128
it came with android 8.1 aex 17/11 version, i can see that something was bad because i didn´t get lte, it was just update the baseband...
but i always experienced this problem with the fingerprint :
when phone is screen off and maybe sleeping or idle, to unlock the fingerprint i have to put the finger for some seconds that is normal to aply unlock, with phone unlock if i turn screen off and put my finger again it just takes less than 1 sec to unlock it, it works normal
so problem here is when phone is screen off sleeping or idle, the fingerprint don´t work as it should be
some user recomend me to start from begining so i qfil 1.9 ( and here in the original rom, there is no fingerprint problem ) then ota system updates till 2.5.462st, then i update by recovery ota ZUI 3.1.218, unlock bootloader, twrp, wipe , data cache dalvik and system and i installed aex 4.6
but in 4.6 this problem started again, updated to 8.1 aex and still the same
so guys what i am doing wrong?
can you guys please help me
thank you
Yesterday, I upgraded to Pie, which was a bit of a pain. Now I cannot complete the finger print registration anymore:
Enrollment was not completed
Fingerprint enrollment didn't work.
Try again or use a different finger.I also ran FPTest in the *#*#miui#*#* menu. Here as well, I cannnot complete the enrollment process. It gets stuck at:
11 touches: 88%
Any idea what may be the problem?
Note that my A2 is rooted, with Magisk. Temporarily (without reboot) deinstalling it did not help.
Hey guys,
So basically my camera stop working. Two days back update the phone to the latest firmware (Android 9) and security patch (March 1). Installed TWRP and rooted with magisk. So far everything was working fine. Today needed to restart the phone and after the restart my camera disappeared. In camera app I get just black screen without error. Same thing happen with third party app. Trying in safe mode, same results. In an app
iDevcheck under camera tab there is nothing, no information at all.
Ideas?
Bump,

If it was me, I would flash stock filmware with Odin to see if it resolves the issue, if it does not, it is probably a hardware issue, in my opinion, or maybe the camera ribbon cable has disconnected somehow.
''Can't turn on flashlight because the light is being used by another app''
This is what I discovered today. Still kinda think it's a software issue. At the moment don't have the chance to flash stock firmware.

Factory reset?
Factory reset did not helped either.
I guess something went wrong during the rooting process.
Hello,
a while ago I had an accident and had to replace several parts of my X2 Pro.
After I replaced the screen, the phone was booting properly. Fingerprint sensor didn't seem to work though.
I was running LOS 18.1 at that point. After upgrading to a newer LOS 18.1 version, the fingerprint sensor itself doesn't seem to be recognized anymore.
In `Settings -> Security` there is not more option to set up the fingerprints.
This has been the same for multiple ROMs. LOS 19, VoltageOS. Upgrading to RUI 2.0 firmware also didn't help. Lastly I installed the RUI 2.0 ROM, which also didn't lead to success.
By now I also replaced the fingerprint sensor itself, didn't change anything.
I'm a bit clueless, the only option that I could see working is to have a valid persist.img, where apparently the sensor information is saved. Could someone share this one? I'm also open to other ideas.
