Anyone know where I can find a proper black theme for EMUI10?
I'm using Maurydes Cyan Extreme from Themes Manager, but the settings and notifications are dark rather than black, and my eyes really don't get on with it.
I've tried Simple and Luxurious black spa from Huawei themes. The blank quick settings look great, but all notifications are white.
Surely there's a theme somewhere, or do I have to play a waiting game for now?

maybe there's a reason why I don't do the black pull down don't you think? the reason is that in general when you go to touch the system it causes bugs and in the case of the pull down touch it generates a bug in some notifications (dark text on dark background) for example in gmail notification you will have the subtitle not readable you understand? I have already tried and I have chosen to have bug-free notifications.

Enabled dark mode is mandatory for a correct theme work,read my explanation on above post

Make no sense what? My decision is : better a dark theme without bug.

Maurydes, many thanks for your reply. Just to clarify, I don't mind the dark notifications in your theme, it's just the dark quick settings that I'd prefer to be black, just like in the Simple and Luxurious theme. I much prefer the black quick settings, but don't like the glare of the light notifications in the other theme. I've attached screenshots. Hope this all makes sense!

System dark mode makes notifications dark grey technically, I'm assuming OP wants AMOLED black something that stock EMUi 10 doesn't provide

as I said before, everybody makes his choice, I tried to do black quick settings but this generates bugs and I don't release themes if I am aware that there is an important bug. in this case there are bugs and they are important so no I won't do it. in the screen you can see the bug in the subtile in gmail but there is a bug in the notifications also of the messages.screen dark and screen black

Hey @maurydes, I'm using Cyan Extreme too and I have a little problem with the stock music app: in the settings (single song settings, showed in screenshot), all the voices are black on dark background.
Sorry for this post here, but I didn't know where to contact you (this theme is amazing, however)

What is it?- Apps whose background colour has is changed from white to black.
Why is that?what for is that?what is the benefit?- on amoled displays it reduces power consumption as black does not illuminate the display. The apps work same as their normal counterparts only their background colour and font colour is inverted. It also looks cools if you prefer darker themes ;-)
Popular inverted apps are market, email, contacts and a few other apps that come with white background as default.

Well, exodus for nexus 6 has plans to add it in the future.
there are a few others that are also adding it; but, as of this minute, I dont know of any for the N6

I have a rooted Nexus 6p and I installed today Subtratum Theme Engine with the theme of Deity.
Because I do not like (dark text, sometimes illegible on dark background), I uninstalled it. It unfortunately remains the dark background in all applications (settings, wattsapp, contacts, messages, etc ...).
How can I restore the original settings?

You will get way way way way more help in the Substratum thread where the devs and many themers hang out.
This thread was asking for Substratum compatible ROMs
edit - you need the TBO theme compatible apps to solve the white on white issue with GMail and other Google apps that have hardcoded colors..

There is a fix to this. Go to accessibility settings and turn on high contrast text. Everything would be read able. I reverted to stock ui because the text looked awful, readable but awful.
Substratum works fine with Pure Nexus.

Subtratum is competible with XenonHD 7.1 Rom install in Redmi Note 3, the phone will hang at the boot screen right after install Subtratum Theme. anyone can help? thank you
This theme is inspired from Samsung Galaxy Note5 UI.
It is only for EMUI 5.0 .
Tested on Mate 9 and working perfectly. You can try on P9 and other EMUI 5 Devices and report if it is working or not.

Any way the themes will have an update today and i will look for this issue but please try to restart your device and report back if the key is still the same or not.
Sorry my mistake. After restart is everything ok. But I don't have reflections on that icons in lower positions like u..

It is Ok man. For getting the reflexion dock choose the normal version. i made 2 versions one with reflection and other without reflection.
theme is updated now to 1.1
the google now text issue is resolved as i reverted the google now theme to stock it looks better
