I'm currently on the evolution x rom and want to go back to stock rom.
My device is raphelin. I already have orangefox recovery installed. downloaded the stock rom of miui for indian variant and flashed it in recovery after wiping data cache dalvik system and internal. But the rom never boots. Also tried with miui eu rom but same thing rom never boots. What I'm doing wrong?

Bought a 2nd hand Samsung N7000 with CM10.1 Nightly Rom but my wife prefers the phone to be on stock Rom.
Can anyone kindly advice how to safely downgrade back to any stock Rom?
Details of device per attached photo.
Just flash any stock ROM that you (or you wife ) like
You can find here a lot of ROMs

Good luck
Don't think the current kernel version is stock so need to update the kernel before using Odin to flash a new rom?
1. Do all wipes and do format /system, /data, /preload
2. Reboot download mod
3. flash any JB/ICS/GB stock rom
there is no need to do anything else, pc odin flash is the best way.

Have tried to flash stock ICS 4.04 Rom using Odin but after flashing the phone got stuck at Samsung logo unable to boot
Did not do any wipes and do format /system, /data, /preload mentioned before flashing though
Below is the stock ICS Rom that has been flashed:

Have tried to flash the stock ICS Kernel but the phone still got stuck at Samsung logo unable to boot
Below is the stock Kernel that has been flashed:

Flash Philz Kernel using Stock Recovery http://www.mediafire.com/?0ubq6fl352rc583
(PhilZ-cwm6-DXLR2-OLB-2.7-signed.zip)
Then reboot to recovery mod, do factory reset, wipe dalvik cache and cache partition , reboot.
Now you phone should be working fine.
NB: Never Do any wipes/factory rest in in stock recovery, it can cause EMMC brick.
has anyone had any luck installing Joker via CWM? I know it was designed for Safestrap and I originally had it installed with safestrap, but after unlocking the bootloader and installing a different rom (PAC) and then trying to flash Joker again via ClockworkMod I didn't have any luck getting it to boot. I do like Joker as I find it the most stable rom I've found for the AHD, but I didn't like losing all that space having 2 roms installed at once. Just wanted to get feedback from everyone before I try flashing joker again (currently I'm at 4.1.1 stock rooted and CWM installed)
Mount the system before flashing the rom.

If you installed a custom ROM then you will have to fastboot back to stock and then flash joker as it is stock based and needs the stock kernel to be present
I installed with CWM you just have to full wipe then mount system and then format system and install the rom
Hello, I am trying to flash Chroma rom for my Verizon Nexus 6 but it boots back to the twrp home screen and does not flash the rom. I wipe the phone and the dalvik cache and all that. I was running Blisspop which encrypted my phone I believe. I wiped the phone and tried to flash Chroma and it would just reboot to the twrp home screen. I restored my nandroid backup of my stock rom still being rooted and it still will not flash. Have tried other roms and the only rom it would flash is blisspop. I am currently on the stock rom with franco kernel. Anybody know what is causing the issue? Thanks in advanced.

Make sue you have the latest version of TWRP (2.8.6.0) ALso try redownloading the ROM, may you have a bad download?
Are you also wiping system doing a full wipe coming from another rom
Yes, I have the latest version of TWRP. I will try redownloading the ROM. And yes I am wiping the system before trying to flash.
Today I flashed blisspop rom v2.2 + Gapps in my Mi3 using TWRP v2.8.6.0. But after the reboot, the phone boots into Stock MIUI 6. It looks like stock MIUI is installed. How to boot into newly installed custom rom.Is it anything related to dual boot or something went wrong during flash.
Probably you flashed the custom rom in system 2. Boot in system 1 via cwm and then flash the custom rom.
use CWM
Mi3 uses two system. system 1 and system 2.
TWRP always flashes in one system alone...
Use CWM recovery instead of TWRP. Even I faced same issues when i started flashing, etc )
check miui forums for CWM zip files.

Flash it on both systems otherwise it won't work
If you wanna you dual boot (i don't recommend) then install miui on both systems, wipe data, just boot to sys 1 and reboot to recovery, take the system 1 backup with data, wipe data, enable tdb(true dual boot), again wipe to be sure, install custom rom on both systems, boot it and rebbot to recovery, restore system backup to system 2 n data 2, done
This method is faily old so i don't know if that works or not as i don't use tdb
Hey ,
I am also Facing the same issue as above, installed a cfw but still get MIUI to load.
