I've recently purchased this device from China. Now i came back to India for vacations and inserted my Jio sim in it. Strangely, i can't call or receive calls just can surf internet with it. I noticed, their is no volte option for my sim1 (Jio). I've inserted this same sim on my indian devices, and they are working fine.
Any help?
You need to flash global version on your device if someone already provided in forums.

I was told the phone will support VoLTE andnI am going to buy it today from Dubai. Does it supposrt VoLTE or not?
P9 in general supports VoLTE, but operators let you use it usually only if you have the branded version.
for instance in EU if you buy a P9 from vodafone, it should be L09C02Bxxx, then VoLTE works when used with a vodafone SIM. If you have a vanilla one (like L09C432Bxxx in EU) VoLTE does not work.
Hello I got this wonderful phone, but no WIFI CALLING with T-Mobile in the US !
Things i tried
TMobile Card USA :
Huawei P10 - NO WIFI Calling (gone frome the menu)
[*]Samsung S8- WIFI Calling there and automaticly active
T Mobile Card Germany:
Huawei p10 . WIFI Calling there and automaticly active
So my conclusion, as soon Tmobile see a certain IMEI number it changes the menu. I assume this is not an information on the Sim card like the APN.
How can i change this menu to get WIFI Calling back ?
Or is this something on the SIM Card i could edit ?
worst case, change the IMEI Number, which i tried already to see what happen, but all the tools i found so far, not working on this P10.
Any Help ? Thanks
Very interesting find. I'm currently trying to get wifi calling menu to show up at all. T-Mobile might never support this phone because it's sold by US carriers

I have knox tripped but completely stock SM-N960F/DS that has Verizon VoLTE working perfectly fine !!!
I have an international SM-N960F/DS from ebay a few months ago. I had to install custom rom to get it work with Verizon. Hence Knox tripped.
Today, because of other reason, I decided to flash a stock rom to it. I took N960FXXU3CSF9_N960FOXM3CSF9_XSP which is for Singapore, and flashed to it and turned it completed stock except for tripped Knox. Afterwards, got an OTA update via wifi.
I have a already activated Verizon Sim and a Google Fi data-only sim, and they somehow work fine with stock rom. Verizon sim had VoLTE option, and registered IMS. I can make phone calls, text etc. obviously, there is no wi-fil calling or video calling.
I did have problem right after setting up the phone to get the sim cards to grab on signal and/or get LTE data turned on. took sometime to get them working, but once LTE worked, the VoLTE worked all the time. I did setup the phone without sim, and then put sims in there. in order to get signal, I had to get the phone on in a strong signal area for 30 min or so, and had tried to move sim around different slots or put one sim in first etc. I don't even know what worked at the end, but after an hour or so of different tries, now both sim cards worked well, and I can make phone call and receive phone call via Verizon.
Maybe Samsang finally did something to CSC to allow VoLTE. but if this is true, quite significant, as international Note 9 now works without any modification in at least Verzion if you don't need wifi calling or video calling.
I don't have T-Mobile voice sim card, therefore, I can't get if VoLTE works T-Mobile or AT&T.
Phone works fine with a particular network (Vodafone). When I insert a sim card from a different network, there is no reception and it says emergency calls only. However, it does not ask for an unlock code so I don't know if the phone is actually locked and how to input the network unlock code.
I purchased my Mate 20 X 5G from Vodafone UK and it works with other network SIMs. Vodafone don't lock their phones to their network.

My P30 Pro was initially working with my Three sim. Then, after a couple of months, it randomly stopped working and said emergency calls only at the top of the screen. I tried the Three sim in another phone and it was working fine but wouldn't work in my P30 Pro. Only Vodafone sims now work in it. However, I'm not entirely sure it's blocked to other networks because when I insert my three SIM, it doesn't prompt me for a network unlock code.
