Just installed One UI 2.0 but I can't enable the new gestures. The "More Options" in the navigation settings is grayed out
Are u using 3rd party launcher?
Noticed that just now in the Nova settings, that you can't use the new gestures with another launcher. Neither do the new animations work with another launcher. Guess I'll be working with the old ones until maybe it does

how do i enable the cube like scrolling for the app menu?
If you are talking about the 3D app drawer, you may need the stock 2.1 launcher, ADW Launcher, or LauncherPro (or other launchers that might have it; I'm not sure of others). Do you have any of those?
i have launcher pro
Go to the LauncherPro settings by hitting menu on the homescreen and go to Preferences > Advanced Settings > check Use 3D drawer
I know this is an old thread but it's perfect for my question. I'm using ADW (on the AOSP Spaceman ROM) and would like to enable the 3D drawer. How would I go about doing that?
Google....adw launcher
Not sure if I'm overlooking something simple or whether the feature doesn't exist but is there a way to lock all the widgets in place once you have got your homescreen set out the way you want it? I'm sick of keep accidentally moving or deleting stuff when I drop my phone in my pocket before the screen has turned off.
I know there is an option in CM7 to do this but is it something that is a native android function or is it something that ROM devs would need to incorporate? I've tried searching for something that does it on the market but I just get swamped with lockscreen apps, and not screen locking.
Hi!
I'm using CM7 + Go launcher EX. Locking home screen layout can be done by pressing menu button (while you in home screen) -> more -> lock screen.
CM7 default launcher have same functionality, as far as i remember.
regards.
Yeah, I know it's available in CM7 but I prefer the sense interface so that's why I was wondering if this is something unique to CM7 or whether it is hidden somewhere within all android systems.
It's a functionality of the Launcher. CM7 uses ADW Launcher, you could install this on your sense ROM.

Hi guys, I freshly updated to android 10 and wanted to active the new Google gesture controls. But I only can tick the Samsung gestures and the "more options" button is greyed out. Anyone an idea what's up?
Thanks guys in advance!
Same here for me. Just installed the update and don't see the new gestures + disabled more options. Also if you choose the old Samsung gestures they don't work.
Update: Btw I'm using Nova launcher. Could it be that they only work with stock launcher?
That did the trick, I also had nova launcher. With the stock launcher, it does work...mmh but I would like to keep nova launcher
How do I enable the one bar navigation with third-party launcher? I thought the April update would bring the support of gesture for third-party but it really didn't. Any way to force enable them?
you need a launcher that supports the manager, an example is the lawnchair

I was in Android 10 some weeks before returning to Pie (via MiFlash) and i remember trying too many lawnchers for gesture control... and any of them worked. If Lawnchair is working now... great.

I would like to know if you can help me solve this problem that when I install a new launcher the navigation bar is activated automatically and if I want to change to gestures manually these do not work
You need to configure new gestures on new launcher.
I am using nova launcher.
