Thank Q
I have Downloaded, and clean installed, coming from an android pie rom.
Installed, as per instructions, using TWRP 3.3.0.1, one at a time, in the following order, rom, pico arm64 gapps, and magisk, and phone booted.
Originally tried with nano gapps but failed to boot, but may have just been me.
All seems smooth but will update once set up and using.
I dirty flashed on los 17 b5. No bugs so far.
Would pixelarity mod work with this?
So far so good. I have had a couple of random reboots though, but it's beta, so can live with that.
Battery life has been pretty good , and on the whole the rom is pretty stable, and smooth.
I always back up my apps using Titanium Backup, but am unable to restore them via that, probably because of the change from Pie to Android 10, backup folder shows as being empty, even though it's not.
We're usually advised to reinstall apps via the Play Store if changing android version anyway, so no big deal.
Can we flash a dual speaker mod now, or should that have been done on initial flash?
Good work so far, thank you.
thanks
Does this rom support Samsung gear 3
Thanks man... Love crdroid build

I used 10, but have had a few problems today. For some reason, the phone just rebooted, but got stuck on the CRdroid logo.
Have had to wipe system, and then reflash rom, gapps, (10 again), and magisk.
Rom still worked when I rebooted, but for some reason a lot of the google apps force closed on opening, so maybe I needed 9 and not 10!!
Have uninstalled all of them, wiped caches in recovery, and reinstalled and all "seems" ok, at present.

Thanks for the reply. I used 10 and all seems to be working ok. Sound could do with being a bit louder but that might just be down to my age lol. Very impressed so far. Obviously some Samsung apps don't work and it cannot connect with my Gear Fit2.
I'm gonna reinstall from scratch as very laggy since the earlier problems.
Unsure whether to use 9 or 10 for gapps, but am gonna go with 10 and see what happens.
Gonna flash a dual speaker mod too, to see if that helps.
Try to use flamegapps or bitgapps... No random reboot no stuck... If you want use magisk then flash it after first boot, don't flash along with ROM... Hope it helps

I don't own any Samsung watch. But if you google "gear fit2 not working on lineage os" you'll find the solution. Apparently changing these lines in build prop to non Samsung brand works.
I'm using opengapps(nano) from official website and it works fine. No reboots no fcs

XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is built from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".
How to use the layers theme engine
To use the layers theme engine please follow this guide in the YouTube video, but remember you already have the layers app built in to this rom, so you don't need to worry about joining the community or downloading the beta. See the XDA page below for available themes (you can also go to the Google play store and search "layers themes" - if you install themes from the play store make sure you open the theme after downloading and follow instructions from there)

When install layer theme in googleplay, install in layer managers but not reboot and not install
Very nice. Fast and smooth. Not sure yet about battery life, nut seems good too.
The only issue I have so far is there were no configured APN's; had to set up manually. But other than that, great rom

Sorry Im having the same problem now.
In other words its:
1.- wipe (system, data, davlink, cache)
2.- flash the ROM
3.- Reboot
4.- Enter Recovery and do the reset factory
5.- Reboot
6.- Enter Recovery and install the gapps
7.- Reboot
I am right? there is no need to wipe davlink after the gapps? or something else?
Hi,
I installed the rom, but I don't have root access. Do I have to re-root the device after installing?
Thanks

Screen rotation issues.
Hello,
I'm new with ROM flashing.
After a bit reading and some trial and error I updated my S4 mini i9195 LTE from android 4.4.2 to this XenonHD 6.0.1
This because Samsung itself didn't gave me any updates anymore.
Also installed GApps... I think.
After that I had some issues. Cleared data and after that it worked.
I can install apps from play.
Also had some issues with 4G Internet. Didn't work
Sollution was changing Apn settings to custom provider (smartsites.t-mobile)
But there's another problem and can't figure it out.
My screen rotation doesn't work like it should.
When I reboot on portrait setting
After reboot I put it on rotation. Then it works for a few minutes but after that it stops until the next reboot.
In all settings it is on screen rotation. So also the home screen.
Downloaded an accelerate calibration app.
Don't see issues here and works fine.
Didn't have this issues on 4.4.2 and did not bounce my phone recently.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
Other question.
Are there any updates?
Can't update from my phone update.
It looks quite old to me. Also the security updates from almost 1 year ago..
XenonHD 7-12-16
Security patch July 5th 2016
Otherwise I will search for another better ROM.
Best regards Dennis

Try lineage os or aokp , they are both updated frequently and are fast and stable.
Edit: try the xenonhd nougat ROM , which is very nice IMO
I'm not responsible for any damage to your device of any sort.
By flashing this you take responsibility of anything that happens.
Process at your own risk!
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community
Requirements:
- twrp 3.2.0+ with treble support https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=78708796&postcount=2
- backup everything before install including efs partition
- wipe cache and vendor partitions before install
Install:
- Flash zip in compatible TWRP
- Don't forget about gapps (arm 9.0)
Google apps should be installed via recovery immediately after installing ROM.
If you reboot into ROM before installing Google apps, you must factory reset and then install them, otherwise expect crashes.

Unfortunately it's not so simple. So no new builds for t810/t815 at least in near future (several months). I focus on t710/t715 only.
as usual gr8 job ma8 considering. We got los15.1 stable finally seeing this beta makes me really happy so, keep up the good work...
This project is suspended. Maybe temporarily, maybe not. I tried to estimate how much time I need to get it stable and to be honest I don't want to have deal with it. As I know few developers are already working on lineage16 since november. Maybe they will upload anything to public. What about me, I don't want to spend months and some day one dev just kang my work again. Thanks for understanding.

Its very sad for everyone that you abandoned the rom, but I understand what not having the time and the energy means. Thank you very much for the build. In any case I installed as I said before.
I haven't tested it much but for the time being its running pretty smooth. I installed some apps and no crashes so far. Just an error message at boot saying something happened, after closing it everything OK.
I add some screenshots here.
Ill keep posting issues if I find any. Do you think I could compile your sources in my computer?

what to do when you are sick and staying at home? answer is simple:
new lineage16 builds are uploaded.
all hw stuff has been brought up except ril on t175, so no mobile network support yet. everything else should work.
links are in first post.

T815 plzz. I have no knowledge about porting roms, but if by any way I can help u in porting this to T815 plzz let me know...
sweet, i saw your trebel twrp in the other forum, freaking fntastic
#1. Loaded trwp and ROM only no root
Excellent power 97 percent remain after 13 hours
No 5gz WiFi. But because I had nothing else loaded I couldn't see the nvram_net.txt settings.
So I tried to load pico and lineageos add-on su, and had several boot up and setup issues with the play services kept crashing. After bypassing lots of stuff, gave up and reloaded, I was able to see the root permissions in the developer settings, but lineageOS extras shows only arm 15.1 no 16 for root. Thought that was an issue. Silly me I didn't do a logcat. Before I did #2
#2nd try wipe , load, pico and magisk 17 . no magisk 17 in apps.
Did a bypass load apps to get to desktop. Had a couple " this device has errors, please contact manufacturer "
Play store was able to install apps, but I had no access to my paid apps. See #1 I wanted to fix my 5gz WiFi files. And I use es file explorer pro, but since I didn't have root... Well.
Play store recovered my programs am going to try magisk 18 . BRB
Looks nice, a couple of google play store bugs, an actuall desktop black out.
In conclusion, awesome ! Work !
Will fiddle some more. couldn't get a logcat
Downloaded all my gapps, and I found an unofficial root for lineageos 16 in another forum.
Trying again. Cheers

Same here.
I got 5gz to work . I changed
Code:
ccode=US
regrev=69
Based on several posts over the years, I researched what regrev is in related to the ccode
It relates to what frequencies and I believe power outputs for different countries legal free and open radio frequencies.
The clues are in the driver for the wireless device source code.
Here is a broadcom driver for the 3.10 kernel
https://android.googlesource.com/ke...drivers/net/wireless/bcmdhd/dhd_custom_gpio.c
In there is a small database that should be consulted when you boot up your device and your country code should be selected when the driver is accessed
This has never worked properly for any lineageos based ROM.
Also most stock ROMs do not have this in their correctly.
All the files in /system/vendor/etc/wifi that have nvram in their name ( total 6 files ) need updated manually with an editor with root access.
As soon as I enter codes and reboot, I see all the 5 gz and many other networks that normally are too far away.
Kind of a chore to do this on every reloaded device, but that's what it takes.
Will this work on the 2015 model? I was able to flash it on my Tab S2 running exynos processor however it won't past the samsung logo.
Tried not flashing the gapps package to make sure that wasn't it... still stuck with recovery only. Any ideas?

Are there any general "gsi patches" for this device?
In the ArrowOS thread for ZUK Z2 Pro people report many bugs that were fixed by other developers (AEX, Pixy) before. Could we collect those patches as flashable zips so that we could use them on every gsi rom?

Arrow OS V10 no too much bug,GSI just is General System Image by AOSP,It's not a fix patch.
you try you know,For android 11 GSI go to:https://sourceforge.net/projects/andyyan-gsi/files/lineage-18.x/ download lineage-18.1-20201219-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvS-vndklite.img.xz Unzip flash the img to system Partition.with NikGapps-core-arm64-11-20201231-signed work well.

All I can say is that it's better than any other Android 11 custom rom, you can take two hours to install it and try it out, and if you don't feel good, go back to Arrow V10. Arrow V10 is really good, and I like it, too.(But Arrow V11 is ****)

So you confuse me
I would like to try LineageOS 18 and you tell me that ArrowOs V11 is better **** (on the site, however, it is written discontinuous). Today and tomorrow I am resting, see if I can find some time.
Do home button gestures work?
Thanks to the availability.

************************************************************************************
Fixed phone test calls have no sound, and the best match for Android 11 at the moment is Arrow-v11.0-z2_row-OFFICIAL-20200919-VANILLA + lineage-18.1-20210111-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvS-vndklite +open_gapps-arm64-11.0-nano-20210110-TEST,that it can compensate for the Arrow V11's UI defects.
I took some time and did the Flash lineage-18.1-20210111-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvS-vndklite.img.
The Flash of Gsi all right, for the GApps I had problems ..
With NikGapps-core-arm64-11-20201231-signed.zip the flash has stopped 2 times, twrp has closed with led on, 1 time the flash has given error 1 and once error 70, insufficient space (between one attempt and another I have always done full wipe, factory reset and redone the Gsi flasch).
So I tried with FlameGApps-11.0-basic-arm64-20210110-BETA.zip, twrp once went into forced close but after the second attempt the flash ended.
LineageOs works very well but the GApps despite the flash ended had problems: the calendar did not update, maps did not respond and the play store continued to give errors.
Gsi is a good and simple solution, I hope that the problem with the GApps can be solved soon, provided that the problem is not me

You can't flash GSI and then flash GApps, you have to boot GSI first, and then flash GApps back. All Android 11 GSI flash GApps except NikGApps core, when you log in to your Google account or restore factory settings, your phone will be constantly reboot. Only these three combinations will not reboot. PixelExperience_z2_row-11.0-20201212-1532-BETA-UNOFFICIAL + lineage-18.1-20210111-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvS-vndklite + NikGapps-core-arm64-11-20210105-signed

Thank you for the explanation, as I thought the problem was in the procedure, I flashed GApps without first starting Gsi.
A week of intense work awaits me but as soon as I can, I'll try again.

Safetynet fix:
1. After booting up, go to Magisk Manager>settings and enable MagiskHide. Also hide Magisk Manager.
2. From the modules section, download BusyBox and HideProps module
3. Enable Developer settings and inside that, enable local terminal.
4. Reboot your phone
5. Enter the terminal app and type su. Then grant it root permission.
6. Type 'props' then '1' and then 'f'
7. From the menu, go to Samsung, then choose your device, confirm and reboot.
8. Your safetynet should pass and device should show certified. If it doesn't, wipe data for Google play services, Google play store and reboot.
Changelog:
29-12-2020 : Initial release
31-12-2020 : Added F2FS support [Stock Kernel doesn't support it so you need a custom kernel with f2fs filesystem supported]

He fixed his issue haha. The problem was the gapps he was using. Nikgapps core version works the best and location services work fine with it.

Thanks for good Rom.
Installed today and most of things seems to work perfectly.
Two issues for me, it's Samsung Health and Galaxy Wearable, since I have Gear Fit 2 Pro, but finally found solution and it works.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.
What's working:
Everything except bugs
Known issues / bugs:
- MTP (Menu from QS doesn't work. Developer option menu does.)
- Bluetooth audio (audio only)
- SELinux permissive
- Encryption (ROM is decrypted)
Notes:
- For MTP, enable developer options and select "Default USB configuration".
Flashing instructions:
1. Flash S001142 OTA (do NOT use different versions!)
2. Wipe Dalvik, Cache, Internal storage and Data. (do NOT wipe vendor).
3. Flash ROM.
4. Flash Gapps / Magisk (Optional.)
5. Reboot.

I recommend upgrading to S001142 for safety reasons (since I'm not really sure about the changes Lenovo did between the updates).
tried this rom on a x505f.
A few issues:
1. I couldn't get it to start unless gApps was installed.
2. I also can't get the wifi to work at all.
How do i install the update safely becauss im worrying about bricking my tab

1. I didn't need GApps here. What do you mean "can't get it to start"? Care to be specific?
2. WiFi works OOTB here, but it may be due to kernel (highly unlikely tho as I tested kernels of all 3 tabs on my X505L). Were you on S001142?

I have same issue S001142, no WiFi on X505F, toggle just flicks on/off instantly.
However works fine without GApps (only because it wouldn't install, not enough system space Err70 apparently)
Same problem on my X505F, no WiFi. GApps worked well.
Can any X505F users send logs? I would like to take a look.

happy to assist if you tell me what logs/where to pull them from, someone on telegram group said they were updating the image?
I tried this on my X505L and I couldn't get it to boot using S001142 and TWRP following the instructions exactly, is there a way to log or debug it if it doesn't boot, or do I have to reflash the firmware and hope for a better attempt?
Hi,
I tried it on my X505F and it was not as easy as I thought. I already had S001142 and started with installing TWRP as denoted here:
[RECOVERY][TB-X505F][UNOFFICIAL] TWRP 3.6.x for Lenovo Tab M10 HD
This version of TWRP works on the Lenovo TB-X505F (wifi). For the TB-X505X, see this thread. For the TB-X605F/L, see this thread. For the TB-X606F/L, see this thread. The X606F/L is the second gen M10 and it uses a Mediatek SOC. #include...

Installing Magisk led to some problems, though, as the wipe of /data afterwards prevented me from flashing the ROM ("Magisk binaries not found"). I had to install Magisk again *and* create a symlink from /data/adb/magisk to /data/magisk to be able to uninstall it again (additionally to renaming it to uninstall.zip etc.). Then I was able to flash this LineageOS.
It didn't boot, though, but was stuck at the Lenovo logo (very early boot phase). I flashed it again, but it didn't help. What *did* help was installing Magisk via TWRP Now the tablet booted into LineageOS, but only with an Android popup that some internal error occured and I should contact my vendor.
After having a black screen for a minute or so the LinageOS setup UI appeared and I was able to set up the clock. When reaching the WiFi page, I wasn't able to switch it on (like the other reported).
Attached you find a logcat and the dmesg output. I hope that's what you need.
I would love to try this but i do use bt audio so i look forward to any updates. i dont think ill ever see this thing run anything past android 10, but im not too worried about that, i know its an old cheap tablet. are you able to expand internal storage to an sdcard? my number one complaint about this thing is it always complaining of low storage.
Hay dose anyone have a copy of the stock firmware (so
TB-X505F-S001142-210804_ROW.zip)
I had the exact same experience as this. Ah well... It would've been nice to strip out this Lenovo bloated ROM with something sleeker.
