Hi , guys.
I have bricked my real x2 pro (CN version).
I tryed to restore several ways (MSMDOWNLOAD, QPST, QFiL) , but none of them leaded me success.
The frail possibility is It still works in TWRP mode.
So maybe it is impudent favor to ask you,
Can someone give me the clean backup of its system etc. of TWRP ?
It seems to me the final way to resolve this problem.:crying:
You try this, install twrp-3.3.1-12-RMX1931-mauronofrio.img , flash official ozip file with this version twrp, then fastboot official recovery.img, clear data under official recovery. this work for me. but I lost modemst1 modemst2 fsg persist partition( bakcup and restore with Chinese version twrp 3.3.1-1107 zwsx), and brick my x2 pro too.
Thank you, friend !
The official .ozip is chinese version ?
I could'nt find one than for RMX1931EX.
I already tried to flash it from TWRP.
But it is for RMX1931EX not for RMX1931 (installer showed me just 1931, no EX nor CN), so I could'nt.

Flash the ozip

I tried to flash CN rom from TWRP.
Not successed.
flash the ozip
failed saying ,For RMX1931CN not for RMX1931.
TWRP version is twrp-3.3.1-12-RMX1931-mauronofrio.
I'm sure my phone is CN version.
I just want clean backup file of system by TWRP...
Try changing file system in advanced wipe from ext 4 > ext 2 then back to ext 4 before flashing CN ozip.

Hi,
Now I dont know how to overwrite recovery image from PC.
The phone doesnt be accessed in debugging mode.
Just external memory of PC.
And my phone wakes only in TWRP.
So for flashing, I send files from PC to twrp folder of my phone.
This is why I begged for the backup of system by TWRP.
Dude if you would follow my unbrick guide your phone would work

I Went totally nuts last night when i bricked my phone so i did figure out my self how to unblock the phone.
First you need to BE ABLE TO ENTER FASTBOOT it won't work without it and you need working TWRP.
First you need to go to TWRP and go to mount and unmount everything and disable MTP.
Then go to Advanced and select Terminal
type in LS make sure there is 2 Folders one called system and one called system_root
make sure that the system folder is empty if empty type in rm -r system
and rename the system_root folder to system using mv system_root system
after that boot into Fastboot mode and Flash your Rom for your Device using the Fastboot Tool
Hope that works for you guys.

o it doesn't. Twrp leads to data partition being encrypted. Whenever WIPE data partition to decrypt, all files are deleted. When reboot into fresh system, copy files again, and reboot into reflashed twrp, data partition is enrolled encrypted again. And no MTP so it's an endless loop.

[GUIDE] STEPS TO FLASH GSI ON REDMI NOTE 7 [lavender]
Many of us tried Flashing GSI on our Redmi Note 7 but failed due to various reasons even though it is absolutely bugless for Redmi Note 7 .
Here are the steps which i will mention below that will let us use the full potential of GSI.
Requirements :
Bootloader Unlocked
TWRP Installed
Ofcourse a working device
Installation Method :
First of all we need the flash the latest chinese beta rom.It gets updated everyweek. Since I have the cn rn7 i prefer to update the vendor partition everyweek for fixes and latest updates. But you can try on your stable rom too (I can't gurantee if things will work out on stable rom or not) .So, first of all be on china beta rom.
Go to fastboot mode and connect your pc to your device .You need to have installed xiaomi drivers to make this work properly. Once you are in fastboot ,open a terminal/cmd and type : fastboot -w ( this will erase your existing system partition and data and internal storage too , so make sure to have a backup if you have something essential on ur device)
Now considering that we have already downloaded a gsi i.e a phh GSI ..now for this case we are gonna assume its aosp as an example.. while in the fastboot mode type : fastboot flash system system.img ( here system.img(it can be of different name too) is the gsi img which you download from phh thread).
Remember : once the flash is completerd reboot to TWRP and not to system.
Once you are in twrp , flash magisk ( flash magisk latest canary as it has support for system as root devices) then press on wipe button of twrp,,,then advanced wipe..then tick mark on system and you will see repair or change file system option.Click on it..Click on repair and resize file system.
Now go to mount settings and mount system partition. Now you can flash gapps if you want .
After flashing gapps finally reboot to system
Voila! After in about 5 mins you will be booted to GSI rom
Post Installation Method :
You will have almost everything working after booting into gsi except you will run into brightness bug which you can fix by the following way
Connect your device with pc and enable mass storage
open a cmd/terminal on ur pc
type the following codes : adb shell
su ( in this case you will have to give permission from your device ; grant it)
setprop persist.sys.qcom-brightness 4095
Congragulations Now you have installed a gsi perfectly on your device
In this way you can flash almost all the gsi available on phh thread Hope this clarifies all of our problems.
Hit Thanks if I helped you somehow with this

I have no experience with GSI images, but I know in general that PIE breaks the encryption, if you roll back the security patch level. I don't know it this happened in your case, but I have lost couple of times my encrypted storage when I have tried to restore a backup of rom with older android patch level. After that, the bootup encryption pin is no longer accepted, neither by android nor by twrp, so the only option is to format data to remove encryption and start from scratch.
Were your miui beta and rr gsi of the same android security patch level?

Hi!
Did you not disable dm-verity and force-encryption?
Another question, the dev MIUI roms contain both the system and vendor partitions, right? How do you install only the vendor partitions from them? Or do you just flash MIUI and then reflash the custom ROM system? In that case, won't that affect dm-verity and encryption on the data partition?
Flashing correctly a GSI like in this guide; with vendor ecc ecc, will gcam work? Actually i'm on stock MIUI 10 and obv all working fine with a perfect version. My doubt is it.

1. It must to be in QUESTIONS & ANSWERS and not in GUIDES, NEWS, & DISCUSSION.
2. What exactly corrupted? There is system partition which is not file system And there is a data partition which you can call a file system
3. If the problem was in system partition you would be stuck in fastboot.
4. What steps did you make after flashing stock rom via fastboot?
For flashing eu beta ROM after flashing stock rom via fastboot, the steps are:
1. FORMAT (not wipe) data.
2.Wipe cache/dalvik cache (don't wipe system or flash a ROM without reboot).
3.Flash eu ROM.
You can try another TWRP for example: https://forum.xda-developers.com/Mi-9/development/recovery-unofficial-twrp-xiaomi-mi-9-t3905825 , official TWRP is based on it or from Chines team: http://files.mi-room.ru/files/twrp/cepheus/3.3.1-1030/recovery.img . Both very good.

Update: after format, it stucks on twrp(directories are not encrypted), and rom is not flashing at all I mean it is not writing to /sdcard (loading screen says it successfully flashed but not in the reality )and there are only 'obb' and 'TWRP' directories in the /sdcard also the twrp version is not even change by fastboot or flashing img after a reboot it recovers itself to build -0
I will try it with the Chinese teams's twrp build for this time
Solved with another twrp version
I would like a help, so I'm trying to install the rom via mi flash, but not installing the rom, it's in 500sec and nothing to complete the installation, luckily I was able to install via TWRP, however when I try to update via Android OTA 10 I get stuck in the bootloop.
need more info.
You installed Twrp I assume over the stock rom?
if so boot into TWRP and format user data. ( note this wipe completely erase the phone. but you have no choice it must be done. if you have files that you want on the phone, see you can access them via Windows explorer and copy them over to your desktop.
Basic Instructions
FORMAT /data partition (Important Never Ever Wipe System Or Persist!)
Copy our ROM to the internal storage or use external USB drive ( must choose which device to install from in twrp)
Install ROM, and anything else depending on rom if needed such as gapps
Reboot to recovery
Reboot to system and setup

I believe that @Agimax has a flashable mod on his stable page for changing regions, that seems to be a bug with the latest stable version.
Check here, and maybe tried pinging Agimax, if you need assistance.

Steps to install Treble ROMs on Galaxy J7 Prime.
Prerequisite:
1. Flash TWRP recovery. For Treble Project I suggest version 3.2.1 here because there is an issue about mounting /preload partition with 3.2.3+. You can try newer versions for your choices. If you see /preload error, Some suggested to ignore this error.
2. For emergency, please download Stock ROM here. If you accidentally mess up your partitions or consistently bricks, Stock ROM will reset everything back to start.
Needed Files:
1. Files from Project Spaget X here.
Exynos7870_CreateVendor.zip is to create /vendor partition.
Exynos7870_ProjectSpaget_V3.0.zip is to install necessary for Treble Project.
Exynos7870_RevertVendor.zip is to delete /vendor partition, in case of uninstalling Treble Project.
2. Treble ROM with ARM64 A only here. My favorite Treble ROMs are Lineage, Arrow and Havoc. I am currently using Arrow.
3. ARM64 GAPPS here.
4. Kraken Kernal here or here. Please download for Treble only. RC12 is universal.
5. Magisk here.
Step I Flash Treble project:
1. boot TWRP recovery
2. wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik, System
3. flash Exynos7870_CreateVendor.zip and reboot to recovery
4. flash Exynos7870_ProjectSpaget_V3.0.zip
Step II Flash Treble ROM:
1. flash Treble ROM ARM64 A only, no need to reboot to recovery in order to install the ROM.
Edit: Reboot to Recovery > Install > press Install Image > choose your Rom.img
2. After flashing the ROM, I usually reboot to system in order to test whether or not the flashed ROM can boot nicely.
2.1 If the flashed ROM cannot boot or brick or bootloop in Logo, press Home + Power + Vol Down to force reboot to Bootloader and boot to recovery.
2.2 Back to recovery. wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik, System
2.3 flash Exynos7870_ProjectSpaget_V3.0.zip before flashing new Treble ROM.
Step III Flash ARM64 GAPPS:
1. Choose Wipe > Advanced Wipe > choose System > Repair > Resize. Sometimes you need to do this twice in order to resize since the first time will show error.
2. flash GAPPS
Step IV Flash Kraken Kernal:
1. Mount > System and Vendor partitions
2. flash KRAKEN-Kernel-RC12-universal7870-Treble-20200314.zip (The latest version of Kraken)
3. reboot to system
I usually reboot once to system before flashing Magisk.
Step V Flash Magisk:
1. Mount > System and Vendor partitions
2. flash Magisk to root
3. reboot to system
4. run Play Store and set up your account
5. run Magisk Manager. When you press Tap to start SafetyNet check, you will find out that ctsProfile: false.
Please note that Usually it will be installed when you have GAPPS installed. If not, you can install Magisk Manager manually.
6. choose Downloads > search "SafetyPatch by hackintosh" > download and install > reboot This will fix ctsProfile false to be true.
Now you are done the basice steps to flash Treble ROMs for your J7 Prime. Any questions please leave a message under the thread.
Cheers, :highfive::highfive::highfive:

Please follow the attached screentshot.
1. In the main menu of TWRP, choose Install.
2. Choose your ROM.img
3. Select System Image. This step will tell TWRP to flash your ROM.img to the /system partition.
Note: Attached Screenshots #1-3 is to show steps to mount your /system and /vendor partition. Before your can do these steps, you need to flash Spaget X in the step I of my original post.
Hope this help.

You're welcome. I honestly never experience this kind of error.
I found a solution about this error on youtube.
This solution is to extract ROM file and edit updater-script file with notepad++.
Edit: try this Spaget X file. I followed this youtube tutorial trying to fix error 7 that you got when flashing Spaget X.
Another possibility of this error is Partition messed up.
I would try to flash stock ROM with Odin to reset everything to factory default.
Caution: Back up your data before flashing Stock ROM.
Follow the instruction of how to flash Stock ROM in the Stock ROM page or here. Flashing Stock ROM will also remove TWRP recovery and re-partition.
Hope one of this solution help, :highfive::highfive::highfive:
Thank you so much. I think the problem is I am using HROM, which has Repatition.zip, so I think that my partition has messed up, that the reason I face the issue. I will try to solve it with your idea. Thanks so much for helping me, if I can solve the problem I will tell you

That's great NEWS. You've managed to find a solution for No OS installed error.
By the way, for the deep sleep problem that you mentioned, I also experience the same thing. My solution is to press home button to immediately wake the phone up from deep sleep.
