I am curious about what you offering here ? Is this the most recent firmware ? I thought that was G965FXXS1ARD1 for the S9 Plus? But maybe I am mistaken? Are these to be flashed in Odin or in TWRP ? You really don't give much information here, wonder if you would mind providing more details about these roms????
Still curious what these files are - you have not provided any details about the firmware (I assume it is firmware) - to be honest, it would be a very good idea to offer some explanation for what these files are for - and maybe provide instructions for how to use them - I don't need the instructions but I am sure there are others who are a little new to this that might.
Not trying to be nit picky, but I think this would help make this a much more useful thing -

These are factory binary roms / roms used for testing
And they're usually used to achieve root but the bootloader doesn't have Samfail working.
Thank you - far be it from me to tell you your business, but it seems to me that a paragraph in the OP - a sentance or two like you just wrote for me describing what this thread is for would be a good idea. Just a thought. Good Luck and thanks for your work.

I don't think there's really anything new on the Note9 worth porting. The only really big feature is one that likely won't work on our devices, anyway. Most of what's new, we might get with our 8.1 update, anyway.

what are you talking about man, the price difference between the 2 phones are so narrow , and roms are made for people to keep their phones so what's the point of buying a new s9 or note 9 and install new roms on them??
maybe i didn't get what you meant but phones as note 3 and 4 are still getting S9 custom roms from developers!!!! why will devs move to new devices that don't need anything!!!
Will the note 9 Rom enable dex without dex dock needed for our note 8 that would be great

U should just take a look at what is going on around before such a brave statement. Most of good and best devs are upgrading their devices accordingly to their released. And I simply can tell U is it worth - my N8 was rooted 3h after I bought brand new but few days with stock firmware. And it was really surprising for me (but this is new device effect). But after 2 weeks...it became 2x faster, 2x efficient and longer lasting on single battery cycle. Sorry - for me (and most of people here I guess) most important is freedom! In customizations, apps, root access, firmware or rather custom ware.... If U don't feel it, U simply in a wrong place?
Hi ,
Am working note 9 port for note 8 , very hard to port beacuse not same android version and hardware s9 same hardware and may be easy to port , i need just help kernel porter devs, i write a lot of kernel devs but zero answer dunno why...

Hi XDA Cummunity,
I have my Galaxy Note 8 now already 1 year and wait since then for a LianageOS build unfortunately no one has appeared yet.
That's why I would like to create one by myself. But I have a few questions for you experts.
Generally, I would go through this guide (https://forum.xda-developers.com/chef-central/android/how-to-build-lineageos-14-1-t3551484) and see how far I'm coming.
I think I will get Problems at point 8 Prepare the device-specific.
My questions now in general:
1. Where can I get a suitable kernel?
2. Is there a way to take over the code from the Lianage OS build for the Galaxy S9?
3. Are there any other issues I need to be aware of?
Best,
Daniel
Tread u did send is 4 devices fully supported by lineageOS with all source code on github . U just create ur own linaegeOS with same bugs and same stuff like every other lineageOS made 4 xxx device . But without any code published here u wont be able to do **** . 4 Lineage there is need 4 expirienced developer who know stuff.

Hi developers and fellow modders!
I got to know that our samsung a30 supports project treble and so we can install any gsi(generic system image ) it!!
That means latest updates as well of almost any android too be it stock or not!!
I wanted to know why is there no post regarding this?
Moreover this requires twrp which is already available and the vendor.zip needs to be found and then we can install any gsi rom out there be it lineage, pixel experience etc etc... Pls help pls as there is virtually no development for android 10.

Hi , I have an A305F/DS , I did a flash with Odin to android 10, I had lost my signal sim and actually I'm under custom also without signal sim ! Any solution ?
Will the redmi note 9 be officially be supported by lineage os?
Yes and no it's a gsi open source project.the good thing is we are testing and some people stepped in lately with the same chipset. So they made some mayor steps in other groups volte, audio jack support.brightness adjust is still isn't working.volte support is a must have in country like india.i think the Caos project is ahead with support for the note 9/mediatek chip atm

Is it based on a GSI? If so, We won't be able to root it and we will get a Mismatched Status bar

Currently, Devs are still trying to boot roms in merlin. After booting and fixing stuff, official LineageOS shouldn't be far
