Fastboot flash for moto e4 plus Nicklaus (xt1770)

Hello folks,
Recently I rooted my phone succefully (Moto e4 plus X1770 Nicklaus),then after a reset my phone started booting into twrp only.
When I try to flash stock ROM via SP flash it boots up on USB connect. Now I want to use fastboot flash method to go back to stock but I don't know how to do it
Can anyone please tell me how to flash stock ROM via fastboot method thank you in advance

Yea... Thats the thing... For volte we need update but that we can't receive after unlocking... Is there any way to do this??

Yup There are two methods..
One Search for the latest stock rom and flash it secoundly if you don't find the latest stock rom lock the bootloader. I prefer to use bootloader lock method.:highfive:

Like using... Fastboot oem lock or something else... Nd are we able to receive update after that??

Hi... i dont speak english so...anyway i need help i have a moto e4 plus XT1773 nicklaus and the stock firmware i downloaded doesnt have the flash all command so i cant flash it, its there another way to flash the rom via fastboot? SP doesnt detect my phone

Hi Techno,
How exactly did you do it? it's been so long since i used to play with rooting phones. and i found one phone that made me wanna root. Moto E4 plus. after all the steps, now am stucked to TWRP. i tried to flash magisk but still goes back to twrp.
TWRP: twrp-3.2.3-0-nicklaus
instead of: twrp-3.2.3-1-nicklaus, issue file too large
i'm not trying to revert back to original, im still pushing to root the phone. but, im stucked.
what could i possibly have done wrong?

Flash US Cellular stock to Sprint

Hi,
Is it possible to flash US Cellular V405UA kdz to Sprint V405UA?
I tried but I am getting error "Error: not support diagEnable for laf mode".

I managed to flash it using LGUP and using Refurbished option, but now I got the network locked. Is it possible to unlock it back?

Wait, LGUP works now?? How did you do it??
Why not just flash it to the us unlocked version? Maybe try that firmware to see if it'll still be locked.

share your LGUP config man

I used the dev modified LGUP and dll, and used the refurbish option. The phone got flashed however it is locked now, when I put the sim it says Network Locked.
PD. If u need the modified lgup and dll let me know.

You can upload LG up file and your dll has successfully flashed your v40

Yes upload the ones you are using please and that way we can probably flash the US Unlocked Firmware and probably get Pie before Sprint officially does ._.

The patched version with that dll throws an error though (same one basically as the LG UP 1.15 cmd version does)
It tells you to use the latest .dll, because the LAF version on the device doesnt match the one from the .dll. And when trying any other .dll (G7, V40 Oreo (V405EBW 10f), or V40 Pie (V409N20c KT)) the .dll isnt recognized as matching (LG UP Cmd says it cant read the dll format, and that you have to install a proper one)
So how exactly did you do this?

I did it using the Refurbish option, the Upgrade option failed, but the Refurbish completed the flash.

so u didnt do anything to the dll in particular? You just downloaded it and it worked?

all i'm getting is fails .-.

Re-Lock Stock Bootloader on Sprint Oreo?

I've been trying to figure out if it's possible to Re-Lock the Bootloader on a stock rom and bootloader for a sprint unlocked phone running Android 8. I couldn't find anything in the forums. Anyone have an idea?

If you can get a hold of your v40's stock KDZ and do a refurbish flash of that KDZ in LGUP with the correct DLL's applied to LGUP's common folder so it reads your phone as connected it should wipe any modifications and reflash the stock locked bootloader. But of course will also wipe ur rom and user data. The guides on how to do this are here in the forum.

Mainly because Sprint hasn't leaked any of their KDZ...

Since you are unlocked you have a few options. You can either download and sideload the same OTA via adb in recovery, or you can fastboot flash the full factory image. You could also d/l the full image, extract the boot.img and try fastboot flashing that first.

Sure. Read THIS first. Then go HERE to d/l the correct image for your phone. There are instructions on this page as well. You can also access the OTA images (with instructions) from the menu on the left. Good luck.
EDIT: to avoid confusion, you want to use the OTA images for recovery. Use THIS LINK and read the instructions carefully.
EDIT 2: Make sure you have the very latest adb/fastboot binaries from HERE.

I just want the update link and install it directly via recovery mode.

You really can't update via stock recovery without using a pc to side load it through adb. Might as well be full stock with a locked bootloader to take the OTA :good:

Apparently you did not read the instructions in the OTA link above. Without a PC or laptop properly set up with adb/fastboot you cannot fix your phone. A rescue OTA via adb may not even work, so you need to be prepared to flash a full image. Not that difficult but it does require a laptop or computer. You are very lucky your phone is unlocked.

Sure.... Please go back and read my post above, including the links I already provided to you. Step-by-step directions are given there by Google on the OTA download page, those and are all you should need. There are also devoted guides you can find by searching "OTA via adb" or "rescue OTA". I also provided a link above for the latest adb/fastboot binaries. Let's see what you can do! :good:

Dude! Where do you live and what carrier are you using?? At this point I'm going to advise you to STOP what you are doing. You need to READ several tutorials FIRST and get familiar with how to properly flash your phone.

Ok, it's your choice but what the point of the firmwares? You would rather share something that's is useless to most without BL unlock and keep it to your self. I personally wouldn't mind paying for BL unlock if that is your game here.

I recently had this issue and fixed it after a lot of trial and error. Try flashing twrp through a different usb port l. Let me know what error you are getting when you flash recovery in adb cmd. You can pm me.

the problem is that it already passed several versions of twrp it shows that it flashed successfully
but it does not enter recovery, it returns to fastboot mode

Hey man thx for the share, i tried to flash it with TWRP but is says that the zip is corrupted.
