Hi there
I have bricked my phone trying to install the Xposed framework.
Upon reading here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
I installed the apk fine without trouble but then if I am not wrong the actual framework needs to be installed using TWRP?
So I put TWRP on the phone.
If I am not wrong the G900I is the Australia model which I think uses ARM? Not Arm64 and not x86? So I downloaded the ARM of xposed and tried to install it as the .zip file on TWRP and got given a red error message which ended in 'ERROR 1' I can't remember the exact message.
The phone will not boot at all now and just stays on the splash screen.
Can anyone not only help me fix it but when I do fix it, to properly installed xposed framework?
Thanks
Did you get a solution for this issue? I am having a similar issue as well. Message comes up on splash screen saying set warranty bit : kernel

Hello!
I have a rooted HTC One Mini with S-On and Stock-Rom.
I tried out to install a Xposed Installer and download the Framework out of it, but the installed Version (58) of app_process gets lost after restart and only the older version 47 was founded instead. I think this happens because of S-On.
I tried out to install only the Installer-apk and after that flash a Framework in Recovery, but I cant find a working zip-file for my old system.
I think i need a SDK 19 framework for arm-cpu. Is the version 2.4.1 right? I found a zip-file from osm0sis here. After successful flashing and rebooting my phone says that the apps are getting updated. After a minute it boots normally, but the Xposed Installer says again, that there is no Framework! All other zip-files I tried out cant be flashed in Recovery because of wrong SDK or wrong cpu-structure.
Im searching and trying jet for many hours, please help me!
Jonas
Try version 2.6 or 2.7, downloaded directly from a post by rovo89.
Thank you!
I can't find a zip-file of it. I only find apk's or the links to the latest apk.
Is there anywhere a thread with all downloads of the framework or a wiki? Am I too blind?
Just install the apk, it includes everything you need, that's how it works with those versions of Xposed.
This don't works. I can install the apk, but becouse my one mini is S-On the app-process gets lost after restart. I have to install a zip-file with a recovery.
I found a 2.6-version, but it wasn't from rovo89. It is flashable, but framework says it isn't active.

Use the latest version (v2.7 experimental1) from here. Then open the app, go to the Framework section and click on Install.
I've tried it again, with the linked 2.7-version. I can install the app. I can install the framework. After restart the app_process gets lost.
Is it possible to add screanshots directly, or only over url? Sorry I'm not at home.
Oh, I can´t post Screenshots because I´m new here in this forum.
May S-OFF is needed for installation.

Hi,
I have a Samsung galaxy S6 edge ( SM G9250) with Android 6.0.1 and I can't flash Xposed framework.
When I start to flash the zip file (xposed-v86-sdk23-arm64.zip) with TWRP, my phone boot in the recovery mode and at the button
of the screen I get this message:
"dm-verity verification failed"
Can anyone help me?
Are you using the official xPosed? You need to use Wanam's xPosed for Samsung fork
Thanks for reply!
I also tried with Wanam's xPosed, but I get the same result.
"dm-verity verification failed"
I maybe wrong but is that stock recovery? (I only have access to twrp, so for all I know it's CWM or whatever it is.)
I think you'd best be served in wanam's thread. Read it through first (yes learning and reading I a required part of being able to modify your phone ) because it's very likely somebody in the thread has already encountered the same issue and the solve is there.
So i sucessfully rooted my Huawei P8 Lite and installed TWRP. Then i tried to install Xposed v.89 for sdk23 (Android 6.0). The installation worked and it rebooted sucessfully, but after i installed the App on my phone it said xposed framework is installed but not active. So i tried to reboot my phone once more and this is when my phone started to be stuck in the huawei starting logo. I revoked everything and tried it a couple of times again and tried v85. It didnt change anything.
Can anyone help me with this because the virtual sensor module doesnt work without xposed framework being active and i just cant find a way to get it active and have the phone not get stuck while starting
My Huawei p8 Lite is running on android 6.0 with an ARM64 CPU
I hope anyone can help me with this.
Have you tried the uninstall zip?
You also shouldn't install a different Xposed zip if the one meant for your version didn't work. The others definitely won't work then.
Also, did you install any modules and tried to activate them? Maybe the module you activated is what caused the bootloop.

I once used to have Magisk and Xposed worked perfectly on my Xperia XZ. However today I reflashed the system firmware, flashed Magisk installer zip as usual and after everything's done flashed the Xposed installer zip, the XPERIA logo becomes REALLY SLOW (the animation lags and it takes a lot of time to boot). After that, either it reboots and get into bootloop directly, or I'm able to get in desktop. If I luckily reached the desktop and don't install Xposed Installer, I can reboot for any times I want. However if I install the Installer (if open it right after installation, it says framework is installed but not active) and reboots -- Boom! Bootloop again! The XPERIA logo just shows for about 3-5 secs and then reboots. Obviously I need the Installer to manage modules. I also tried the Systemless Module in Magisk Manager and the result is the same. I tried for a whole day attempting different conditions including changing the version of firmware and uninstalling Magisk, but the problem still exists. As I mentioned it worked before, so what the problem might be? Thanks!

try beta2, seems it's working
I've just gotten my new fi Motorola x4 running Android 8.1.0 today. I've unlocked the boot loader via Motorola and I've rooted the device via Magisk. Since I had the Xposed framework on my old phone and loved some of the modules I wanted it on my new phone. Downloaded the Xposed Installed from the playstore, gave it root access with Magisk and attempted to install the framework. Phone is now stuck in a bootloop and it's been alternating between the androidone and motorola screens for about 45 minutes.
I tried to flash xposed-uninstaller-20180117-arm64.zip but got an error that it couldn't mount /system. Another page on the net had me holding down the power button and then spamming it ten times to tell Xposed no to load but that didn't seem to do anything at all. I created a disabled file as suggested on some sites but that did nothing to stop the bootloop:
touch /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/disabled
I actually had to make the /conf directory manually since it wasn't there. Wiped the cache with no better results. Factory reset did nothing to improve the situation and I was unsuccessful with sideloading the Xposed disabler found here:
https://android.gadgethacks.com/how-to/xposed-101-temporarily-disable-xposed-fix-bootloop-0179446/
It's hard for me to grasp how a completely empty barebones android phone which has only been rooted using Magisk with no other actions taken or software installed can be be stuck in a bootloop trying to perform a standard install using the Xposed installer. Not sure you can find a cleaner environment than the one on my phone.
Anyway if anyone has thought I'd love to hear them. I can boot to TWRP without issue and my phone is visible to both fastboot and adb.
Thank you!
Laugh this is just getting worse. I uninstalled Magisk and now the phone boots straight into recovery whenever I restart it. I'd flash a stock rom but I can't find one. I think I'm in trouble...
Reinstalled Magisk and it at least tries to boot up again but it just loops.

In summary:
Step 1: Download the flasheable zip file from the Magisk module uninstaller from the following link to the PC
Step 2: Send the zip file to the SD card of the phones or to the internal memory using MTP (most of the recovery of TWRP is compatible with this method)
Step 3: Now, touch the Install button and choose the Zip file of the uninstaller of the Magisk module that you want to update.
Step 4: After the completion of the installation. Go back to the TWRP home page.
Step 5: Tap the advanced option from the TWRP homepage. Choose the terminal option now.
Step 6: Type uninmod in the terminal box and touch the input button.
Step 7: Now, you can see the list of Modules and you have to type the Number you want to uninstall (Check the screenshot below)
Step 8: Finally, the magisk module will be completely uninstalled.

Ok good, I got scared for you a bit there, my post was not meant to be mean spirited but maybe you read it as such. As far as the bootloop i'm afraid i'll be no help.
