I still didn't get my OTA in Croatia so I decided to try this. I came across an issue which wasn't present in official 4.1.2. and maybe someone had (and still has) it as well. I'm posting this here so that it's easier to find if anyone has this issue and wants to fix it.
I have installed 4.3 on my Xperia T with Locked Bootloader and everything worked fine. However, I have come across a issue and managed to solve it as well. Here's what happened and how I solved it, maybe it helps someone with same problem.
Today my battery drained to 0% and the phone shut down. Now when I plug it in to wall socket to charge, red LED goes on and it turns the phone on. Once Android boots I can see 0% in status bar and it starts shutting down again. Then it boots up again and loops like that. I remember that on 4.1.2. there would be a battery icon when it was completely empty and it wouldn't boot the system. Now it just loops. This didn't happen on official 4.1.2.
I have Googled for solutions and have tried this.
"1. Press and hold down the power key on the right side of the phone. If the battery status LED flashes red, try plugging the charger into the phone at the same time as you are pressing and holding in the power key.
When plugging the charger into the phone there is a risk that nothing happens – no red battery status LED as indication of charging, or nothing appearing on the screen.
If the charging doesn’t start, follow the instructions under To let the charger be plugged in for 24 hours.
2. If the charging starts, keep charging the phone until it’s fully charged. Indication of charging is that the battery status LED lights up in red, or that the SONY symbol appears on the screen and then the LED lights up."
Problem was that when I left it to charge (screen off, LED red) it would start booting again after a few minutes. When it started to boot, I would press volume up + power key to shut it down and keep charging. I had to do this many times (10 to 15) and it was very frustrating but it worked in the end. I decided to let it boot and voilà! it showed 1% battery and didn't start shutting down. Now it's charged to 2% and keeps on charging.
The lesson - don't EVER let your Xperia discharge below 1%, you'll have a world of problems.
I have the exact same problem, except that it doesn't even charge when my screen is off.
Great find! I used a separate way to get it to charge but I can assure you it gave me a world of pain! Thank you for sharing
What about the Xposed module DisableCriticalBatteryShutdown?
If or devices were no longer turning off again after booting when battery is 0%, the problem would be fixed, right?

Hey guys... Love you guys! I have a somewhat unique issue going on and am wondering whawt you all think is the best way to proceed. I have a D415 LG-Optimus L90 for T-Mobile. It was rooted with Towelroot (v3 I believe) and I flashed CM onto it (CM11, i believe). I had the back cover removed with battery in it BUT it was powered off and it was laying on the ground and a very shallow, light puddle of liquid seeped down the walls and eventually it puddled up and seeped under my phone so a VERY small amount, a very light layer, of liquid got onto the bottom/outside parts of my battery and the back-inside area surrounding battery. Upon reinserting the battery, it wouldn't turn on. When connected to charger, it gives me the empty battery icon with the yellow triangle (warning? sign). If i leave the phone powered off for a day or more and connect to charger/power bank (it fluctuates), it charges from 0% BUT it stays at 0%.... after about a minute of this, I can boot the phone up and it boots up to my CM initial setup/welcome screen. At this point, I can go through the setup process however no wi-fi networks show up (and i'm in a wi-fi networks zone) and after going through "Setup" steps and click "Finish" or "Go to Home Screen", it powers down and reboots and stays stuck in this bootloop. Sometimes, if i restart or power cycle my device from initial setup/welcome screen while STILL connected, it'll go back to the empty battery icon with the yellow triangle warning icon.. So i'm getting a new battery today and am wondering what I should do once I charge my new battery and am ready to fix my phone; flash stock OS onto it? Re-flash CM and Gapps? Any and all help is appreciated ; i do have internet access with sync cables, SD cards, etc so I should have all tools neessary to fix this. I've been a month without a phone and needless to say, i've suffered for it so any and all help is appreciated; any links, referalls, suggestions.... Thanks in advance!

There should be no need to reinstall the OS, but it wouldn't hurt either. If you reinstall the stock ROM ( KDZ ), unless from backup, you'll have to go thru the rooting process again. You can also, as you mentioned, reinstall CM11 as well. Anyway, I'd try booting to recovery then wiping cache and dalvik-cache then reboot. If no luck there, then I'd reinstall an OS also wiping cache and dalvik-cache before booting to the OS.
It kinda sounds to me, from what you posted, like there is now some kind of hardware damage.
so I havent gotten the new battery yet but the old one charged up to 15% so gonna see if it'll charge up to more. And on the phone, it boots up to the setup screen and gives me a bunch of repeaged "google play has stopped running" - force close / report options dialog box for a bunch of google processes and wont boot to Home screen and I can't boot into recovery. You think there's hardware damage to the battery or other internal hardware? What, specifically, would you do? and any links to manuals, walk-thru's??
I went to sleep and upon waking up found that my SP had switched off. I thought that my battery must have run out so plugged it in. It boots up to the Sony logo and shows the charging icon but then repeats the process over and over again.
I got it to boot up once but the battery shows 0% and there is a red coloured lightning bolt in the middle of the battery icon. I don't know what that means?? Then it switches off and the whole process is repeated...
I'm on XenonHd 8.1 rom. I don't think it is a software issue because the phone was running flawlessly and then suddenly this.... so bummed out. I really like this phone (using since 5years) and hope someone can help me.
Hi,
So the battery of My moto x 2014 is almost dead. It shuts down every now and then, even when the battery meter says its 100%.
Few hours ago it got shut down. I was busy so I connected it to charger and left it as it is. Now when I picked it up it won't turn on. When I connect the charger it shows battery symbol for 2 seconds, vibrates then shows smaller battery symbol (all black screen with white battery symbol in the center, and the symbol is full white meaning the battery is full), and then complete blank screen.
I tried to boot into system, recovery, fastboot but it won't work.
When I connect it to computer, computer gives off a sound that a new device is connected but adb won't recognize the device.
Help!
Hey mods you can delete this thread.
I was trying to remove the back cover and somehow the power button ribbon came out of its slot. I only saw it once I removed the back cover completely. Putting it back fixed the problem.
Sorry guys! ?
Hello!
As the title says, my phone won't turn on even when connected, it just shows a battery with a white "X" and then it reboots over and over again, Does anyone know what could be the problem?
If someone is facing the same issue, it was the battery flex being a little loose, it was causing the issue.
