I know you're all very knowledgeable, so I need your help!
I turned off my diamond last night when the battery was running out and since I put it back on charge whatever I do I can't get into it.
Edit: It's actually the T-Mobile version MDA Compact IV but with Manila TF3D and skin.
It starts up, says windows mobile etc. then it gets to the phone lock screen (which is always a bit laggy) but I can only manage a few digits before it locks up and completely freezes, then I have to do a soft reset or remove the battery to even turn it off.
I've tried everything, even typing the password as fast as I can, but I entered the wrong password too many times and now it's asking me enter a series of letters and numbers before I try again (which would be ok if it didn't lock up by then).
What can I do!?

Panic over - read some posts and figured out how to do a hard reset - all sorted now, thanks anyway!
That'll teach me for setting registry cache tweaks to maximum!

I had a similar thing and had to remove the SIM and refit....I got mine replaced and have since flashed SwiftBLs rom on the replacement to get rid of all the horrible t-mobile, slow and buggy 1.37.x.x rom......even though they claim everyone is happy with the device.
Ahh .. right - may have to try that SwiftBL ROM then, haven't tried flashing a new ROM yet, will have to read all the instructions etc.
Apart from the pinkness, the original one doesn't bother me too much, I find it pretty fast - especially compared to when I installed the Manila TF3D - it was really slow after that!
** By the way - I've just noticed that since my Hard Reset the weather cannot update it says it cannot connect! What is wrong here? I can get onto the internet but not download the weather!? **

Last night around 1 am, my phone's screen and keyboard lit up signifying that i got a new email. I use S2U2 v2.04 and phonealarm pro v2.05 to alert me about emails/sms/calls. So, like usual, I unlocked the phone, entered the password and was about to go to the home screen to tell it to ignore the new email. Except this time, as I'm trying to enter the password, a system message comes up "your device is running low on system memory, please uninstall or delete programs to recover more memory". i ignored it and tryed to go back to the home page..still nothing. It kept showing a black screen with the su2u top row info "clock, carrier picture, signal". So, I restarted the phone, and it gave me another "low memory" system error. Every time I would restart my phone, the memory would reset to 55-56 MB out of the possible 128 MB "rest used for OS, s2u2, phonealarm, and spb diary". there wasnt any way i could uninstall apps because it wouldnt open the uninstaller, nor could i delete any files because the file explorer wouldnt show me program files or my documents. then it wouldnt show me the start menu. so i restarted again, and now its stuck in the splash screen. going into spl/serial mode is still possible, but i dont know what to do with it. i want to try ad recover the data on the phone....but i hardly see that as possible. i tryed factory formating it, but i dont know how.
I ended up going to the AT&T store and they factory restored it using the left+right soft key and the reset button. its working now...still confusing of what happened with the memory
Hello guys.i am new in the forum..I have a problem with my phone.My phone is not the Htc touch diamond 2 but is a taiwan clone model T5358+ coming with windows mobile 6.5.The problem is that after install the A-H_Brians's WM6.5 Taskbar ~ gfreek edition V5a.zip (i download from this site)
and[/url] choose the A fonts my phone restarts and working fine showing the new icons that i install.after i try to unistall this program and my phone restarts showing the yellow-orange screen writing windows mobile for about a minute and then restarts again etc.i try to make it soft reset with a small buttom located behind the battery but nothing happens.also i try to make it hard reset(holding the up and down volume keys and after the power)but one white screen coming writing that stage 3 of 3 it cannot continue because file missing in memory card.when i connect the phone with the pc and open the phone...my pc regognice the phone as a disk.but phone dont let me choose between the sync and disk data.it remains to disk data mode for 1 minute and after restart again etc.I am not expert but i understand that something wrong with the windows mobile software so it cause restart all the time.Is there any guy there he can help me?trully it will be very helfull for me since that i just bought this phone and i feel litle bad right now.i thing you are the only you can help me here...thank you.
I suggest you search for the clone thread and in the ROM Development forum and ask in there.
You'll probably have to hard reset, instruction will be found there as well.

my xperia dont show, that i get a sms. it dont vibrite or make a sound. Only when i juse the powerbuttom, to see my screen, then it starts vibrate and show me that i got a sms. the problem startet while i jused the Dynamik rom after 1 Year without problems. i tried energy, but there i got no battery life too. The 825 rom have the same problem with the sms.
hope you have a solution, so it shows me that i got a sms, without i must watch every 5 mins, if i got one.

Since I upgraded to the latest release of Oreo 8.1.0.120 (C432) (branded H3G) the phone keeps crashing !!!!
Virtually all of a sudden the screen is divided into 2 vertically, a completely black part and a slightly lighter one with the time indicated.
The phone can not be unlocked in any way, either with the power button or fingerprints.
He receives phone calls (the accept and reject buttons are vertical) but nothing else.
Tried to do soft reset several times (deleted cache and system reboot), 1 time also hard reset: sometimes it restarts and returns to normal, sometimes it remains exactly locked as before.
Screen resolution modes is fixed to fhd + .....
I thought it was a bug on the reactivation from a bluetooth device (the speakerphone of the car) because the first time he did it when I turned off the machine and the device was obviously connected, but instead he did it on other occasions not attributable to that.
Face recognition doesn't work too (I'm not able to recognize and save the face).
I got the phone as soon as it came out, and it never had any kind of problem .......

Use funkyhuaewei or if you have TWRP installed reflash stock fw that should fix
Hi! Thank you for the help but I have no TWRP and I've seen that for funkyHuawei the minimum credit is about 40€!!!!!! Is there another procedure to reinstall the firmware??????
