Is this normal for one?

Well it's simple when I load an app to read or modify my cpu frequencies, every app I've tried shows my min and max frequencies as the same (@1.7), I think this is a bug, I don't think my phone is running at full speed always
Btw my phone is running stock ROM 1.29.1540.17 stick kernel
What do you think?

stock kernel tends to do that. minimum jumps from 384 to 1728. happens to me all the time on stock kernel

But it doesn't means we are running @ full speed isn't it? I don't think so because I got almost 5 hrs screen on and 14 hrs stand by

Mine does the same. I just set minimum to 384 and frequency lock it.

I think whenever there's a heavy load the kernel temporarily jumps the minimum to the maximum. It actually keeps the minimum at 384 otherwise.
At least this is what my research has led me to believe.
Guessing its to make things quicker (like opening apps, waking the phone up). There's no reason to frequency lock it.

[Q] Any one have any performance tips for the Mi Note Pro

Hi All,
I am just putting this out there to see if anyone is doing anything special to improve the performance or battery life for the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro.
I did see somewhere that someone was using the SKYNET_GENYSIS mod which I have tried to install but it does not seem to be working for me. I have posted the problem in the SKYNET_GENYSIS thread.
Is anyone using some form of Kernel Tuner that works well with the SD810?
Please let me know your thoughts.
Regards,
You can check for "Performance mode" enabling, via Mi Verification app.
Or you can modify CPU and GPU minimum speed via Kernel Adiutor for example.

ACC - Advanced charging controller Magisk module

Hello, is there anybody who's using ACC on Mi 8 with MIUI? If so, is it safe to install and use? Is the charging speed better? Thanks.

I'm using it on Axon 7 Android Pier custom ROM and it works weird... over 65% of charging it stops and restarts charging every minute... it takes long time to chagre since that...

Hi,
I use the Pocophone F1, Mi Max 3 and 2 both with MIUI 10.
Both work 100%.
Regarding the speed of the charging, I advise the default because the faster the battery, the degrade the battery.
Good luck!

Can someone tell me what component this is?

What is this Yellow tape in MI max 2?
It seems that for the smart cover
